About me

To support my book habit, I write and edit for others. When I’m not working, reading or haunting bookshops, I write for pleasure. I also curate My latest post about Wilde and the books that influenced him is Which poisonous yellow book? The secret of Raoul, Dorian and Oscar. I have started cataloguing Bram Stoker's library, too.

You can read my short story for bibliophiles, Bookaholics Anonymous on my blog, From book to book.

Update August 2013: The Wilde and Stoker libraries, as well as my blog, are all currently on hold because of difficult personal circumstances and the loss of my library.

About my libraryI estimate that I had 500-600 books, which I started cataloguing at LibraryThing. This year (2013), disaster struck and I've lost most of my personal library, so many of the titles listed in my catalogue represent books that I once owned.

Favorite authorsJane Austen, Alain De Botton, Peter Carey, Clare Clark, Emma Donoghue, E. M. Forster, John Fowles, Stephen Fry, John Galsworthy, Jane Harris, David Lodge, Ian McEwan, Andrew Miller, Sarah Waters, Oscar Wilde (Shared favorites)
