About meI Am a Nurse who on her down time is a Avid Reader. If you take a gander at my library you my think it has alot of fluff. Yes maybe, but I have graduated from the chic-lit and am moving in a more mature direction. Don't get me wrong I still love the chic-lit.Love,Love,Love Historical Fiction it takes me from my everyday life and I become a time travler into any era or place. I love reading about The Tudors,Romans,Early Americans,Civil War,Courteans,Plagues,WWII. It is a Passion...

About my libraryI Read what is Interesting to me not what is challenging . I have rated all the books in my library. I still have about 500 books at home that need cataloged and many read during school in the early years which I haven't even started. If I don't remember all details it is not cataloged and if not read too confusing.

Noticed you liked She's Come Undone, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a disturbed young girl's downward spiral and a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

Hi Kendra & everyone else on this post,
Just opened up Librarything which I haven't done for awhile and found your comment, the first I've had! Sounds like we like a lot of similiar stuff. Like you I like to read low-brow stuff just as an escape from everyday life but also like something that makes me think every now and then. I am a Librarian and just love history, always felt like I was born in the wrong era. The "Time Travellers Wife" is one of my favourites. Anyway, I will have a look at your library and see if there is anything I haven't read that I can put on my Christmas List:)
I adore the psychic eye series and I think that I have read them all so far, they may not be on my list yet. I might have missed some though. She has a new series as well that I can't wait to read. Thanks for commenting! Happy reading.
Ah...I love your book list! "Almost Moon" is on my list of books to read, but then the stack beside my bed is already daunting. Thanks for finding my books interesting. I'm adding you to mine since I find yours interesting as well!
Hi Kendra,
Thanks for adding me to your interesting libraries list! Hope you will find some books there that you enjoy. I see that you like historical fiction; my husband makes fun of me, but I also love to escape into the past (I read a lot of history, too). I say a good mix of the challenging and the fun is always a healthy reading diet!
best, bookie
Hi Kendra Just commenting to say thanks for finding my library interesting! I see you have wide range of book interests. The most important thing though is that you obviously love reading. Personally I like a challenge but it is always a fine balance.

Hey - i hope you enjoy Housekeeping. It's not everybody's cup of tea, but a lot of people love it. Another one you might like is Jesus' Son by Denis Johnson. It's also amazing.
LOL!!! Sorry I am so late replying I kept forgetting. Yes we do share a lot of books. I do love sharing what I read to others so your more than welcome to look over my library anytime.
This is a fun site. You have read so many of my favorites already. One I just read that was a good, fast read is "The Prize Winner of Defiance, Ohio". What are some of your faves?
Hi. I see we share alot of the same books. I added you to my watch list. Keep up the reading.!!
