Har har, Fresno is not exactly the cultural center of America, is it? Esp. for us artsy folk. Are you much involved in the arts community here? I haven't really had much chance to check it out, being in Minnesota for most of my college years.
I enjoyed Catch-22, but was surprised at how "dark" it was for a book that I had been told was comical. I suppose you have to expect any book with the setting of war to at least have some dark undertones, though. I loved how Joseph Heller made the authority figures seem so inane at times. However, war is often an inane thing, isn't it?
