About meI live in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I have recently developed a passion for listening to audiobooks while I drive. My favorite read is a memoir or biography that celebrates the human spirit and provides insight into another period in history or a perspective/life experience that is different than mine. I love recommendations!

Noticed you liked The Glass Castle, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a dysfunctional family (and also a bit dark). I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

Hi! Thanks for showing an interest in my library. I am honored! Was there something that drew your attention? I see you have both Autobiography of a Face and Digging To America in your library. I have heard good things about both...what are your thoughts?

Where do you live in Mpls. I lived in Mpls when I first got married, down by the downtown postoffice and then off River Road. I used to work for the Timberwolves!

Happy Reading...
I'm impressed with the selection of authors in your library...McPhee, Pagels, Sedaris, and Becket are some of my all time favorites too.

You might also enjoy David Remnick's Lenin's Tomb and The Devil Problem...and Michael Lewis' Moneyball and Blindside.

Anyway, have a good weekend.
