About meI started reading when I was four, and have been reading ever since. I have a BA in English Literature and for several years taught English Literature and Composition. I work part time in a library and read voraciously. Having a love of history, I am involved in several historical societies and other organizations that encourage research and documentation of the southwest United States where I live.
About my libraryMy personal collection contains approximately 5,000 titles of fiction and 2,000 titles of non-fiction. My reading tastes vary widely though I tend to favor classical American authors, especially William Faulkner, Wallace Stegner, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and others. In poetry I most enjoy English poets of the Romantic Period with William Blake being my favorite poet. My non-fiction books are primarily history of the trans-Mississippi west, Canadian history, and transportation (ships, trains, aeroplanes). I also like to read books on psychology, madness, and the paranormal.
