About meI am a stay at home mum, married for 24 years and have two teenage sons. We live in Aberdeen, Scotland and have been here for 18 years. I love reading, when time allows and preferably before falling asleep at night!!! Since joining Bookcrossing and Book Club Forum my range of authors and books has vastly increased as have the amount of book shelves in our house, but this can only be a good thing. Feel free to leave a friendly 'hello' and I will get back to you.
About my libraryI tend to read family/relationship type novels. Have a host of authors I like and always looking to add more to my list.

Just read your message that you left on here on the ninth. Sorry it has taken me so long to reply as I have not been on here since I got back from my hols on the 11th. I am well been decorating since I returned, the house is upside down at the moment! Been getting more books off Amazon but I am reading at a slow pace at the minute. How are you? Hope you are well.

Playing with the Moon Eliza Graham
"Reeling from the death of their baby son in a car accident, Minna and her husband Tom take refuge in a lonely coastal village commandeered by the military in 1944 and only recently reopened to the public. Tom and Minna find the remains of a black American GI on a beach. He’s believed to have drowned in a wartime exercise, but Minna discovers that American troops only trained here months after this soldier died."
Great story but there is more than this tells you it jumps back and forward in time and becomes a story of a time and of coming to terms with things to move on.

Thanks for adding me to your friends list. I see we're both fans of Alice Hoffman. She sees the word in an amazing light.

There aren't many books that do that for me. Another one was Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood. I read that one the week after my mum died. A book to save your life, I reckon. When you find yourself wishing fictional characters were your 'real' friends, the you know you're in trouble!

Which is my feeble excuse for taking four months to reply to your post. But hey, better late than never.Thankyou for your kind words about my books.
Happy Spring!
