About meI believe compassion & love are the noblest traits..open mindedness & a sense of humor are always good, too.
I live with lots of passion...I don't think I've ever known how to live any other way.
I have an Aussie named Dublin who means worlds to me.
I am a vegetarian...I like cheese too much to be vegan.
I may or may not be harboring some ridiculous crush on Dita Von Teese.
I'm going to school at EKU for Criminal Justice and Politics, and should've graduated a few years ago, but I'm almost there :)
I try my best to not judge people and just let them be.
I miss Chicago like you wouldn't believe.
And lastly, I believe the Electoral College is idiocy, lunacy, and desultory incarnate.
Oh, and since this is a site for bibliophiles, I'll throw this in:
for anyone who likes fantasy or Lewis Carroll, I cannot recommend The Looking Glass Wars Trilogy enough; it's so amazing, it has its own official soundtrack and has supplementary material in the form of ridiculously well written/illustrated graphic novels called Hatter M.
About my library*The person, be it gentlemen or lady, who has not pleasure in a good novel, must be intolerably stupid* ~Jane Austen

My book collection looks a bit like my movie collection; Definite preferences and favorites, but a wide and thorough variety.
I could reread The Looking Glass Wars trilogy and Harry Potter into oblivion, as well as:
Anything by Neil Gaiman, Thich Nhat Hanh, HH The Dalai Lama, Anais Nin, or Ghandi.
My mom likes to make me less homesick by sending me lots of books, mostly related to forensics and crime. She gave me the Encyclopedia of Serial Killers for Valentine's Day :)
I have enough books that they are sorted by subject;
Books on various religions; evidence, criminal justice, & forensics; classic literature (Austen, Nin, Lee, Shakespeare, Rand, Lawrence, Wells, Verne, Poe, Carroll); fantasy (Looking Glass Wars Trilogy, Harry Potter, His Dark Materials, The Bartimaeus Trilogy and all of my Gaiman books...of course this spills well over into a second shelf); historical fiction (mostly Irish); mythology & Arthurian legends; and of course the "random jumblings" shelf.
