I have limited storage space so I can afford to keep only those books which I would like to leave to my descendants, or read myself at when I get around to them. A book is of most value when someone is reading it, not just sitting on a shelf waiting for the owner to figure out a way to get it to another person who is interested in that subject. Public libraries have received so many donated books that some are refusing to accept any more.
