About my library I think my tastes are rather random. Great fiction, politics or history or pop science... whatever. Recently I was, semi-ashamedly, into that recent fad of fiction like The Eight, Rule of Four, Angels and Demons, etc. Though it seems to be dying off for me as quality seems to go down exponentially. But I still may try Shadow of the Wind. Also really just enjoyed Donna Tartt's "Secret History" and "Little Friend", and looking into maybe reading Old School or Calamity Physics or Prep to keep up the "rich, dark minded, smart people" theme. As well, into the fantasy lately for the first time ever recently as I loved "The Book of Lost Things" but that may be more mythology than fantasy. Also just read some books based in France to very mixed results and most recently, am finally trying out His Dark Materials.

As I said, I guess my tastes are quite eclectic.

Some in my library are books I no longer have and I'm sure there's a ton of books I still do have that aren't listed simply because they're packed away. It'll get better down the road with more time, access, stability.

Your King hate disgusts me.

If that book club keeps on going, I'm going to force you to read one of his worst books, Kujo or Thinner or some shit.
Oh and you can add people to a watch list (top right of peoples profiles) which is the closest thing to buddies I can see.
So have you read much Stephen King, it's weird that you have his On Writing and yet don't have any of his novels. I think i'm going to try Tortilla Flat as my next Steinbeck, it's good to see that you have it as the full 5 stars.
