About meI live in Berkeley, CA. I'm a late middle aged woman. Hobbies are knitting, gardening, and reading. I try to read a lot of women authors who I think are not taken seriously by mainstream reviewers and the academic community. That said, one of my favorite authors is Kurt Vonnegut.

About my libraryI read mostly fiction, and almost any genre except horror. I used to read a lot of mysteries but in the last several years have started to read more fantasy and some science fiction. I read based mostly on my mood. If I'm in a serious mood I'll read literary fiction. If I'm a bit depressed, I'll read fantasy or lighter fiction.
