About meI am a photographer and aspiring art teacher. Photography, art, theatre, film, literature, travel, philosophy, politics are among my many interests. I have a partner and live in Auckland City.

About my libraryI have a passion for photo-books. I enjoy books on photographic theory and history and art history. Susan Sontag and John Berger are two of my favourite authors.

My fiction collection includes many classics, the complete works of Agatha Christie and most of Jeffery Deaver's work. I am a big fan of crime fiction, both old and new. Jeffery Archer and Ken Follett are two old favourites. Gay fiction also features prominently; I particularly enjoy the work of Edmund White and David Leavitt. Leaves of Grass by Walt Whitman is one of my favourite books.

I buy far more books than I should. I class myself as a shopaholic despite the fact I rarely shop for anything else.
