Thanks for the comment! It's interesting to hear from somebody with a similar library.

As for Handbook to Luck, the characters are very unique and I was very intrigued by them. I read it quite a while ago and yet some scenes still stick with me. Honestly, though, the resolution of the various plots seemed lackluster. I had to look at other reviews to remind myself of what happened because I only remembered the beginnings of each character's story.

See for yourself, though, it may be that the interesting characters are enough to carry it through for you.
