About meHmm, well it is always interesting describing yourself. I would have to say that I'm a bit eclectic, and while I try for a zen state of mind, I'm usually a bit disjointed.

I am the happy mom of two cats, occasionally referred to as demons, and one very energetic horse.

I am a huge Scooby Doo fan (old cartoon, not the new stuff) and absolutely love the Mentalist and Leverage.

I am also an aspiring author, though unfortunately for me, my best ideas come after I've shut off the computer and am trying to sleep. My first book Midnight Reflections is now up at Amazon.com. It is a mystery thriller involving vampires, werewolves, warlocks and a serial killer. Basically, the story starts with an young woman struggling to deal with being turned into a vampires. Shortly after she begins adapting to her new unlife, a friend of hers is killed and she becomes involved in the investigation into finding the killer. In a world where vampires and werewolves are common and accepted, sometimes it is hard to find the actual monsters.

My third review is up on Amazon.com. 5 Stars this time!!!!
I just finished the Fourth Book in the Werecat series by Rachel Vincent. Awesomely wrote, another best seller I am sure. She is one hell of an author. If you have not read any from this series it si definetly worth looking into.
The second customer review for my book, Midnight Reflections, is now up on amazon. 4 Stars again!

You found me, here too... How are you?
That's great news about Amazon. And your book summary seems to be ripe for a sequel, even a series. I had never thought about a series or a sequel until I was mentally blocked for a new idea for another book after "Strangers." Then, it came to me that "Strangers" had a build in sequel to it. I guess I was subconsciously thinking all along about a sequel. It is interesting that "Strangers on a Train" and "The Hiding" are also about a woman who turns into a vampire, like your book. Maybe we are onto something!

My book, Midnight Reflections, got its first customer review on Amazon.com. 4 Stars!
I write both fiction (mystery, suspense, drama, action) and non-fiction (leadership and career management). I know this is an unusual cross-over between fiction and non-fiction, but one feeds off the other. Except for the last two books (Stranger on a Train and The Haunting) there are no repeat characters or scenes in the novels. However, these last two books are connected to each other. I had no idea when I was writing Stranger on a Train that there would be a sequel. When I finished Stranger on a Train, I could not think of another idea for another novel, so I re-read Stranger on a Train, and found the idea. The Haunting is my first vampire book and I working out the kinks. I think there is a trilogy in the works! What about you?

Wherever I am, there's always Pooh,
There's always Pooh and Me.
Whatever I do, he wants to do,
"Where are you going today?" says Pooh:
"Well, that's very odd 'cos I was too.
Let's go together," says Pooh, says he.
"Let's go together," says Pooh.

"What's twice eleven?" I said to Pooh.
("Twice what?" said Pooh to Me.)
"I think it ought to be twenty-two."
"Just what I think myself," said Pooh.
"It wasn't an easy sum to do,
But that's what it is," said Pooh, said he.
"That's what it is," said Pooh.

"Let's look for dragons," I said to Pooh.
"Yes, let's," said Pooh to Me.
We crossed the river and found a few-
"Yes, those are dragons all right," said Pooh.
"As soon as I saw their beaks I knew.
That's what they are," said Pooh, said he.
"That's what they are," said Pooh.

"Let's frighten the dragons," I said to Pooh.
"That's right," said Pooh to Me.
"I'm not afraid," I said to Pooh,
And I held his paw and I shouted "Shoo!
Silly old dragons!"- and off they flew.

"I wasn't afraid," said Pooh, said he,
"I'm never afraid with you."

So wherever I am, there's always Pooh,
There's always Pooh and Me.
"What would I do?" I said to Pooh,
"If it wasn't for you," and Pooh said: "True,
It isn't much fun for One, but Two,
Can stick together, says Pooh, says he. "That's how it is," says Pooh.
Thanks for the invite. Congratulations on your first book. Welcome to world of authors.
