About meI am the Author of the Harry Pond Spiritual Adventure series of novels, of which Harry Pond Looks Homeward, The Spiritual Adventures of an Ohio Farm Boy, is the first. My own life has been one of seeking and being blessed to have found great wisdom in the world that has been shared with me. So, I write this novel series to share that wisdom, with, I will say, a humble heart. The world we live in is one that reflects the duality of the "light" and the "dark," but my own journey has led me to reach beyond the "light and darkness of the earth plane" to a Light that is beyond these and one that is within and the Source of all. Call it "Great Spirit," or "God," Allah, or "Wakan Tanka," or whatever, the true source of all is one and it is this one that I have sought and been very successful in not only making my peace with, but in enjoying the life that comes from that. I am happily married and have had an extraordinary life of my own adventures including having led spiritual workshops, led Medicine Wheel "Earth Wisdom Tours" in Sedona, Arizona, hitchhiked across China and Tibet to spend the Harmonic Convergence in Lhasa and at sacred Mt Kailas (Meru), where I stayed for in the monastery at the base of the mountain... As a boy I loved reading the book, Lost Horizon, and always dreamed of going to the Himalayas in search of "Shangrila." My journey has led me very close to it and I am happy in my novels to share whatever gifts I have been given.

About my libraryMy library reflects the pathways my life has taken me on. One of the first "serious" books I ever read was Siddhartha by Herman Hesse. My library has lots of works that teach about the "Light, but also includes Madeleine L'Engle's Wrinkle in Time set of novels, which also talk about the truth of Light, but from a whimsical "children's books" point of view.

My first book reflects the joys of the path and the struggles, indeed, we all go through in living our lives. Harry Pond, in my view, is a true American hero who learns to know his own Light and seek the Master's Path, as he confronts the darkness where he finds it. The novel, Harry Pond Looks Homeward, the Spiritual Adventures of an Ohio Farm Boy is about a returning Vietnam vet who finds his once patriot "um pa pa" band-in-the-center-of-the Town square, inhabited by dark forces, his parents killed in a mysterious accident, his beloved Uncle suspected in the deaths, and his family farm and the sacred forest his family is sworn to protect, threatened by sinister forces. Harry, his sister Becky and other "farm family" members find help in their struggle in the form of a magical group of Ascended Masters and Angels within the forest who help overcome the threat -- while Harry, Becky and friends experience valuable lessons of the soul along the way.
