Noticed that you liked The Heart is a Lonely Hunter, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here (as well as on a few other book-related sites). I thought you might like my novel since it's been compared to that novel by a number of reviewers. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like. Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

Hey Karbie!

Wow you have a ton of books in your library that I'll have to check them out! I am still plugging away at Pillars, but really enjoying it! Maybe after things wind down here at school I'll have more time. Happy Reading!
Hi Karbie, I'm not sure if there's another (better?) way to offer a recommendation, but I viewed your library since we have a number of books in common and wanted to recommend 'How Children Raise Parents'--a very insightful good read that seems in line with your prefs. See my review for more detail if you're interested. Happy reading!
Karbie,
I kind of dropped off the radar, sorry. Thank-you for responding in July. If I have already responded, forgive my forgetfulness. Yes, I have read "Connecting," and also had the good fortune to attend one of Larry's Connecting Seminars. And as sadly often happens with me had the arrogance to think I was on an upper level, and then had to face the reality of the lack of it most of the time.
I read Hinds Feet... many years ago. It is probably time to pull it out and read it again. I refer to it still though and the benefit of the travelling companions of Sorrow and Suffering.

I loved The Thirteenth Tale. I thought it was wonderful. It reminded me of old gothic classics like Rebecca and even of Jane Eyre. What did you think? I haven't read The Sacred Romance, it's on my shelf. Have you read it? If so what did you think?
Hey- saw that you just read Lonesome Dove. I'm in the midst of it right now. I heard good things about it for years, but I always assumed it was just a western/romance. But I'm really loving it. It's such a big sprawling novel, but the characters are described so well I feel like I know them. I hope you enjoyed it too.
Yeah, I can spend alot of time looking at people's reviews etc.... I am reading Lonesome Dove, kind of a slow start, my book says somethiong about saga 3, is this a series? This is a good time waster when I am bored too. :-)
Karbie, you saw us! We really are blessed with a wonderful fellowhip and a dedicated pastor and wife. Glad you got to see us on our website. When you come to Rome remember, it's not only the Forum and St. Peter's it's also Rome Baptist Church with it's small but exclusive library.
Karbie,
I hope you don't get 2 of these. I'm just learning how to use this feature.
I have been rereading "Papa Prayer" with a small group of women as we're trying to apply it to our lives. We all are experiencing a SLOW but growing closeness to our loving Father.
Have you read any of Randy Alcorn's books? His "Deadline", "Dominion", "Deception" trilogy can't be put down by everyone I've recommended them to. They are murder mysteries where the deceased person is a believer and it cuts away to heaven to detail what's happening there also. He also wrote "Heaven", nonfiction. It has made heaven more real and desirable for me.
