Are you trying to promote your own books by asking people to become friends with you? I don't know your work nor have I ever heard of you before so that's why I'm asking. I don't usually allow men I don't know as friends of mine either so until I know a little bit more about you. I'd have to say no. There is nothing on your profile about you.
