About meI Am a Nurse who on her down time is a Avid Reader. If you take a gander at my library you my think it has alot of fluff. Yes maybe, but I have graduated from the chic-lit and am moving in a more mature direction. Don't get me wrong I still love the chic-lit.Love,Love,Love Historical Fiction it takes me from my everyday life and I become a time travler into any era or place. I love reading about The Tudors,Romans,Early Americans,Civil War,Courteans,Plagues,WWII. It is a Passion...
About my libraryI Read what is Interesting to me not what is challenging . I have rated all the books in my library. I still have about 500 books at home that need cataloged and many read during school in the early years which I haven't even started. If I don't remember all details it is not cataloged and if not read too confusing.

Just opened up Librarything which I haven't done for awhile and found your comment, the first I've had! Sounds like we like a lot of similiar stuff. Like you I like to read low-brow stuff just as an escape from everyday life but also like something that makes me think every now and then. I am a Librarian and just love history, always felt like I was born in the wrong era. The "Time Travellers Wife" is one of my favourites. Anyway, I will have a look at your library and see if there is anything I haven't read that I can put on my Christmas List:)

Thanks for adding me to your interesting libraries list! Hope you will find some books there that you enjoy. I see that you like historical fiction; my husband makes fun of me, but I also love to escape into the past (I read a lot of history, too). I say a good mix of the challenging and the fun is always a healthy reading diet!
best, bookie
