Hi!

I made a mistake with the Richelle Mead series I mentioned - so I deleted my original comment. Sorry :) (Reasons why I shouldn't post comments when I've had no sleep! ;) hehe)

Thanks for passing on the link to your blog review. I saw one of the books you are looking forward to this year is the second Dark Swan book! I have the 1st, but have not read it yet.

I am currently reading Street Magic by Caitlin Kittredge. I just started it a few days ago. :)

I loved Revolutionary Road. I agree - it had 2 of my favorite actors, too! I loved how any outside-shot looking at the street or house was "picture perfect". (like when she's at the doorway looking out. or in the yard) Maybe I'm reading too much into it. :) I adored the clothes & cars, too!

OOoh, Let me know how Twenties Girl is, please! :) I'm curious. It is on my watch list for the summer. (The new Carlos Ruiz Zafon, too!) I'm curious what you think of Brida, too. I gave it to a few friends as presents this year.

I love discussing books - so pass on recommendations anytime! :)

I will check out your blog. :) I recently moved my book-ramblings to a WP blog - I'm working on it. (I need to get my old site back up. For now. I have just been using Livejournal)

Have a nice day!

hi :) Your library kept popping up under "top 50 libraries" when I was adding books.

I have La Vida Vampire & Last Vampire Standing on my summer reading list! & Brida - how did you like it? It is on my nightstand unfinished. (I like it, it is just one in the stack) I need to update my library - I have been neglecting it far too long! hehe)

I see Revolutionary Road is one of your favorites. I recently watched the film. I was afraid to watch it because I had read the book and didn't know if it would be different. I love the actors, I was just hesitant. Have you seen the film?

& Sophie Kinsella.. I love her books. Especially when I need a laugh. :) Love her! Can't wait to read Twenties Girl. Did you see Confessions of a Shopaholic? I haven't - yet.

Just wanted to stop by and say hi! Have a good week!
Hi, Jacqueline - Found you on the Memoirs/Bio/Autobio Group. Turns out many of the members there don't share any of my library. You do have a few of the same. I read mostly memoirs and have written a few myself. Wonder if you've read Debra Dickerson's AN AMERICAN STORY - a terrific memoir. I especially enjoyed its section on her time at DLI (Defense Language Institute) while she was in the AF. I spent a year-plus there myself, in the army. And I lived in Odenton MD for 21 yrs while working for DoD. Retired now and back in my home state of MI. Keep reading. - Tim
Hi, not a joke your face is impressive!!!
Hi,

LibraryThing contacted me and indicated you were one of the winners of the Early Reviewer Giveaway (for my novel, Dirty Little Angels). Please send me your e-mail address (mine is mail@christophertusa.com), and I'll send you a copy of the e-book.

Thanks for entering the giveaway,

Chris
1294! your library is coming along very nicely :)
Hi Jacqueline,

The member giveaway is offering an e-book version of the book. Are you not interested in reading the e-book?
Noticed you liked The Bluest Eye, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also southern and a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

Thanks,

Chris
