About meIm a 17 year old male from The United Kingdom. I would like to read more, and so am joining this site to get book recommendations of what I should read. I look forward to meeting people who share the same intrests in books that I do.

About my libraryAll the books in my library are ones which I have read, or ones which I intend to read soon. The ones with star ratings are teh ones that I have read.

Noticed you liked Vernon God Little, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my novel since it's also southern (and a bit dark). I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm currently out of physical copies). If you're interested, send me your e-mail address (mine is mail@christophertusa.com), and I'll send you the e-book. Here's a link to a summary (and a sample chapter) in case you'd like to read more about the book before you commit:

Hello Jake,
Many thanks for the Independent offer note. I am now clutching my own free copy of Clockwork Orange! Librarything sends the news from Eastbourne to Stourbridge! Thanks also for the spoilers comment on book talk. I see you are new to librarything, it's a great place check out journalist Sam Jordison from my favourite daily The Guardian on Guardian Unlimited and librarything. Have fun.
Cheers Kevin (dylanwolf)
Hi Jake,

I saw your posting on the talk list - I see you`re in the UK. You might be interested to know there are two UK-based groups you can join, Brits and Books for Brits.

I`m also not sure whether others can actually join your `Newbies` group - you might want to check you`ve set it up right - I`m don`t think anyone can answer your message as things stand.

I did something similar when I first joined as I recall.

It`s all easy once you get the hang of it.

Best Wishes and Welcome to LT,

Nick
