I was born in New Zealand, but have lived in Alberta, Canada for the past twenty-some years. About my libraryI've got collections going for Canadian SF and kid's books, but mostly this is a fairly random selection. I'm adding some books as I read them, and some books as I mention them on my blog, and some books just because they seem like they could use the attention. I'll start reading it as soon as I finish the one I'm on right now. Dominion is on top of my pile right now :).

I might be interested in reviewing your book but I'd like more information about it first. I have a fondness for Canadian speculative fiction, being a writer of such, myself. And I like that you have so many Phyllis Gotlieb books in your library. How did you come to be such a fan? I was very sad to hear of her death.
I went to your author page and the book page to find out more about you and about your book, but there isn't much on offer there. A few more details would be great.
Cheers,
Casey

Build great accomplishments from small beginnings.
Prepare for rough spots while the going is still smooth
Control things before they peak in force.
Deal with danger before it appears.
Manage simple hardness with easy softness.
Defuse hateful anger before violent explosion
All this is called 'nipping it in the bud'.
The tallest tree grew from a tiny sprout.
The tallest building began with one scoop of dirt.
The longest journey begins with a single step.
Successful people aim for high goals
by starting to working at the bottom
right now.
That's why they succeed.
Casual promises don't inspire much confidence.
If you begin a project with a cynical joke,
the laugh will be on you.
If you are prepared for hardship,
it will never defeat you.
Many people give up
when they are just about to succeed.
Pay close attention at the beginning,
persevere patiently to the end,
and nothing will come to ruin.
