Nothing like a timely reply! I read the 10th Circle by Jody Picoult; it was recommended by one of my students. I was kind of unnerved by the graphic stuff she was evidently reading without batting an eye. I did think that Picoult did her research rather painstakingly well. Having said that I ended up not really liking the book because I couldn't really find justification for the main character's extreme behavior. Must be getting judgmental in my old age! Did you enjoy the book you were reading? I just finished reading Pillars of the Earth, speaking of historical fiction and started The Weird Sisters this morning by Eleanor Brown, which I find, so far, to be rather elegantly written. Sorry to be such a slug getting back to you. Hope you have a lovely weekend. It's certainly gorgeous out there today.
