About my libraryI cannot justify my library. I cannot account for my incredible lack of judgment, nor can I account for my excellent taste. The books I have listed here (which are only a portion of what is yet to come) are all the books that can be found in my room. Since my philosophy of organization is much like Lin Yutang's, never minding the foolish way I trust others with my books, it is difficult for me to get an accurate record of what I actually own.
I cannot account for all of these books. This catalogue is the eclectic result of acquisitions from eclectic sources, from Airport stores, garage sales, family and friends, and community events. I have not read most of these, nor may I ever.
One of the dangers of posting your life on-line is that other people will inevitably see it. So please, I invite you. Come into my library and take a look around. Draw your conclusions, make your assumptions, and try to ascertain my personality from these volumes.
That is, if you're even into that kind of thing. If this were about me, it'd just be facebook or myspace.
