have you read all the stuff you're adding? the narnia books were favorites of mine as a kid, and i read the golden compass last winter, but i haven't read the other books from the trilogy yet. have you?
i mentioned some YA/kid-style suggestions to Lexie the other week too.
have you read anything by Philip Reeve or Garth Nix? Un Lun Dun by China Mieville is awesome, as is Terry Pratchett's YA stuff.
