About meI'm a life model on staff at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. Due to the seasonal nature of the work, I'm also a freelance writer and dealer in (as well as collector of) rare books, antiques, coins, stamps and art.

About my libraryMy tastes are eclectic, which is reflected in my ever-expanding library. As a board member of the Richmond, VA. chapters of both GLSEN and PFLAG, a portion of my holdings will always deal with LGBTI concerns.
Since I'm a writer myself, I count a number of authors and playwrights among my circle and am fortunate to own a number of unpublished manuscripts, which compliments my first editions and unedited reading copies. Those three subdivisons constitute roughly half my collection.
The roster shown here is perhaps 40% of the total collection. The balance is in storage in Hartford, CT., awaiting the right $1000 or so to retieve them.

Hi, I just joined this site. I noticed that you're interested in parenting books. Have you read The Ultimate Guide for Stay at Home Parents? Here's a link: http://www.amazon.com/Ultimate-Guide-Stay-at-home-parents-Robert-Koger/dp/098156...
I see you're on Library Thing, now. Our home library has been on the system for several months now but I'm stull working on assinging tags. We have about 3,400 books and George can't stop buying them.

You might want to look into http://www.bookmooch.com/. It's a site where members can exchange books with each other for only the cost of postage.
