About me4/10/09- Changed my LT name from The_Library_Nook to KellReader.
Late twenties primary school teacher from the UK. I love reading and buying books!
I have embarked on the 50 book challenge
http://www.librarything.com/topic/52799
and the 999 challenge
http://www.librarything.com/topic/53117
About my libraryMy library consists entirely of books that I own and are in my possession. When Collections arrives I will look into using it as a means to keep track of books I have read but do not own. I also starting to put in my collection of teaching books but this is a slow process!
I don't usually write detailed or long reviews but I am starting to try and write a few sentences at least. These reviews are mainly for me to remind myself of my general impressions of a book.

The website for Daunt Books is: http://www.dauntbooks.co.uk, and you'll find their addresses there, as well as opening hours.
There are a few branches: I know the one in Holland Park, but there are also branches in Belsize Park, Chelsea, Hampstead and the original on Marylebone High Street.
Enjoy!

Where abouts in the Country do you live? I live in Lincolnshire - we had loads of snow yesterday, but the ice was more of a problem today than anything. Even the cats didn't want to go outside!

I want to give you the name of the remainder bookstore that I mentioned- it is called BMV and there are three branches in Toronto Canada I must admit that the term remainder bookstore is not used often- It does describe the store more than used bookstore. I can find new paperbacks at half price and new hard cover books at equally low prices. It never occurred to me that reviewers would sell the books that they were given to read and review. I would have saved them!
