Hi,

I only noticed your comment about The Lost Symbol recently.
I have just started a book blog. I will try and add a review there.

I would love to hear what readers such as you think about the site. Any suggestions/criticism is welcome.

Also, it is a WIP at the moment so any ideas asto what I can include in thereto improve the viewer's experience such as a place for them to add in their own suggestions etc would be welcome.

The website is http://suchisbookshelf.blogspot.com

Cheers,
Suchitra
You know, I read it years ago and I have yet to read it again so when I do which is hopefully soon I will video reply I have it set to read next. Thanks for the comment I appreciate it and apologize it took so long to respond work, writing and a virus kicked me down for a bit but I'm back now.
I'll leave you a comment now before I forget, since I probably won't get around to reading Dune for a few months. It was one of a large number of sci-fi books that I recently traded for. I abandoned the genre decades ago because newer works no longer were interesting me. Now that I've retired, I decided to re-read some of the books that really moved me in the past, to see if they still did. Dune, along with the Foundation trilogy, Ringworld, Stranger in a Strange Land, and many Arthur Clarke books were my favorites. As you might gather, I loved books that had anthropological or environmental focus. How would creatures behave in an environment that was different from ours -- how would their bodies and cultures evolve? I thought Dune was fascinating, complete, well nuanced, and engaging. I remember reading the sequels, up to a point, and was always let down by them. I'll check out your video review and get back to you after Dune surfaces on the top of my pile.
It was a good video review, although i didn't think that ending was rushed, but what do i know?
I agree but I can't say that I was bored with any of The Lost Code.
Maybe it's just where I'm coming from as a 37-year-old mother seeing a joker not in a circus would be intimidating as well as seeing a D&D fanatic who went overboard. I'd definitely be heading the other way. To me he added a lot of fear to the book.
HA!
Oh shush you. D:
