About meI am an artist, writer, musician, poet, pilot, chocoholic, alien, speed freak, and kitten-loving weird guy. Among other odd things. In my own opinion, I am a complex, interesting, and strange, if often difficult, kind of person. I would advise you not to base your assessment of my character solely on what I write in this dumb little paragraph, or you will likely be far off the mark, and in danger of me calling you shallow and stupid. (~-^) Ask some people who know me what they think of me. Come to my websites (kaistarr.com and kyokipress.com), read my writing, read my comics, listen to my music, email me and get to know me, personally, if you want to, and then make up your mind as to whether I'm a decent man or not. I'm actually a very approachable guy and I love to make new friends, so don't be shy! Talk to me!
I have AIM, but you need to email me, first, and let me have your nickname, because I use blocking, and will have to add you to my buddy list, before we can chat. I also have MSN messenger, on which I am kaistarr@gmail.com, but I don't use it much. I have two LiveJournal accounts: http://kaichi-satake.livejournal.com/ and http://community.livejournal.com/kyokipr... and I have three MySpace accounts, one personal at http://www.myspace.com/kaistarr, one for my writing site at http://www.myspace.com/outlawstarr and one for my music and music comic at http://www.myspace.com/angelsofthesword. I also have a Blogger that I almost never use, at http://kyokipress.blogspot.com/ . I update the LJ, daily, though. Add me as a friend on any of these, and I'll add you back!
Read my current comic, if you'd like! Just click on the image, below:
Failing that, read my novels and short stories, by clicking on the banner, below:
My book, "Three Ways From Sunday" is now available on Amazon.com, and through my website at http://www.kaistarr.com/bookstore.html ! Get your signed copy, while they last.
About my libraryI can only put a fraction of my library on this site, with the free account. I am something of a bibliomaniac who finds it difficult to get rid of books, even though they may be long past their usefulness for me. My library contains well over 1,000 books (and once consisted of at least twice that number), and if I had more money and more space to shelve them, I'd buy more. I've read every book I own, and then some! My collection includes all sorts of weird things, ranging from a 1917 tome on how to drive a motor car, computer nerd books, comic books, film books, science fiction and fantasy novels, writing books, dictionaries. I've got philosophy, religion, new-ageyness, martial arts, healing arts, humor, art and art instruction, music technique, occult, history, culture, science and medical books, plus a huge set of books on the Elizabethan period.

Too often we don't realize
what we have until it is gone;
Too often we wait too late to say
"I'm sorry - I was wrong."
Sometimes it seems we hurt the ones
we hold dearest to our hearts;
And we allow foolish things
to tear our lives apart.
Far too many times we let
unimportant things into our minds;
And then it's usually too late
to see what made us blind.
So be sure that you let people know
how much they mean to you;
Take that time to say the words
before your time is through.
Be sure that you appreciate
everything you've got
And be thankful for the
Little things in life
that mean a lot.
