About me I am a Georgia boy, born in Dodge County, graduated from Jordan High School in Columbus, and West Georgia College in Carrollton. I have lived in Japan and Thailand, and have traveled extensively. I currently live in my home state, Georgia, but I was residing on the island of Phuket, Thailand when the December 26, 2004 tsunami rolled ashore and impacted the lives of millions.
That fateful morning as I brewed my morning tea, the glass doors on my beach front home began to rattle furiously yet the sea was calm, and the palm fronds limp. It was a beautiful morning. I did not foresee the hell that would follow a couple of hours later. I am a writer, public speaker, and humorist. I have studied psychic phenomena and spiritualism for many years, and I currently have three novels in print: Beyond The Shadow Of Death, Return To Zero, and Standup Comedian. Return To Zero is a sequel to Beyond The Shadow of Death.
The tsunami story forms a part of my novel, Standup Comedian, which takes the reader from rural South Georgia to the Indian Sub-continent, Southeast Asia, Japan, Australia, Central America, and back again.
I switched from writing short stories to novels a few years back. As a public speaker and spiritual teacher I got the idea that self-help type books would be a lot more fun if the principles were weaved into the pages of a novel, not as a commercial but rather as a thread in the fabric. Judging by the feedback my idea appears to be sound.
