About me4/10/09- Changed my LT name from The_Library_Nook to KellReader.

Late twenties primary school teacher from the UK. I love reading and buying books!

I have embarked on the 50 book challenge
http://www.librarything.com/topic/52799

and the 999 challenge
http://www.librarything.com/topic/53117

About my libraryMy library consists entirely of books that I own and are in my possession. When Collections arrives I will look into using it as a means to keep track of books I have read but do not own. I also starting to put in my collection of teaching books but this is a slow process!
I don't usually write detailed or long reviews but I am starting to try and write a few sentences at least. These reviews are mainly for me to remind myself of my general impressions of a book.

I will be looking for it!
No worries, I'm happy to oblige.

I hope you enjoyed your time in London.

Hello,

The website for Daunt Books is: http://www.dauntbooks.co.uk, and you'll find their addresses there, as well as opening hours.
There are a few branches: I know the one in Holland Park, but there are also branches in Belsize Park, Chelsea, Hampstead and the original on Marylebone High Street.

Enjoy!
Thanks!
I just sent an invitation to be friends. And if you didn't know, on BCF I go by the name of SaraPepparkaka!
And that depends when I start reading it. It sometimes almost depresses me the number of books I have that I can't read all at the same time. I don't like starting another book until I've finished the one I'm reading, and I hate giving up on a book. I haven't done that for years. Having said that, some of my books are tagged "currently reading" and have been showing that for a while now...!
According to your blog you are reading Brave New World - is that the case. Strangely, I mooched it recently and it arrived in the post today. It's one I've had on my list to mooch for ages, so I'm pleased it's finally come. You'll have to let me know what you think of it.
Good point! STALKER!
Ha, I'm stalking you now. Just checked out your book site on blogger. I like it - a lot.

Where abouts in the Country do you live? I live in Lincolnshire - we had loads of snow yesterday, but the ice was more of a problem today than anything. Even the cats didn't want to go outside!
Aha - it all becomes clearer now! I did wonder if that was the case. Nice to 'meet' you anyway. Looks like you've been on a learning curve recently with the books you've been adding!

Sorry, I just assume everyone is as much of an LT addict as me and has to check in all the time ;-) (They seem to be having the warehouse sales more often now, and esp. in the run-up to Christmas - one this weekend just gone, and there's another on 6 Dec... they are just round the corner from me - literally walking distance - so it is way too tempting.)
I just saw your comment on the Galloway and Porter page and twigged that you are another Cambridge-dweller on LT, so I had to come by and wave at you - hello!

There's another warehouse sale on tomorrow, btw... in no way can I justify going but somehow it's just bound to happen.
Just noticed you over in talk declaring your Cambridgeshireness, and then I discover you also have Galloway and Porter listed as a favourite place! I have to try not to go in there too often, it's a dangerous place to be :-)
That's a fair few books that you added today!!
That's a shame! - Hopefully that'll mean you'll be able to do lots of swapping in the future.
Yes LT is wonderful & I notice you've got a tag for RISI - it's great fun there too isn't it?! Fantastic idea for getting those books you'd like to try but not quite sure of.
Hiya - I notice we have only 4 books showing in common here, but I've read a few others on your list too!
Just wandering around and saying hello to people. :)
Hi book.in.a.life :)
Hello and welcome to here!
Hello....it says we only share 1 book!
Hello there and Happy New Year!
waves hello! :)
I feel very, very, very lucky!
Wowzers!! You did loads!!!
ooo ta! I'll have a look at some reviews and let you know.. it's one of those ones that I kind of want to by, just to have the title on my shelf! Is that bad?!!

..I too have really been enjoying whacking my books on, can't wait to do the rest and then starring them up!! ...have a great day tomorrow... think of me bookless at work :( *sulks*
Hey!!! We share a number of books :) (not sure I've registered them yet though!!) ... I was interested in getting this: A Book Addict's Treasury, I see you've partially read it.. is it any good?

xx
Hiya - great collection of books - I am going to pinch one of your tags - the charity book shop one!!
Hello
I want to give you the name of the remainder bookstore that I mentioned- it is called BMV and there are three branches in Toronto Canada I must admit that the term remainder bookstore is not used often- It does describe the store more than used bookstore. I can find new paperbacks at half price and new hard cover books at equally low prices. It never occurred to me that reviewers would sell the books that they were given to read and review. I would have saved them!
