About meBibliophile, obviously, and now that my dear friend Maveth has been so kind as to alert me to teh existence of this particular site I will have no life.

About my libraryCompiled largely during my years in the Torrey great books program and later through extensive use of cheap book sites and library sales. My collection of rare and old books has been compiled here in the states, in England, Scotland, Greece, and Italy; some of the older volumes were passed on to me by my grandfather. I prefer old books with character, but I do not feel compelled to purchase expensive first-editions. Thus, my old book collection is relatively worthless from a monetary standpoint, but all true bibliophiles will understand.

Noticed you liked I Never Promised You a Rose Garden, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a disturbed young girl's mental illness and also a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

You're falling behind, rookie.
Good to know there are a few souls out there familiar with Charles Williams. A most excellent author!
Yes, good ol' Chuck doesn't have too many fans these days. It's really a shame. "Descent into Hell" and "All Hallow's Eve" were horrifyingly good. I think it may be time to start another one. I had started "War in Heaven" a few weeks ago but wasn't in the right mental state to digest it.
