Just catching up with last weeks 'What are you reading now?' thread - Nicholas Sparks made you cry too, huh? I'm so glad to find someone else who can't see by the end of his books! Oh, and just scrolling down your profile - yes, seagulls are evil. Flocks of seagulls/pigeons, more so. A seagull pooed on my coat by the river the other day, and when I was at uni a flock of pigeons went over and one managed to splatter a poo across the table, on my bag and IN MY HOT CHOCOLATE! Evil.

Hi;
Mark and I have been discussing the possibility of another group read in November and want your input. We have narrowed it down to two books at this point. "The People of the Book" by Geraldine Brooks and "The Thirteenth Tale" by Diane Setterfield. So chat it up with friends or us and let us know if you are up for it and what you think. Probably the same plan as with "Pillars of the Earth" which seemed to work out perfectly for almost all of us.
Think it over and give one of us a shout.

Me too and I hate when people don’t respect that your books are important to you and although folding a page down or whatever might not mean anything to them that it does to you. It annoys me when people think im being funny about my books coz I bet they wouldn’t like it if I messed up something important to them.
Thank you hun *hugs* he is pretty bad at the minute but hes better today than yesterday so I just hope he keeps getting better now.
Yeah I know! And even though you do know people on there they’ve got all these new things to talk about and inside jokes its all very confusing. I made a goodreads account earlier I may very well get addicted to that as well im not done sorting out my profile yet though theres still some stuff I want to tweek.
Lmao ‘‘the quickest way to shut him up’’ haha! Oh you do make me laugh! Oh I hate that my ex bf would never let me get off the phone unless I said I love you and sometimes it was just inappropriate you know? But he’d strop about it until I said it *rolls eyes* Seems like hes pretty insecure about your relationship if he keeps needing your reassurance that everythings good between you two. Yeah I see what your saying, if your not happy though then it seems that you’ve got two options you either tell him what annoys you and that everythings not ok and hurt him or break up and hurt him, the only plus with telling him how you feel is that theres a chance that you two could work it out, but if you don’t feel the same about him then *shrugs* Its probably not going to make any difference. But one thing I do know is lately whenever we talk hes always done something to upset or annoy you and you cant keep sparing his feelings and taking all the flak coz it cant be good for you at all.

Aww thanks Rach *gets all teary eyed* It was a really hard really bad time and I don’t really like talking about it im a lot stronger and a completely different person now and its all in the past so I try not to think about it or bring it into my future, I’ll probably tell you bits and pieces of what happened over time if im in a situation where I need to tell you something but for now id rather forget about it. Which brings me on to my next topic that I really want a change to just start fresh with everything you know? Do you ever feel like that? I feel a bit like Macy in the truth about forever I just want to forget the past and go out and make some new friends and things because my friends were all around when I was going through that hard time there always so careful around me and we always talk about ‘‘how I feel’’ and what happened and its just not fun to hang around with them anymore. I feel like screaming ‘‘im still me that was ages ago I just want to hang out and have fun!’’ That’s why I like talking to you so much because its just fun and easy and its not like your judging me making sure im ok every time I speak. So I don’t know at the minute I just feel really weird like I just want to pack up and go somewhere new meet new people and things.
Lmao a break out is never good especially when lifes sucking ass as it is spots only add to the stress *le sigh*

Hale has a graphic novel telling of the story of Rapunzel where Rapunzel is a wild child using her hair as a lasso to save the rear of Jack (as in and the Beanstalk). It's the only book by her I've read, but it was fun and I was able to go hear her talk about it (so I know there will be sequels). Happy reading!!

Yeah its in my personality to want most what I cant have so banning myself from buying books is never a good idea :P
Tut you should have said look dad its you or the cat and frankly I choose the cat! After him being around for a few days im sure the cat cuteness would woo over your mum and sister too ;)
Gah I know I lent a book to my aunty once and her dog ripped it up she said sorry but she was all cool about it not thinking it was that much of a big deal, but it really was to me, people think I act really over the top with my books but to me they mean a lot. The thing with dogs and kids ripping up your books though is you cant have a go at them about it else you look mean seems ‘‘they don’t know any better’’ grrr!
Yeah fingers crossed! My granddads actually been took into hospital again tonight my dads with him now, I hope everything’s ok my dad doesn’t usually go unless he’s pretty bad coz hes there so frequently *worrys*
Hehe I don’t blame you if you just end up deleting your account, it was really sweet of naureen to email you though. Hopefully no one will notice and if they do and you want to talk to said person who emails you could just explain that you’d like to keep in touch but you really cant be bothered with the lex. Yeah that’s exactly what I found, theres loads of little groups that everyones part of now, and one group doesn’t talk to another group for some reason and so on grrr most annoying if I went back on now id feel like the new kid at school.
Oh no more trouble in paradise hey? I don’t like birthday cake either seems im not a big fan of jam myself and I just find birthday cakes gross with the thick icing and them being sickly sweet. That’s pretty bad that he *made* you eat some and then still continued to be annoying about it. I really hope things work out with you and your bf soon hun coz you don’t sound to happy whenever you mention him at the minute.
OMG another twins of oddness moment! I cant swallow tablets either, well I can but only little ones and even then it takes me a good few attempts because my throat just closes up coz I get scared im going to choke or something, but I didn’t start taking tablets until a year or two ago because I *had* to start taking them because I was suffering with a bad case of depression and anxiety and they didn’t do the tablets in medicine form. I still suffer from anxiety and panic attacks now because I was in an abusive relationship so I find it hard to be in crowds and to sometimes just go out in general coz I have such bad panic attacks and absolutely hate having them in public, I hardly drive now as well for fear of getting one and I don’t like going to places alone in case I have one. Anyway that’s a different long long story so getting back on topic I hope your feeling better now hun, seems like you had a pretty crappy weekend.
Haha I know further proof that were very strange people :P

Lol poor you I always find when I *cant* but any more books is the time when I want to buy them most and I find loads of good new books to read! Lets hope you can last the two weeks.
Aww I would have robbed off with him and kept him as a secret pet in my room!
I know, I think they get it in October or something like that over the pond but we have to wait till January ugh. I think im going to pick up storm glass tonight, im not sure though seems my friends let me a book so I might read that next so I can give it back to her asap. I don’t like hoarding books ive lent for too long coz I know if it was me I’d want my book back after a few weeks!
Yeah my granddad whos alive is always in and out of hospital at the moment my rentals don’t even tell me when he’s in or out now seems he’s in there that much and its upsetting.
Hehe yeah I remember her she annoyed me soooo much axlrose was all she ever banged on about, never anything else, never any intelligent input in the threads and it really annoyed me especially because I don’t see what her obsession with the guys all about. Remember when we got told off for saying oh my god or something stupid like that? The thing is the person wasn’t even offended by it she just didn’t think it was ‘‘appropriate’’ as she told me in a pm, I mean id feel bad if it offended someone but it didn’t so it was pointless bringing it up and reporting it. Gah I also find some of the younger girls Chloe and Maddy really clickey especially Maddy I remember reading a comment she left on the what are you reading thread when someone said ink exchange was good she was like omg how can you like that it was so bad the most boring book ive ever read seriously don’t read it ( to the person who wanted to know if it was good) it really wasn’t good, its like their opinions are the only ones that matter or something, but yeah I know that axlrose girl was involved with these hate sites as well and gah its just so annoying being on the lex these days.
Oooh August 20th? Not too long then I was thinking we should arrange to do something sometime after you get your results for either a celebration your going to warwick get together or an ok it doesn’t matter lets get together anyway and go buy a load of books for some book comfort meeting.
Yeah its def worth keeping, its really good I think you’ll enjoy it :)
So how was your weekend? I actually managed to get a really good nights sleep at my bfs which I found odd considering I find it hard to sleep there normally, and I had a fairly good night sleep last night so im hoping the insomnia period is over!

Weirdly enough I noticed that on amazon storm glass has gone back to being available for pre-order so I don’t know what happened there maybe they got a delivery of them sold a few then realised that it wasn’t due out yet or something *shrugs* but either way im glad ive got my copy early! Tut tut brought more books did you Rach? I wish our libraries were as good as some of the American ones, there suppose to be huge with large selections of different types of books there normally pretty good at getting new books in as soon as there out as well, that would save us a LOT of money. Gah I find more and more reasons to move to America every day!
Haha how did he get into your house? My neighbour a few doors down has got quite a few cats they used to stroll into our garden and I got to pet them all the time until we got my dog and now they avoid the place like the plaque!
Yeah I cant see there being a sequel to a certain slant of light, with Helen and James now gone but I really would love to know if Jenny really was pregnant and what happens between her and Billy next. Yeah I want the fetch pretty bad but it’s a bit expensive atm with it only being out in hardcover I hope it comes out in paperback soon. Oh random but I’ve just remembered so ill say now before I forget in my copy of storm glass it says the next book sea glass wont be out for us until January! I’m fairly gutted seems I think they get it later this year over the pond, why oh why must we wait for everything!!! I was having a quick flick through and I saw Yelena and Leifs names mentioned a fair bit so im most excited to read it. Sorry I’ve just realised this is probably not helping your urge to read it at all, so onto other things!
Aw that’s not good hun its horrible watching people you love just generally get older and not be able to do what they used to do.
Oh god I did it was a nightmare! Turns out that my computer was getting overheated with all the hot weather and it being on 24/7 and also my right click on my mouse broke so I had to go and buy a new one. Gah that’s what im scared of going online and feeling guilty about leaving with everyone saying oh no stay! I’m pretty glad I didn’t go on that night though seems im fairly certain I don’t want to go on it anymore seems I was lurking a moment ago and somethings kicked off in the teenage thread something to do with a group of girls making a hate site on Chloe, Logan and Maddy or something like that so now them three have joined randomness and said they wont be going on the teenage thread anymore, its just gotten so clickey on there and childish with all the fallings out its like being back at school so I cant be bothered with all that. Yes we must! Even if you don’t end up going to Warwick or whatever we should still meet up and hang out from time to time seems even now were not that far away from each other, and a road trip to the mighty stones is in order me thinks ;) When do you get your exam results hun?

Haha I know I was like, What?! I must buy it! It arrived the other day but ive got quite the OCD twitch seems LT doesn’t seem to have the right cover for it, although my computer was playing up on me when I was trying to look for the UK cover and I didn’t get chance to have a proper mooch so ill have another look in a mo.
Yeah I do occasionally lie on my left side but most of the time im most comfy on my right :P Lol we are! Were like twins of oddness.
Ah I know insects are incredibly irksome things, I gave up in the end last night and just opened my window because I was *that* hot. Luckily after that I fell asleep pretty much straight away and woke up and found no creepy crawlies in my room so I think I was spared, im feeling quite courageous and may leave the window open again tonight seems last night I was safe to my knowledge…

Oh yeah I recall you adding them to your LT now, im quite intrigued by this scandal of the season I may have to add it to my wishlist. I finished a certain slant of light and LOVED it! It’s such a beautiful and original book I found the start a tad slow but once Helen possessed Jennys body I loved it, one thing im dying to know though is if Jenny really was pregnant and whats going to happen with her the baby and Billy now that James and Helen have gone? I wonder how her parents would react as well seems their crazy religious, I think now that her dads left her mum though her mum will be less strict with her. So anyway now im most eager to get my hands on Laura Whitcombs new book.

Ah well as you probably noticed I didn’t go onto the lex to say my goodbyes in the end seems my computer was playing up something awful, ill really have to make the time to do that soon. Yeah the lex does seem a tad young now and only fun really for the twihards I much prefer LT and YAR’s however it was all good at the time else I wouldn’t have found out about a ton of great books ive read and I wouldn’t have *met* you! :)
Lol yeah I love Macy and Wes, I loved the ending of the book and the message behind the story too, I plan on re-reading all of Sarah Dessens books plus her two new ones this summer seems I love them for summer reads, in fact I may start just listen next seems that’s oddly the only Dessen book I cant remember that well, im not entirely sure ive even read it the story sounds familiar but my copys pretty perfect so I don’t know if im mistaking it for another book, ah well I guess ill find out soon enough when I start it. This is why I started keeping my book journal because it was so hard to remember what I read and hadn’t read that id often buy a book id already read before *le sigh* the woes of being a book addict!

Rach! OMG! Have I got news for you! Here I was just mooching on amazon and what did I see had come in stock on my wishlist? Only bloody storm glass!!! I ordered it straight away and it will be here TOMORROW! *does wild happy dance* I also may have brought two other books along with it, so ill be off to confession soon.
Lol do you? I tend to sleep curled up in a ball too, normally on my right side. Ah we have such odd things in common! Maybe because were both a tad strange hehe.
I swear moths are evil I hate them with a passion in fact now ive come to think of it I don’t like most things with wings. I had a moth problem last night I was reading in my mum and dads room before bed coz they were downstairs watching tv and I wanted to leave my window open with the light off so my room would be cool to help me sleep, so anywho there I was reading in the rentals room and a huge beast of a moth comes and lands on my book, I threw the book across the room and legged it out of there, luckily there was no damage to my poor book, but god damn that moth for making me throw my beloved book! Isaac? That’s such a great cat name, I love that! Yeah I adore cats I wish I could have one of my own but my mum hates them and weve got the dog so I have to make do with cooing over my friends cats. Have you got any pets?
Yeah I still love Seth but I find Niall much more fanciable because he sounds more like my type than Seth. Which books did you borrow from the library?
I hope so Smiths can be pretty good with things like that so I hope so, if not I may just have to buy city of bones again and get the American covers for the other two and sell my original copy of city of bones on ebay or something.
My brother was really young when my granddad died it broke my heart because he was so young he didn’t understand what cancer was he just thought it was a bad cough seems we told him it was lung cancer so when my grandad died and he used to get a cold and start coughing he’d get really upset and think he was going to go away like granddad bless him it took us ages to try to get him to understand the difference. I think that’s why ive never been tempted to smoke or anything coz I saw what it did to my granddad and my family.
Yay! I cant wait for you to read it, I started reading a certain slant of light last night I didn’t get very far with it though seems I was knackered and actually managed to get to sleep :D but I plan on reading more tonight seems im vair intrigued.

Lol oh yes don’t I know it! At least now our book craziness is stretched to a variety of books instead of just twilight.
I have a pretty thin quilt as well, my mum changes them for each season at winter I have a thick snugly quilt, a medium one for spring and autumn then a uber thin one for summer. Gah! I know what you mean I cant leave my window open at night either for fear of letting bugs in especially moths *shudders* they get particularly drawn to my room seems I have the light on reading. I hate creepy crawlies I also hate birds and fish with a passion especially pigeons, seagulls and ravens (ever since the house of night) I cant say im much of an animal lover at all really I think theres far more animals I don’t like than ones I do with the exception of horses, cats and dogs although I cant say I love all dogs either but I feel like I should add them to my list seems I love my own dog to bits but other peoples im not so fussed about.
Ah well seems im off today I decided to stay up all last night reading ink exchange and I loved it! I think I might actually like Niall a tiny bit more than Seth and towards the end I even ended up liking Irial a bit, im now most eager to read fragile eternity but im going to put it off for a bit because then there’ll be no more faerie awesomeness for a while :|
I know! I was hoping it might just be amazon but the city of glass covers the American one on the stones website as well so I take it there just bringing it out as the American cover now. I’m so so annoyed about it its not even like they look similar like the British and American house of night books there completely different!!! WHY do they do this to us?!
Lol yeah the Jacko craze was a bit passed our time so we just remember him as the strange neverland man hehe.
Oh really? I know my granddad died of lung cancer when I was 13 but it doesn’t upset me so much that I cant read books or watch films about people with cancer now so much times passed but its all still so raw with my bf that I don’t want to risk upsetting him. Yes read my sisters keeper soon! Infact *lightbulb moment* I think you know whats coming ;) lets make it your next read that book challenge read! :D

I didn’t nap in the end but I got a really really good nights sleep Friday, but now its back to the old insomnia ways :| I’ve been really hot lately as well which doesn’t help when your trying to sleep, apparently Brittans going to have a heat wave next week so I wont be looking forward to that if my insomnias still in tact.
Me too I thought it was interesting that Hope never had her own voice that we only knew her through Jessica, I was worried she might not be as awesome as JD made out but she seems cool. I hope theres more of her in the next books.

Oh I was browsing on amazon and I went into full on spaz mode because for the mortal instrument series its now coming up the American covers! While my city of bones is the English cover so if there bringing these out as the new covers they wont match! Arghhh! I noticed you brought city of ashes the other day which cover did you get? I *hate* it when they do this even though I do like the American covers better.
Yeah I love the brothers grim I loved their stories when I was younger which is why im uber excited to read SH’s books!
God I know, I was pretty shocked and sad about MJ’s death at first but now with it being on the news all the time and things its really annoying me its almost as crazy as when princess Diana died I remember being pretty young and coming home from school and wanting to watch my kids tv but it got took off for like a week because it was just showing princess Diana stuff all the time, boy was I annoyed! Me my brother and bf decided to play a tribute to MJ on guitar hero we done a few of his songs in memory of him (yes were that cheesy!)
Sounds fun me dear, I’ve spent most of my weekend running around trying to find someone to watch my sisters keeper with me its proving to be quite an impossible task my one friend whos read the book is skint for the time being and cant afford to go see it just yet, my other friends want to read the book before they see it and my bf I don’t want to ask to go because his nan died of cancer not that long ago and I don’t want to get him to go with me coz I know the film will most likely upset him *le sigh* I wouldn’t mind but I REALLY want to see it, may have to go on my own and be a billy no mates at this rate!
Ooooh you've read evernight what did you think to it? You know I actually liked Bartholomew (sp?) more than Lucas :S

I might have to keep mine signed in all the time from now on seems I had a huge anxiety attack when I couldn’t figure out why LT wasn’t letting me sign on, I never want to go through that again!
Ah I know this lack of sleep thing is driving me insane! I didn’t sleep again last night and im so so tired today luckily its my day off so I may go take a nap at some point and will spend the rest of the day doing very little. I hope this insomnia thing gets nipped in the bud soon seems I find it very hard to read when im tired.
I’m so glad you liked them isn’t JD just awesome?! I finished second helpings and I think I liked it even more than sloppy firsts! I always wondered what Hope was like coz in sloppy we only ever get to hear about what Jess thinks about her but we did get to meet her for a little bit at the end of seconds and she seems rather cool :) I’m now in a dilemma whether to read charmed thirds next or ink exchange hmmm. Lmao Pepe is awesome! oh yes I loved him as the geek and black Elvis haha! Yeah the Shannon Hale books seem like a good way to go I see you’ve read the book of a thousand days was it as good as princess academy? Gah I still really want to read princess academy too my sleep starved brain cant cope with all these options!
Only 7 books you say? That’s not too bad I thought there were about 10, I’m very tempted to pick up one of these books on my next book spree! Or maybe see if they have them in the library hmm…

At last! I have signed in after my like 50th attempt! I was trying to figure out why LT wouldn’t let me sign in and eventually realised that I’d put in my x.Jessica-louise.x username instead of my LT one *slaps head* I’ve been doing things like this all day due to lack of sleep last night. I swear im getting insomnia I haven’t slept properly for weeks and I have no idea why *sighs* anyway enough with the ramblings and on to the message!
Yes I know! It gives us all such a bad name, my brother thinks im uber cheesy for liking twilight seems all the girls who like it in his year are of the crazed fan girl variety :| girls like that actually make me ashamed to say I like twilight seems it comes with such a cheesy image now.

Theres so many films coming out that I want to go watch I still haven’t gone with my bf to see angels and demons even though he keeps asking me to, I will really have to get round to that. Yeah def read my sisters keeper before you see the film, god I cant wait im pretty excited because its directed by the guy who done the notebook. I cant wait for you to read the book its one of the best books ive ever read it broke my heart.

It’s sad really because I really do love those books and nothing will take away how great I thought they were when I read them, but for now im trying to keep a safe distance away from all the crazy twilightness at least until November when I’ll allow myself to get a little bit excited to see new moon. Gah I hate how excited I am for new moon I feel like such a clichéd fan girl!
Hmm well if its as good as the film then ill have to add it to the TBB list! I really did love the film.
Ah you have the annoyance of the younger sibling wondering in and out of your room too do you? That’s put me and my bf in a few awkward situations a few times *coughs* that’s also why I like to sleep round my bfs rather than mine he’s got two older brothers one that’s left home and another whos always at his gfs place so we get some peace and quite. Yeah ive spoke to my mum about when a bfs annoyed me before and that was a big mistake as then she picked up on when he was annoying me and ended up not liking him which was awkward when we were together still and he used to come round. Or they’ll either stick up for your bf and say your just being sensitive which isn’t good either because then you’ll feel like crap, so all in all maybe its best to discuss these kinda things just with your girlfriends!
Ah ok well seems your already in the middle of a book and have library books I will reserve sloppy firsts until after you’ve read those seems library books have gota take priority seems they’ve got to go back.
Oooh I know! It suddenly hit me half way through the book that Henry never visits Clare any older than 43 and I was like why only up until 43? and then it occurred to me that he might…*sobs* die! :’( I know what you mean with that! As much as I loved Henry I never got all doe eyed about him because I watched the trailer and Eric Bana was Henry in my head and I just couldn’t get all hyped up over an older guy who I don’t find attractive. I’m pretty gutted really that they took that away from me :|
Aww well if it makes you feel better to apologise then feel free, I just don’t want you feeling like you *have* to or worry that if you don’t reply for a day or two that im going to take the hump about it. Hehe I don’t even mind if you *are* ignoring me that day or are too tired to reply everyone has days like that so its totally understandable.

Oh that’s one of the great things about summer you can catch up on all the tv and films you’ve wanted to watch but haven’t then your all caught up ready for the next series. My dad loves lost ive only ever watched a few episodes the ones I have watched have been vair interesting I just forget all about watching the next episode and then end up missing them.
Yes watch stardust! Have you seen the notebook yet? I’ve been in quite a film mood lately I think I need a day at the cinema soon with one of my girlfriends especially seems the my sisters keeper movie comes out in a few days and it actually looks really good! *happy dances*

Hehe yeah you’ve got a point there! I’m sure most hardcore twilight fans will be most disappointed when they start Wuthering heights and realise it has no real relation to twilight at all. Gah this twilight thing is all getting a bit too much, im starting to get sick of the sight of it its like chocolate in small doses its great and you think wow it would be great to eat this all the time but then when that theories put into practise you get really really sick of it.
Oh I love the stardust movie! It’s pretty funny in places, I haven’t read the book I didn’t even realise it was based on a book until after I watched the film, how are they different? Is the book any good? What made me think of Clare Danes for Donia was when she was described as having white hair white skin and blue lips with her being a winter girl and to have that glow about her it made me think of Clare Danes glowing as the star, and when shes got her glamour on shes suppose to have light blonde hair, ah don’t worry I always forget what characters are suppose to look like or sometimes its so far into a story until their described properly that ive already got my own character in my head the only reason I remember Donias appearance is because of the whole glowing thing and it reminding me of stardust!
Lol Pierce Brosnan's lack of any singing ability is what makes mama mia even more funny! I don’t think it was suppose to imply that he could sing but rather just another thing to laugh about. What does your family think of your bf do they notice when things like that annoy you? At least you two got to have a giggle after the film so it wasn’t all bad.

Ah yes in my borders we have a large table devoted to twilight with the books, dvd and movie companion. It hasn’t got any other vamp books on though or Wuthering heights…Really that’s shocking! Suppose it’s a good way to get young folk to read the classics though by bringing twilight into it!
Oh yeah I never thought of that before maybe the link between Kellan and Teddy is from Kellan playing Emmett and being all cuddly and teddy like. That makes sense. Ah I know! I’ve had that too, as soon as someone says that they imagine a character to look like an actor and it fits in my head that’s it they get the part of that character in my head from then on, like Donia from wicked lovely I really imagine her to look like a blonde Clare Danes like how she looked in stardust (if you’ve seen that film)
Yeah some things you can just laugh at yourself about like me being so short, but comments about the way you look and things your into can sometimes hurt especially if its brought up a lot. I had a ‘‘friend’’ like that too, she was always making comments about how I look and she’d tell me how to wear my hair to school and things and if I didn’t do my hair the way she wanted she wouldn’t talk to me for the rest of the day, she was incredibly odd and has actually since we left school become bulimic so its clear shes got issues with how she looks and at the time took them out on me. But yeah to some people they might think of it as joking around but when you have to hear about how crap you look or how rubbish your taste is all the time it can really get you down.
Oooh yay for your end of exam book spree! And am I right in thinking that there all finished with today? *happy dances* which books did you order off amazon? I might have had another slip up and ordered yet more books from amazon earlier which will be here tomorrow! I got a few fantasy books, some from the list of books that have come out this month from YAR’s and another book called the season which sounds a bit like another the luxe but yes they will be appearing on my profile shortly. I’m now all done with the hairdressing compotation for the time being even though it was a lot of fun im glad its over because its really interfered with my reading with working late! *grumbles* but alas that’s now all done with and so are your exams and now we can get some uber reading done! :D
As for the time travellers wife I’m now about half way through and enjoying it a lot hopefully ill be done with that by the end of this weekend although I will be pretty busy with going to my bfs, work and it being my brothers birthday.

Yeah tis pretty funny when their clueless members of staff, ive heard a few people ask for a reccy on what to read after twilight and if I was less shy id swoop in and name them a long list of books but alas I am and have left it up to the clueless sales assistants to point them over to the best sellers. The people at my library are a lot better than some of the people in stones. Oh yeah that would be a great idea instant back up of amazon recommendations for if we haven’t read what they’ve read!
Ah I know I know *sniffles* But if Liz cant have Will Teddy would make a nice husband for her, I think he’d understand with the baby and everything that happened with Will as well if she were to tell him. I always imagine Teddy to look a bit like Kellan Lutz with the blonde hair…I’ve got into the habit lately of casting movie stars as the characters from books im reading in my head, I have no idea why.

Haha well I started it I haven’t read much because I was busy with the hair dressing comp last night and will be tomorrow as well but what ive read so far I like a lot and have got used to all the time jumping around and things. Thanks hun :) I’d love it if we got into the finals again seems as I didn’t get to go to London last time it would be great to go this time, but if not its been really fun to do it all anyway and the pics look good in the shop so its all worth it!
Ah I know the amount of times Ive heard people ask for recommendations though! I’ve heard them tell the sales person what they like and what would they recommend for them to read and they just look really baffled and are like ‘‘Oh well these are the best sellers at the minute’’ and lead them over to that direction, because we both read a wide range of books I think we’d be really good working in stones or the library we’d probably have a good suggestion for near enough anyone.
Oooh lucky that sounds nice. I still really want to go to Warwick castle I might have to sort out an outing there for in the summer.

Yeah reading at my bfs does not sit well. When I first started sleeping round his we went shopping one day and I ended up buying a book then we went back to his and I started reading it and it was really good I couldn’t put it down so I spent most of the night reading and we had a really big argument about it because we were suppose to be spending time together so now I rarely bring a book around to read at his because I cant just read a bit before bed like a normal person I get rather carried away lol.
Oh well that’s an improvement at least, did you say anything to him about it or did he just kinda get that you weren’t happy about it?
Hehe im not going to scold you for buying FE seems as I knew it was coming seems you’ve read the others plus you deserve a bit of book time with your exams and all. I still haven’t brought anything! I was very sensible earlier I fancy reading something romantic so I was having a look around the library and was thinking of getting out a Nicholas Sparks book but then noticed on a shelf the time travellers wife so I didn’t take anything out in the end and will now finally get round to reading my copy tonight! That will be one book I really want to get read this summer off the list! Did you get untamed in the end? I think when I have some extra money im going to replace my copies as well.
Yeah there are so many good nominations already for this month, I like the sound of that the forest of hands and teeth too. I don’t know what im going to vote for to read because I want to read and discuss all of them!

Oh the hairdressing competition is much much fun! It’s a competition open to all UK hairdressers where you basically have to take pics of hairstyles you’ve done and the winning salon gets £1000 spending money for the shop and the stylist who does the best hair design also wins £1000 we entered last year and got into the final in London and we came 4th so were entering again! But yeah it’s a lot of fun but very tiring! I’m there till about 9 most nights because we shut the shop up anytime after half 4, 5 each day then the models come in and we have to style their hair which can take up to 3 hours depending on what were doing with it and then the photographer has to take pics we need about 10 pics in total so its taking a few days :| luckily were not doing it over the weekend seems the photographer weve been usings off so ive got the weekend off from that now :) But yeah ive been so tired working from 9 till 9 so ive literally just worked, ate and slept! Yeah most people I’ve spoke to who work in bookshops don’t seem to have a clue what a book is! Although there have been a few who seem to love books one girl recommended me the notebook and another the vampire academy series :)

Yeah the reviews for demons lexicon have been really good as well. Its going to be a trilogy so ill be excited for that if its good! I nominated it to be the July book club read on YAR’s seems it’s a new book and I’d like to get people talking about it, the other suggestions for this month are really good as well storm glass and another fantasy book that sounds highly awesome.
Yeah I just hope the series doesn’t drag on as some tend to, hopefully they’ll be just as awesome as Rose’s books and we’ll have lots of Dimitri moments that is if hes alive and all *sniffs*

Hey Rach, sorry for the late reply AGAIN! I’ve worked late the last two nights doing this photo shoot thing for this hairdressing competition, I’ve literally come straight home and gone to bed I haven’t even read! I’m so glad it was my day off today so I got to catch up on some Z’s, go on this and read :)
Ulgh yeah they do I don’t know how people sit around in them, even when I go to my friends or my bfs I pack my joggers and change into them to lounge around in when I get there.

Yeah me neither! I’m always in trackie bottoms or even PJ bottoms with a vest top most the time espesh if im just sitting around the house, my mum, dad and brother will sit around the house in jeans and stuff but I cant do that I find it so uncomfy so when I get in from work I’ll just throw my trackies on or something.

It’s weird theres the uni bunch who I don’t see much of anymore because im not at uni and then theres my friends from school who I didn’t see much of anyway seems their all off doing their own thing and are nearly always too busy to meet up and do something and with falling out with my best friend im feeling kinda lonely and down atm so im glad ive got you to talk to for girly chats :)
That sounds like a great back up plan! I’ve actually been thinking about trying to get a part time job at stones or a library myself seems I do part time at the hairdressers. I really think I’d love it whenever I go into the big library in town all they seem to be doing is sitting at the reception desk reading! You never know we might meet some more book addicts that way too...

Yes! At last! *manic laughter* I have managed to upload a new picture! God it has taken ages! I can now see it on my profile so I hope you can too but yes that is me took on the first day of holiday in the place we stayed modelling the suit of armour that was in our hallway! It’s not the best pic of me in the world but at least its recent. In my other holiday pics I look like a sweaty brown crazed English holiday goer so that one will have to do for the time being. I feel plain compared to the one of you in your fancy dress :|

Aww thanks hun im glad you are :) A lot of my friends have been really snotty about it seems most of them are at uni and now see me as less worthy than them. My bfs been really great about it bless him and ive got a couple of friends who think ive done the right thing and say I look a lot better and im a lot less stressed out. Haha as for the discount haircut I can actually get you discount although I wont be cutting it seems Im not trained to yet but I can curl hair professionally and do lots of up do’s and colour, on nights out and special occasions my friends are always getting me to put extensions in for them and things.
Yeah its good that you didn’t let your ex screw up your opinion on guys, what did your ex do or was he just a general twit? Yes its sooo sweet! I love it! It fits in with the whole high school sweetheart thing its just so innocent and cute.
Me too I also hate it when your feeling down and people are like cheer up! Ahh! that annoys me big time sometimes you don’t want to cheer up you just want a good cry and a chat and THEN you feel better, your not just going to cheer up automatically.

Yeah exactly if you enjoy something and it makes you happy then that’s all that matters. Who cares if its not the most fantastic piece of literature ever written? If a book makes you happy and takes you away from things then it does the job in my opinion! It’s like with my hairdressing and uni, uni made me so unbelievable unhappy and stressed and I felt pressured to stay and get a good career because everyone was saying im a smart girl and should make something of myself but there was no point if I hated it and it made me unhappy where as hairdressing I love! Ok it might not be the most intellectually challenging job in the world and I know some of my friends think me dropping out of uni was a waste but I’d rather do something fun that I enjoy than spend my life doing something that stresses me out.
Ahh yes some of the losers ive been out with when I was younger just because I was thrilled that a guy liked me and I built it all up in my head to be this great romantic relationship when it really wasn’t! Aww you asked him out by writing it on your hand? That’s the sweetest thing I ever heard!
Yeah its maybe not the best idea to get into an argument about all the things he does that annoys you right now with exams seems im sure you don’t want to add extra stress to yourself and him. You never know you might just be hyper sensitive to it at the moment with exam stress so maybe its best to try and hold your tongue a while longer and see how things are in the summer. It irks me when people say oh it’ll be ok about things as well especially when you really don’t feel like it will, it doesn’t help at all even if their only trying to cheer you up.
That sounds like an awesome way to celebrate the end of the exams! Run to the nearest stones buy a ton of books and hole up in your room and read them all in one go!
Lol we seriously do seem to be starting a cult of some sorts! Valek as the chief god? Me likeys! We could have statues of all our book hunks with said book by them to look up our favourite quotes in times when we need guidance. We should also have one for our favourite heroines as well although their part of the cathedral will possibly not be visited as much due to their statues not being as nice to look at :P We should have a scroll hung up somewhere as well that mystically appears with new book information such as release dates author information and the lark… wow im getting carried away! Lol
Yeah true I don’t know anyone whos read them but ive seen a few people buy them when ive been in stones they must be in high demand so atom felt the need to publish them sooner.

Lol exactly my point! At the end of the day a lot of people like the books we like including some of your other friends so our taste cant be *that* bad seems a lot of other people enjoy our books!
Woah 9 months? You two must both be really shy! So how did you end up getting together? Yeah I think its best to have a chat with him about it coz he might be really upset that hes hurt your feelings when he thought he was just joking around so next time he makes a comment like that I’d just have a chat with him and then hopefully he’ll stop and you can sort it out.
Yeah im feeling a load better now im glad were not at school or uni still together so I don’t have to see her everyday which is a plus.
Hehe I already confessed my sins for now, I’ve really got to try and not buy more books for a while but so many good ones are coming out its going to be awful hard to resist!

Hmm see I can totally empathise with you on that because that would seriously piss me off. Especially because my books mean a lot to me and to comment on everything you like being ‘‘rubbish’’ would make me feel really inferior. I mean fair enough if he doesn’t like what you like but theres no need to bring it up on everything you read and listen to. I personally think you have great taste in books for what its worth! ;)
Yeah I get what you mean because im very much like that im not an incredibly social person and id much rather stay in and have a chat with a close friend/bf than go out to the pub and things so its important that I have a lot in common with someone, and with you going to uni your going to meet so many different people and im sure he is too and then if you do meet someone your more in tune with you have the whole guilt thing of having your bf. But then again if your relationships been really good and you love him can you put your differences past you? When I have doubts about a guy I always think to myself well if he was a friend would I want to be friends with this person? Because when your in a relationship and have feelings for someone then that tends to out way things that you normally wouldn’t put up with.
Yeah I think so too what my bfs said makes a lot more sense than what shes saying and im more likely to trust my bf seems he come to me and told me straight away and was there for me when she avoided me. I’m feeling better about it today theres nothing I can do about it so im just trying to block it from my mind for the time being and get on with things. I’m not talking to my friend and I don’t think I will again after everything so I just need to move on from that now I think for my own sanity!
Hehe I know! I couldn’t read last night because I was so upset but like I say im a lot more optimistic today and I will sit and enjoy my book tonight! I was also hugely cheered up this morning by the arrival of my amazon order *happy dances* and I may have ordered another two books…*blushes* I tend to comfort read/buy when im going through difficult stuff so I figured id treat myself to some more books to cheer myself up, ahh the excuses of an addict!

P.S I was just re-reading through this message and ive realised you sound really similar to a character in one of Sarah Dessens books the truth about forever the girl in that has this super smart bf who always makes her feel stupid and like she has to be perfect to live up to his expectations then they spend the summer apart and she meets these new friends and a new guy who likes her for her, you should give it a read at some point I think you’d relate to it a lot :)

Yeah see I know how he feels about that I hate it when I get into my head that im doing something and then for what ever reason I end up not doing it but then if I were you I would have done the same with not telling him till later for not wanting to ruin the mood. Hehe yeah and seems you say how clever he is im surprised he didn’t notice you didn’t have your stuff with you as well!
That’s not nice him teasing you about the books you read but like you said hopefully its not in a malicious way and he doesn’t realise that it gets to you. I get really annoyed when people mock me for the books I read seems I love my books and it’s a pet hate of mine!

Oh dear we both haven’t had a very good bf related time then since we last spoke! I totally get why you didn’t want to tell him in case you ruined the evening. Was he more upset that you didn’t want to come round or that you didn’t tell him till later? It is really good to vent your feelings out theres always going to be stuff in a relationship you don’t like and if you cant tell your bf them then sometimes you do really need to get them off your chest with a close gf! About the whole you oweing him thing I would be a bit peeved about that at the end of the day you didn’t act maliciously you didn’t want to hurt his feelings and he should get that, But I duno I can see both points of view and maybe he just ment by it that he doesn’t get to spend the night with his lovely gf so you owe it to stop around another night or something? She’s totally avoided me since I got back my bf told me right away although he felt awful for telling me and ruining my chilled out mood he knew if I found out from someone else id feel even worse, but yeah I tried calling her to see what she had to say but nothing im so furious though that if she doesn’t contact me soon then ill be marching around to her house to see what the hell shes playing at.

Aww why did you end up crying hun? Was it just from all the emotion of it being your ball?
I went a bit wild and had a few glasses of wine at dinner on holiday myself! If you cant on holiday when can you? It was lovely and relaxing I completely chilled but I did get a huge addict twitch Thursday I needed LT and my books!
I’m so glad you liked the notebook it is a really lovely story, hopefully you’ll like the film too I know how picky you are but so am I and I loved it so maybe you will too!
My addiction went into overdrive earlier and I just *had* to order some more books off amazon *blushes* You will see them appear shortly on my LT for a nose!

How was your ball did you get much revision done? I got a good amount of reading done whilst I was away. I re-read the study series and the pact which ive wanted to have a re-read of for ages and I finished life as we knew it which was pretty good and I’ve now started rumours! I see you’ve brought more books since I’ve been away *sighs* cant leave you alone for 5 minutes can I? ;)
Hmm sounds interesting I might have to join and have a browse!
Now im back from holiday and its been a week since Ive even been in a bookshop im getting a serious urge to buy a new book even though theres really nothing I need to buy right now. Yeah a few of my friends I tried to stay in contact with but they just changed so much and we had different interests and nothing in common anymore I always emailed them back but over time they haven’t replied back to me which is sad. I figure though that if their true friends they’d bother to stay in touch. Its times like those when you find out who your true friends are.

Yeah tis a dilemma that, Ive found yet another awesome sounding book and luckily its not out till August so I don’t buy it! It’s an old trilogy that’s just been republished in one big book a bit like nightworld its called kissed by an angel heres what it says about it.

I just started reading life as we knew it and im only 50 pages in but its bloody brilliant so far reminds me of a mix between the hunger games and the host, so far I’d def recommend you reading it but I shall give you my full opinion when im back from Spain. This will possibly be my last message so if I don’t speak to you again I hope you have a nice half term and fun at your ball and get lots of revision done! :)

Lol aww Rach you didn’t have to reply if you were busy! I was just rather worried that you didn’t get my message again and might have thought I was ignoring you or something!
I used to be addicted to msn like I am LT and YAR’s but like I say too many idiots from school would talk to me and it became highly annoying so now its easier to just email my close friends.
Oh so true I never thought of that, if we hate it I wont feel bad for saying so either or fear getting into a massive argument on why it was bad. People on YAR’s seem kinda sceptical about it too so it’ll be better to have a discussion with them than the highly charged twilight lovers.

I used to be on facebook and msn but I had too many people I didn’t want to speak to messaging me and it was really annoying so I deleted them so now people just email me! Yeah I should really announce that I wont be on the lex anymore I don’t see myself going back on there anytime soon its just not as fun but I might just leave it open in case I want to return in the future. I might get an OCD twilight twitch when new moons about to come out so I may need it then!
Oooh if you buy any new books you’ll have to let me know. I just finished stargazer the second evernight book and it was a lot better than evernight the ending was really good I’d recommend giving them a read! I’m looking forward to the next one but I don’t think its out until next year. I’ve found yet more books I want on amazon I stumbled across a right gem it’s a collection of vampire love stories written by all our favourite vamp authors, Tanith Lee, Rachel Caine, Cynthia Leitich Smith, Claudia Gray, Richelle Mead, Nancy Holder and Kristin Cast. Edited by New York Times bestseller P.C. Cast. It’s called Immortal and luckily isn’t out until Jan next year over here else I would be buying it ASAP! I also found another book that was recommend in an interview with Maria V. Snyder called Life as we knew it and that’s basically about the end of the world im rubbish at explaining but if you look it up on amazon it sounds really good.

I tend to spend an even amount of time on everything when im online my friends email me so I’ll reply to them then I’ll come on LT then YAR and then I’ll usually end up having a browse on amazon or finding new music on itunes! Do you ever lurk on the lex these days? I haven’t been online for ages! It’s just not as fun as it used to be.
Well I finished reading evernight not long ago, we went out in the day for my friends birthday had our nails done and things and got pampered because my friends going for a meal with her bf and family tonight. It was pretty good I’d recommend it I’m going to start stargazer later hopefully.
Yeah exactly I hate buying people bubble bath and make up and things I just think they look really thoughtless like you don’t even know the person and dashed out and got them anything at the last minute, at Christmas and things I tend to make a real effort trying to get everyone something really good. I don’t really care about price either its more about if there gona like it or not that concerns me and I don’t mind if they don’t get me a present in return if ive brought someone something its because I wanted to and thought they’d like it not because I expect something in return.
Hmm interesting I’ll have to have a nosey at that on amazon I bet you wont be able to resist buying it for long!

Yeah if you do that he might not be too pleased, tis so hard buying people presents I think because everyone I know either likes music, films, books or games and because its there birthday other people might buy them the same thing or they might decide to buy it themselves but I can never think of surprises they might like. I usually end up just telling them what ive got them so they don’t buy it.

Oh darn I replied to this message the other day and I’ve just looked and realised why you haven’t replied back yet is because it never sent! Grr now let me try and think what I put…
Yeah I really loved atonement and the film its so sad that they never got to be together because of stupid Briony ah I really do feel no sympathy for that stupid girl!
Well if I take the bronze horseman on holiday then ill make sure to read it last so I don’t catch the next flight home to buy the rest of the books when im done reading!
I really want to do something nice for my bf he looked after me when I was ill and brought me the bronze horseman and I just want to do something nice in return but I cant think what I have no money to spend on him till I get back from hols and I cant cook or anything. I might see if I can find something cool he might like while im away.
I’m so sad that I have no more study books to read storm glass cant come out soon enough! I’m interested to learn more about Opals magic as well.
As you know im now reading evernight and it started a little slow but its now got really good, I’m loving it at the minute I don’t know why you cant find it in any bookshops by you seems its suppose to be out over here now, it is however on amazon.co.uk for £5 :P

I bloody hope so! My brothers avoiding me like the plaque (pun intended :D) Because he’s convinced I have swine flu :( I fainted yesterday and just feel full of a cold I think if I had swine flu I’d feel a lot worse than I do *shrugs* my dad had a bad cold the other week so I think I just caught it off him!
Oooh that’s good then im excited to watch the film when im done reading. I loath Briony I don’t care if she was only thirteen and didn’t know what she was seeing. She’s a stupid stupid highly disturbed girl!

I had a very eventful book addict day yesterday. I’ve got a really bad cold so I was in bed sleeping most of yesterday however my friends lent me atonement she just finished reading it and was raving about how good it was so I started that yesterday im half way through and I love it so far. My friend also has it on dvd so were going to watch the film when im done reading. So I haven’t read anymore of fire study which is good I guess makes it last longer :P
I also gave in and brought Jessicas guide to dating on the dark side off amazon.co.uk because they had ONE copy in stock and I simply *had* to have it *le sigh* I did however resist buying the bronze horseman but then found out that my bf brought if for me after me going on to him about how much I wanted it but couldn’t afford it, so I now have two shiny new books :D
Argh I know she said she didn’t want to just write Valek in for the sake of him being there, there had to be a reason for him to turn up and there is a reason in book three. Me too I think she will seems shes already thinking about it now I think she misses Yelena and Valek too much :P
The authors name is Paullina Simons and my copys like dark blue with snow and a blonde woman on front, LT better have the right cover for it because on amazon the covers completely different to mine. I read the first page online before I got it and I like the way she writes it seems like it will be a good book.
Hehe I know the new it girl books also going for £3 something I just hope they keep the price the same when it comes out!

Yeah im going to try and drag it out I read the first 100 pages earlier and im trying to resist reading anymore tonight because I need it to last longer! We could be in for a long wait with storm glass you never know with amazon. I read on a review with Maria V. Snyder that Yelena has a few cameos in the books but theres no Valek until the third book :( She thinks she might write more books to the study trilogy in the future about Yelena and Valek so that would be awesome!
Argh I know someone gave me the bright idea on YAR’s to have a hunt through 2nd hand shops and the libraries by me and I might be able to piece the series together that way, so I remain hopeful. I had a browse through my local library system online and they have got it but someones took it out and the due dates not until the 21st which is two days before I go on holiday and I don’t really want to take it abroad in case I forget it and then when I get back I’ll have the money to buy it anyway so that’s a bit pointless so my last hope is second hand shops!

Well I finished gossip girl last night so I’ll be starting fire study later on today me thinks so ill soon find out!

I found another competition where you could win rumours and I was magerly chuffed until I read some more and realised it was only open to the aussies :(
Well I noticed you had a nosey on the YAR’s forum about it so I take it you know what its about now hehe! It sounds highly awesome doesn’t it? Theres 3 books I think all being around 600 pages long but apparently you need to buy them all because the end of the first book is such a cliff hanger that you need the next one straight away. If I see them in the mighty stones this weekend I really don’t know how im not going to buy them. I’m going to have to get my friend to keep my purse until we leave and not let me buy anything no matter what.
Yeah because if I find wuthering heights a chore to get through then it would probably put me off reading all the other classics so ill start with Jane Eyre me thinks :)

I’m hoping I’ll have at least a few pennies left over when I’ve brought my holiday clothes and things to at least buy one book I don’t know how im going to go into the almighty stones and resist else!
Hmm I may read Jane Eyre this summer then before reading wuthering heights! I started the first gossip girl Carlyle book earlier and will no doubt have that finished later tonight. I’m enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would I wasn’t sure if I’d like it as much as the original cast but I really like Baby she seems pretty cool so far and Avery seems ok as well if maybe a tad desperate to get in with Jack and co.
Oh no that sounds really annoying! Ah I don’t mind rant all you like, let it all out!
Sounds fun, what did you go to see at the cinema? I’ve had quite a productive day of sorting my room out and writing a list of things I need for my holiday, I feel rather organized and now I can spend the rest of the night kicking back with gossip girl :P

Oh no I don’t know if I can stand it if she’s even worse in fire study! I thought she was bad enough in magic study! Yeah do a bit of research on storm glass and let me know! I noticed there was a competition to win it on YAR where you just had to enter your name and email one winner for in the US and another winner for international and seems there was only like 3 other people who entered for international if I entered just a few days earlier then I might have won gutted :( I did ask if it was still open but it closed on the 23rd April!
Exactly im such a fool that I’ll probably read the luxe and city of bones anyway and then ill have to get the next books, my problem is I always want what I cant have and surprise surpise they’ve been sitting on my bookshelf for ages and now im going on holiday and cant really buy the next books I want to read them really badly!
Yeah £20 a month on books sounds very reasonable if you stick to it though we shall see ;) Have you started envy yet or are you still reading wuthering heights?
I finished wintergirls earlier and it was AWESOME I really loved it and I didn’t find it *that* hard to read but I’ve never met anyone whose been through that personally so, I could imagine that if you did some parts would be pretty hard to read.
Well yesterday I was just working so that was fairly boring then today ive just been around my bfs, so its been a fairly uneventful weekend again this week, next weekend im going to b’ham though so that should be a lot of fun :D how about you what’ve you been up to?

Lol yeah get your guard up now girl your in for a harsh battle this autumn! Hehe nah its not that bad I think it depends on what you take and how much you enjoy it :)
I can see why your boyfriend would get stressed after exams though, leading up to them you have time to change things and revise but when there done there done and if you think you’ve screwed up then theres nothing you can do and it can be really nerve racking!
Oooh does Roze get even worse in fire study? I’m intrigued to how everythings all going to turn out *gnaws hand*
Is storm glass out this month? I thought it was just in America it comes out in May I swear I read that its not coming out over here until July. If it is coming out though then I’ll be just as bad for buying it *twitches* I’m tempted to start either city of bones or wicked lovely after im done with the study series and that wont be good because I’ll want to buy the next book after that I really want to read the luxe as well but know that doing so will result in me buying rumours and envy so im trying to just read stand alone books until my holiday or at least evernight and wake where I already have the sequel to read after!

Exactly you just get so stressed out and once you’ve got one assignment done you then have to do another its never ending! Hehe sorry I’ve just realised im probably not helping with your worries about uni!
Lol really? I’ve never met anyone like that before all my friends just worry about it leading up to exams then after their relieved!
I finished magic study earlier the plot thickens! Although there was some valek towards the end there was still not enough for my liking *pouts* I still don’t like Leif but if his in fire study then we shall see about my feelings towards him at the end of that. I love how powerful Yelenas becoming but I hate Roze I think shes just jealous of Yelenas power myself and how she couldnt get into her mind when she first met her.
Yeah I do so it is really tempting I must resist though until I get back off holiday at least! 3 weeks of no book buying ahh!
I will do I might read it next so I’ll let you know how good it is.
Oh that was unlucky then are you going to carry on re-reading magic study tonight or are you going to continue with Wuthering heights?

No working at the hairdressers is fine I think it was mainly all the homework and getting everything done and in for a deadline that stressed me out about uni. So working at the hairdressers 9 till 5 and not bringing any work home should be fine me thinks :)
Yeah exactly and we had to look at all these different case files to study what therapy you’d give them under the circumstances and some of them are kids who have been abused and all sorts and its just such a sad thing to deal with day in and day out its enough to make anyone depressed! Yeah it is a really interesting subject but it takes a lot out of you!
Yeah tis natural to get stressed about your exams just so long as the stress goes by summer and its not lingering then you’ll be fine!
I read a bit more earlier and they’ve arrived :D I’m rather worried about Valeks safety though! I love the horses Kiki and Topaz everytime Yelena speaks to them their like apples? Haha! Grr he is and hes just digging himself a deeper grave at the moment I’ve just found out about him seeing Yelena be kidnapped when she was younger and never telling their mum and dad he’s really annoying me the more I learn about him!
Argh I know tis a tiresome struggle im mainly resisting the urge to buy Jodi Picoults new book handle with care I’ve read all her other books minus one that is waiting to be read on my bookshelf so the urge to buy it is strong! Especially when its going in hardcover for like £7 something on amazon!

Exactly the doctor wants me to take a few weeks off anyway no work or anything but that’s not really practical with me going on holiday so I’m just going to work Saturdays like I usually do then start working part time when I get back off hol. Yeah I did think I wanted to be a psychologist but the course is so hard because the minds such a complex thing and it can be really upsetting and depressing so now im not sure I need to do some serious thinking over the next few weeks! I was worried dropping out would look bad for me trying to get back in and do a different course later on but after chatting with the university they said because its due to medical reasons then they wont hold it against me as long as I’ve got a doctors note which I have so. I just need to think long and hard over summer me thinks!
Hehe I feel so bad for you at least you know it all ends in June though then you’ve got summer. Just try not to get stressed out that’s where it all went wrong for me! As cheesy as it sounds just do the best that you can do.
Yeah not being able to read because I was so run down was not good! I read half of magic study last night and I really love it so far although im mighty sad that im half way through and theres still no Valek or Ari and Janco :( Yelenas brother Leif is seriously annoying with all his shes a spy shes a spy! Grrr I could feel Yelenas frustration! I’ve just met Tula and Opal as well :) Cant wait to read some more later like poison study its highly addictive!

*wonders in* Right I have a rather big announcement! After a lot of thinking over the last few weeks and a talk with the rentals I’ve decided that im going to quit uni *le gasp* I had to come home from uni yesterday because I was really unwell and I went to the doctors today and they basically told me what I already new that Im stressed lol. I haven’t really been enjoying psychology for a while and the stress and pressures just so overwhelming. So I spoke to my rentals earlier and I thought they’d be so mad and disappointed in me but they were really cool with it they could see that uni was making me unhappy and they said me being happys the main thing so Im going to take a year out because I really don’t know what I want to be doing right now and just work at the hairdressers. Man it feels like a huge weights been lifted off my shoulders already and im just so glad that ive made my mind up it feels like the right thing to do!
Wow that was random lol, now on to the rest of the message!

Because of being ill I haven’t started magic study yet but I do plan to start it tonight because im feeling a lot better now!

Argh I know its never happened to me luckily but a few times ive been reading by the pool or something and some kid very nearly misses splashing my book! So its not all that relaxing when your on constant guard for a splash attack!
I’ve been to Spain before a few times my nans friend has a villa there so we always stop there when we go and its lovely! We tend to go there whenever we just want to get away and chill as a family we don’t really do much but relax just what I need at the moment get away from the stress of uni life for a week and get lost in a few books!
Aww hun You’ve still got nothing done huh? Don’t worry too much I did hardly any revision because like you I am just hopeless at staying focused and I just kept putting it off and I still done fine. You seem really smart so im sure even if you only do a bit of revision you’ll be ok!
Oh yeah that’s a good point, how can anyone not be addicted to LT!? Tis an awesome home for us addicts!
I didn’t start a book in the end last night I felt too damn tired and sick after I finished all my work so I just went straight to sleep. I think I’ve decided on picking up magic study later though!

Yeah or being on holiday and reading on the beach or by the pool I always find that so relaxing! That is if theres not any pesky kids about splashing my book grrr!
Ahh I know im so excited about going! I’m just going to Spain for a week with my entire family on my mums side anyway (8 of us in all) which will be much fun :D I wont need too much money seems im mainly going to chill and laze by the beach but ill still need at least some so ill have to curb my spendings!
Haha they do I get all excited when their brave enough to post! But then they just tend to disappear again :|
Argh I know it was a pain I managed to get it all read though it was ok but magerly depressing as you’d imagine! I done quite a bit of reading over the weekend I read prozac nation, and willow which was really good by the way and Marley and me which was pretty sweet and funny, and next im torn between starting the luxe or magic study. I keep seeing people talk about the luxe on the YAF and im intrigued but I also really want me some more valek! Decisions decisions!
Hehe don’t worry if that was me I would so do the same! I see you brought the thirteenth tale that’s a really good read! What made you decide to buy it? Your making me feel bad buying all these classics I don’t feel like a proper book lover without reading at least one Austen book or a book by one of the Bronte sisters!

Yeah although I do like winter too-snuggling down in bed at night when its cold and raining outside. Although given the choice I’d probably prefer reading outside on a nice sunny day!
Lol sounds like a good place to look for some Tammy books! I may have to visit your neck of the woods over summer and B’ham too have a look in charity shops around there! Speaking of b’ham im going there soon with my friend seems im going on holiday in 3 weeks so I *need* to get some new clothes and I know I wont be able to resist looking in the big stones for some holiday reads *sighs* 3 weeks to save for holiday and buy clothes and things to take with me ahh I don’t know where im going to get all this money from!
Hehe yeah I reckon we do scare off the others they probably thought they were bad until they read about our addictions then realised compared to us maybe they didn’t really have that *much* of a problem!

Oh yeah I really need to re-read the HP books its been too long im starting to forget things that happened and it will be interesting to read them now I’m older I haven’t read the first three books since I was like 13 or 14 or something! Summers such an awesome time for us addicts get plenty of time to read, extra time to work for our book fund and nice sunny weather so we can go read someplace nice outside :)
Oooh theres a thought! I have heaps of second hand shops and charity shops by me including a really awesome Oxfam that basically sells purely books with a few random things here and there. Yeah I think its going to be my summer mission find all of the TP books to read!
Haha yes we should do that! We should put the list on book addicts anonymous as well give people tips on how to get away with being a book addict! Ahh were really not a good influence on those guys! They probably joined BAA hoping for a place to get better and curb their addiction and instead found a place of madness where we all except each others conditions and even offer advice on how to get away with things!
Yeah I hope theres more of Janco and Ari in the next books! I’m a bit worried that I wont see as much of them as id like with them staying in Ixia :( and Valek ahh I need some more Valek!

I went round my friends last night and watched the twilight special features she has the two disc addition so she had 2 hours of bonus stuff including deleted scenes there was one ridiculous scene where Bella lets Edward bite her finger so he can taste her blood I was like WTF!? And Edward was so cool about it to no huge struggle to not kill her there and then I was soooo glad they didn’t put that in the movie. Stupid CH *grumbles* Some of the deleted scenes were pretty good though and there was this mighty long convo with Stephenie Meyer that was quite interesting. Gah I cant wait for new moon im trying not to get my hopes up that it will be good but with all the links and pictures so far im getting rather excited, mainly about seeing the wolf boys shirtless and in action :P

That’s true ahh how I long for summer! Ahh I hope you get in too *crosses fingers* I’m sure you will though! I think im going to put together a summer reading list of all the books I really want to get read before uni starts up again, It’ll be a perfect time to get a bunch of series’ read me thinks and I’ll be able to work extra so I’ll be able to buy the next books to the series without feeling guilty!
Hmm I have a couple of big libraries hopefully I’ll be able to piece them all together that way or even if the libraries just have a few books in each that would save me some money if I ordered the books I couldn’t find from America *plots* Drat why did I never pick up the TP books when they were out over here and had the awesome covers! *sulks*
Hehe I was in stitches when I read about that it was just so book addictish and definitely sounded like something I would do vair sneaky!
Lol pale patches are always fun sometimes I’ll tan in really random places one time I fell asleep in the sun and one side of me was tan/sunburnt and the other a nice pasty white! I looked hilarious so my bright idea was to apply a fake tan to even it out but one side ended up going much darker so that didn’t work out too well I was a laughing stock for days!
Well I finished poison study last night and I loved it hurray for Yelena and Valek finally hooking up! I had less and less pages to read and I was like noooo if they don’t get together im going to emerge from my fly on the wall pose and bang their heads together! But its so sad that they cant be together right now. I found it hilarious that the commanders really a woman and that butterfly dust doesn’t even exist! How vair sneaky of Valek! I was terrified that Janco was going to die im glad he made it through I seriously love him and Ari! One thing though I don’t know if I missed it from reading too fast or if its going to be revealed in a later book but how did the old food taster die? Did Valek really kill him?
Argh yes all hale amazon and there awesome recommendations! I think I may have to buy graceling next when im done with the study series I really do like the sound of it and I noticed that a second book is coming out in September do you know how many theres going to be to the series?
Oh and speaking of amazon im not sure if I should tell you this but I remembered about you wanting to read the vampire diaries and I noticed that they’ve got the American editions in stock on amazon.co.uk where you get three of the stories in each book so it works out cheaper than buying each story separately from our English publishers. I was very tempted to buy the first book myself but thought that was very silly of me seems as I haven’t read nightworld yet so I resisted the urge!
Woah 68 slides? Sounds hardcore I’m mighty happy that I managed to finish poison study last night and all my homework, hopefully I wont get anymore to do today or tomorrow so I can have the weekend free! :)

Wow you really thought that through didn’t you ;) Very very good point though there is of coarse the library for when we run out of money but that just wouldn’t fulfil the addiction need for buying books and I bet they wouldn’t have all the books we wanted to read either *sighs* Looks like we’ll have to continue with our everyday life and just read in our spare time :(
Argh I know she was in a bit of a debacle really no wonder she went and committed suicide!
I did notice on amazon that they didn’t have a vast range of the TP books, blast! Do you think my Library may have them in? Still I bet they’d only have a few of the books I’d hate to see the total for ordering all of them over from America *gulps* That’s a shame because I really wanted to read them!

Im naturally pretty pale but I tan fairly well I never go a deep tan but I do go a nice golden colour :) I have to be in the sun a LOT though!
Ahh yes I adore Janco and Ari I quite liked Rand as well until I found out about him trying to poison Yelena at the start *le gasp* I’ve just got to the bit where he dies and im not sure what to make of him now I get that he had to pay his debt to star and that he cares about Yelena but I duno as a character im not sure whether I liked him or not. I love how Yelenas becoming magerly kick ass im glad shes learning to stand up for herself after all the terrible things that have happened to her! I cant wait to finish poison study later! It’s such a good book thanks for recommending it to me :) I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it.

Hehe yes yes im quite well I think that’s the problem im responding too much like a normal person would! Oh yeah could you imagine if the addiction ran full force all the time? Eep! I’d have no job no friends no money my life would consist of running to stones and back to my room to read! Actually that doesn’t sound like a bad way to live at all!
Yeah I could never bring myself to feel sorry for Emily though she just seemed to really take advantage of Chris loving her.
Oooh I hope you’ve got it, I’m so intrigued to read some TP books they sound sooo good but the amount of books there are is awfully off putting at the mo, I think ill definitely have to pick one up once I’ve done some serious reading over summer then I’ll have to find a whole new TBR pile hehe oooh that will be such fun!

OMG that sounds heavenly! I done that a lot last summer, especially whilst I was on holiday I’d pack a few books into my bag and go read on the beach or in this park all day then go home when it started to get dark around 9ish have some dinner and maybe write a poem or something it was bliss I got so much read and I got a mean tan from being in the sun all day :) Ahh I so cant wait for summer now!
Sounds interesting I’ll have to check them out when im done with the trilogy! Yeah I’ve just been introduced to Ari, Janco and Maren as it goes I read some more when I got home and im on the part where they’ve started their secret training together. Oh really that’s not too bad then, I must resist the urge to buy that as well luckily my addiction for it isn’t running too strong im quite content with the books I have at the moment *gasps* I cant believe I just said that I never thought id see the day!
Argh that was it! I knew it was something like that I remember being so mad at her for doing that and thinking why would she do it? but I guess she just couldn’t come to terms and didn’t want to believe that her daughter was so unhappy she wanted to take her own life its much easier to just put the blame on to someone else. I think with Emily she just had this pressure from her family to do well and to be with Chris and she didn’t really want that she said many times that she seen chris more like a brother and then she had the whole thing with her being abused so her whole feeling towards sex and the baby were kinda screwed up I think.
Yeah it is sooo awesome so far! Magic study and fire study came this morning! I was really good last night and got my work done instead of reading but good god it was hard I only have a bit more work to do now tonight so I should be able to pick up poison study again at some point!
Haha sneaky I like it! I make myself do my work downstairs for that very reason im so easily distracted in my room!

Nope you cant! Speaking of which Ive found another stand alone vamp book I want Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side and just when I went to read up about it on amazon.co.uk surprise surprise its not out over here yet! Suppose it is good in a way at least I wont be tempted to buy it anytime soon, but still.
I added it and I think I already added tempted, I know there are some others im looking forward to coming out but I cant think of them off the top of my head!
Hehe *zips lips* I wont tell a soul. Oooh I know I hated Mel didn’t she read Emily’s diary about wanting to kill herself and she ignored it or something? It’s been so long I cant remember! I loved Chris but I didn’t like Emily that much she just seemed kinda selfish. Ahh I really need to re-read that book again soon its been ages since ive read it. Theres a crappy film of it out but its got awful reviews so ive never watched it im so picky about films that other people find good so id dread to think how much I’d hate the film if its already suppose to be bad!
I’ve read the first 100 pages of Poison study since I got home and OMG its awesome so far! I want to read more but ive got to get some of my work done tonight my rentals are watching me like a hawk so im not sure if ill be able to get anymore read now until tomorrow :( I ordered the other two books off amazon luckily its coming via city link so that saves a job for my postie!
Exactly I had a long chat with my rentals earlier about ‘‘finding balance’’ because their getting seriously worried about my book addiction and I guess their right so im trying to read less and spend equal amounts of time on things each night like reading going on the computer homework etc how long that will last for though I don’t know. I’m already getting strong urges to ditch my work and pick up poison study gah!
Really? Ooooh I didn’t know it was tied in with the study series I want it even more now!
Aww yes decisions decisions, your options sound better than mine though now im trying to decide between homework and reading poison study I literally have an angel devil thing going on in my head right now. Maybe I can just do a little bit of work and then pick up poison study hmm…

Argh I know! I’ve also seen fade in bookshops but wake isn’t due to come out over here until November :S It sounded so good that I gave in in the end and got it from amazon.com.
Uninvited looks really good doesn’t it? When I found out that its only 200 pages long and a stand alone novel I just *had* to buy it seems it wouldn’t be too harsh on my TBR pile!
Oh yeah I definitely have a love hate relationship with amazon as well. It seems to either be really good or really bad never in-between. I really feel for you having to wait for your Tamora Pierce book *hugs*

Yeah I guess I can see why stones and the lark don’t ship books like that over early, but even just a few copies of the most popular books would be awesome! Ahh it would be such a battle whenever a new books out to get to one of the few copies! If you worked in stones though then you could snatch up a copy straight away no problem… *day dreams*

I got all the stuff that needed to be done for today done but some other stuff that needs to be in later this week I haven’t started *gulps* God damn it I just want to read poison study! Oh no that’s rubbish darn amazon tis evil to tell a book addict a book will come on a certain day and then say oh no sorry its been delayed especially if the book in question is a much anticipated book! At least it gives you the excuse to read the study books again though! And speaking of the study books I got poison study today! *happy dances* along with elsewhere and memoirs of a teenage amnesiac and this stand alone vampire novel called uninvited its only 200 pages long and it sounded really good so I couldn’t resist! Yet again I’ve brought more books but ive convinced myself its ok because ive worked extra over the holidays so im simply spending money I wouldnt normally have never mind the fact that the original plan was to work extra to make up for my recent book spendings *sighs* I’m having a re-read of twilight tonight because ive still got some serious urges to read it again and then im going to start poison study I cant wait! Then if I like poison study my poor postman will be delivering me the other two books from amazon sometime this week hehe! Poor guy!
I know its pretty stupid really they’d make a lot more money if they kept in stock some American books that English bookstores don’t have out yet especially books that are part of a series.

I hope so too, if spoiler guys right though and this strigoi’s really after Lissa then I bet Rose will feel so bad for falling into the trap and leaving Lissa which will then possibly make her put her guardian duties first again and call things off with dimitri *gulps* Ahh I really cant wait to see how Richelle Mead ends this series because at the moment it seems like Rose cant have both Dimitri and Lissa :(
Yeah I think im just going to get them off amazon although im a bit weary of ordering off there now because the other day my post man complained to my mum about all my amazon orders and him having to carry them around all day! Its weird my evernight and stargazer books are both American copies but I found them in my bookshops! I know its so annoyingly weird I hope you can find them another order from amazon.com will not be good!

Thirteen reasons why is another weird one its an American book published by the same people as the VA books razorbill I think it is and they had a few copies on amazon.co.uk but when I looked the other day there not on there anymore amazon aren’t even selling them anymore it just has about the paperback coming out in 2010, I think with amazon.co.uk they get a few American copies in and once there gone there gone.

Ahh Indeed I have a measly 100 pages left of 13 reasons why but im not sure when ill finish it because im pretty busy today so hopefully ill have it finished with tomorrow then im thinking of starting either wake, evernight or city of bones, possibly city of bones although im not sure im trying to put that off for as long as possible because the last book isn’t out over here until July and if its as addictive as everyone says itll be a long wait till then where as if I start them in a month or so then ill have less time to wait *plots*

Argh I know I really liked Lissa up until then as well, I just don’t think she realises how much Rose gives up for her you know its just like shes ignorant to it all, but im glad rose is putting her needs first for once!
I tried to find poison study in stones today while I was on my lunch break but I couldn’t find it! I didn’t have long to look mind but is it young adult or adult? I may have to order it off amazon at this rate! I’m quite thankful for the easter hols I’ve been working a few days in the week and its making up the money I’ve spent on books recently quite nicely :D
Yeah and me the videos they’ve made of each character are fairly cheesy as well!

I hope hes right :( I will simply not be able to read about Rose killing Dimitri else! *sobs* Just as they came up with their plan to be together as well! What do you think of Lissa asking Rose to stay with her? I've read on the YA forum that a lot of people dont like Lissa now because of it.
Poison study does sound seriously awesome I think im definitely going to buy it on my next trip to stones! I’m quite glad at the moment that theres only 3 books out but I’ll probably wiz through them and then wish there was more if there as awesome as you say!
Yeah the Zoey looked like she was about 20 odd! I also imagined Zoey with longer straight hair like on the covers of betrayed and untamed!

I’ve had a really uneventful week so far I’ve become quite addicted to playing guitar hero with my bf and brother its so awesome I’ve been playing the guitar, drums and singing and im actually pretty good! Darn the boys for getting me into their gamefreak ways! I actually haven’t got any reading done since shadow kiss but I reckon ill possibly pick something new up tonight because my reading urges are starting to kick in fast and strong! I seriously hope I don’t get addicted to guitar hero I don’t need another addiction!

*rushes over to computes and signs in to LT* OMG Rach! I just finished shadow kiss NOOOOOO! *throws nearest object then realises it’s a book and dashes over to make sure its ok, thankfully it is* My worst fears are confirmed! Ahh that last sentence! I *need* blood promise! However I have just been searching the net to see if I can find any clues as to what blood promise is about because I refuse to believe Dimitri is strigoi and that rose is going to kill him and I found a very interesting post from someone who appears to know whats going to happen in blood promise it doesn’t say who he is though or how he knows this but what he says makes a lot of sense if you don’t want to read any potential spoilers then don’t read as from now scan down and ill start a new paragraph when the theory’s over. So this guy said ‘‘In blood promise, rose sets off to kill dimitri because he is now strigoi. But when she finds him, he is still dhampir and the blonde vampire who supposedly 'bit' him, was just using him to get to rose so he can get to lissa and kill the last dragomir. A lot of other stuff happens in between but that is the main story line.’’ And a lot of what he said adds up with this blond guy saying about him wanting to kill the last dragomir, and the way he looked at rose when he bit dimitri as if to say what are you going to do about it? because with rose gone after dimitri that obviously makes Lissa vulnerable but then there are gaps like well how does the blonde strigoi know about rose and dimitris relationship? And whats with mason saying Dimitris strigoi? But I duno I hope this guys right because I don’t know if I can read about rose killing dimitri that will just be heart breaking whether hes strigoi or not!

OK SPOILERS OVER I didn’t know if you’d want to find out or not so I thought I’d do that just in case! Now on to the rest of the message…

Oooh that’s a bit weird you should give it a watch its quite interesting really even if your not into religion or anything its still a good film in itself although like I say some bits are seriously hard to watch!
I know yeah and not only that but there might be more than 9 books! I checked that website out and none of the characters look like how I imagine them especially not Zoey again I think the girl looks too old the only one who looks like I imagine is Stevie Rae the girl whos suppose to be Aphrodite looks nothing like I imagined her shes got that bitch look but for some reason I always imagined Aphrodite’s hair to be wavy I don’t know why I cant even remember if they say its wavy or whatever in the books!
After now reading all the book so far to vampire academy I’ve decided I definitely like it better than HoN and I really didn’t think that was possible, I think I may even like VA as much as twilight!
Yeah vampire Bella is still a highly annoying character but shes definitely an improvement on human Bella, I don’t get why SM didn’t make Bella more likeable I mean she creates these really nice awesome characters like Seth and Edward and Alice but then Bellas just sooo annoying!

Oooh whats this Poison Study about? I shouldnt be asking but im just too damn curious! I’m half way through shadow kiss I should be done reading it by tonight, I love it so far! I could have finished it last night but I decided to watch passion of the Christ instead have you seen that film? Its awesome but god some bits are hard to watch with all the gore and violence!
Oooh that’s a bargain! Amazon have so many good bargains its so hard to resist! Especially with free delivery sometimes they’ll have a book I want going for like £3.99 or something and then I really cant resist not buying it for that money! Ahh I really do love amazon (when they have the books I want) they save me some pennys which is always a bonus!
Yeah the Zoey on the posters got quite sharp features as well where as I imagined Zoey to be more softer looking with her being young she does kinda look like how I imagined her though, I think her tattoos are pretty cool! Really? OMG im going to check that out right after im done with this post! I read somewhere that they’ve got plans for 9 books so far but there may be more.
Oh yeah Bella annoyed me so much at times I much prefer vampire bella when she doesn’t need Edward and the other cullens to save her all the time.

Oooh yeah that’s a good point actually! I feel like that too its like im not in my own head half the time. I was thinking about this the other day and all I basically do is read and write, I mean I’ll read and write all day at uni and then come home and go on the computer where you read and type and then I do my work where I read and write/type again and then I’ll read my book! No wonder I need glasses my eyes are under constant strain! Thank god for the weekends when I have hands on work and am not peering over a book for hours else I think I'd be blind by now!
Hehe well I didn’t start it in the end I decided to be sensible *gasps* and get an early night but I fully plan to hole up in my room and start shadow kiss after my dinner :D and will no doubt have it finished before the weekends over.
Ahh I wont tell you what its about then if your avoiding looking! You don’t need another book on your TBR list and it’s the first of a 5 book series so that’s even worse! I’m really trying not to buy it along with elsewhere but every time I go on amazon I have such a battle with my addiction trying to resist the urge and move my mouse away from the one click to buy thing! Really what happens in this fanfic does bella just not get pregnant?

Well it’s a horror Joe Hill is Stephen Kings son so I read it out of curiosity really to see if his book lives up to his dads stuff and it was good, worth a read. Ahh Im rubbish at explaining so I’ve stole someones review off amazon for you to read hehe! Heart-Shaped Box is a story of an aging rock star and collector of the macabre who buys a dead man's suit, which is said to be haunted by a restless spirit. From the moment the suit/ghost arrives, the lives of the main character and his much younger live-in groupie girlfriend are taken over by a series of surprises and supernatural experiences -- often times quite gruesome -- that leave them (and YOU) literally gasping for breath.
I just finished it now and im so tempted to pick up shadow kiss but I know If I do ill be reading until the wee hours and that’s not good when ive got to wake up early for work so im trying to resist the urge until tomorrow night! Hehe I know I really don’t help my addiction asking people what books are about and browsing peoples LT’s! I’m resisting the urge right now to buy another book off amazon called sloppy firsts its been mentioned a lot on the YA forum and I like the sound of it! I also want to buy Elsewhere!
Ahh Stones came up trumps yet again smiths tends to be super crappy but then one day you mooch in and they’ve randomly got a super awesome book out that no where else has! *coughs chosen*
I know yeah im rather torn between Stark and Heath myself I reckon P.C and Kristin couldn’t decide between Heath and Erik so they brought Stark on the scene with a mix of boths best qualities with a hint of his own personality and problems for Zoey to end up with instead! Yeah the ending of hunted was good one thing with the HoN books I always cant wait to see what happens next! Like blood promise I’m intrigued by the title tempted, tempted to do what? Ahh write faster Cast girls!
Oooh I know I was thinking the other day that im tempted to read twilight again I know reading twilight will possibly lead to reading the whole saga though! And I really need to get through my TBR pile! I really want to read all my old favourite books at some point but I don’t see that happening for a long time until at least half my TBR piles goes down which will possibly never happen if I keep buying more books!

Me too I literally get overwhelmed with the urge to read something anything I just need to read! I managed to get my fix yesterday and read infamous and im half way through another book heart shaped box by Joe Hill I should be done with that today so then tomorrow when I get in from work I can start shadow kiss!
That’s a good idea if you only take one or two books then you’ll have to do your work when your done reading them! Unless of coarse you buy more books when your away…ahh we need to be locked up! What are our families thinking letting us loose in the world?
I know its really annoying a really cool pair of shoes like that only tend to come around every so often in ones life as well! I’ve looked but I cant find anything that lives up to there greatness! :( I really miss them.
Yeah I hate it, in that case I usually buy the naff copy if its something I really want to read and try and replace it as soon as I can with a nicer copy. If im not to bothered about reading it though then ill just leave it until they have more copys in stock.

But other than that im not really fussed about all the other stuff. I just love talking about books really and seeing what other people are reading but I have LT for that now and the YA book forum. Everyone on the lex seems to be talking about the twilight dvd atm as well and seems im not really too fussed about it its all a bit boring to me.
Yeah im not fussed about watching the film again its just the special features! My friends got in on dvd so I may have to watch them with her saves me buying it!

Argh I know the thing with the holidays is at the start you think you have loads of time but then your half way through the week and you realise that you’ve done naff all work! Oooh a mini holiday sounds fun are you going to take any work with you to do then or are you just going to let yourself relax?
Oh yeah Birmingham is a lot better than the Trafford centre especially for us book addicts with the mighty stones! I haven’t been to the Trafford centre for years but the last time I went with a friend I remember liking it because I found these really funky shoes with comic like sketches all over them I was so sad a year or so ago when they fell apart because I wore them continually!
Lol I never get road rage but like ive said im a seriously easy going chilled out person so it takes a lot to faze me its so funny watching my bf drive though I end up laughing at him and then he gets even more mad! Hehe!

That’s ok then I was worried you might think that I’d dropped off the face of the earth lol! Yeah Skegness was pretty fun. Before I broke up for Easter I thought to myself ah im going to just really chill out and do lots of reading but it hasn’t worked out that way so far I’ve still only read tempted because I’ve been so busy I was really looking forward to a hardcore book addict sesh as well, ahh maybe the wildness of the Easter hols will die down next week and ill be able to chill and do more reading then!
Oooh the Trafford centre I love it there! That sounds scary luckily I haven’t had any near crash experiences myself yet although my bf is a pretty bad driver so he really has to concentrate when hes driving and gets really bad road rage! Hehe its pretty funny.
2 and a half hours for a 400 odd page book must be some record reading! That’s the only thing with really good books I tend to not take a lot in because I just want to race through to find out what happens next then when im done everything just seems like a blur of excitement.
Oooh book arrivals from amazon are so much fun! I rip open the packaging as if it’s a Christmas present then just marvel at all my new books!

Exactly I must save my eyes before its too late! Luckily there not so bad that I’ll have to wear glasses all the time but when im driving I think they’ll definitely come in handy! Aww yeah I would too if I was you. I didn’t go to bed till about half 1 last night with my mums party and having to stay till the end so im really tired today, which isn’t good because im going in to work this afternoon so then tonight ill probably be really exhausted and wont get any reading done again, tomorrow though I plan to slob out and have a lazy day so I can read then, argh I really need to read infamous and shadow kiss! I haven’t read anything in 2 or 3 days now! *curls up in ball and starts rocking*

Hi Rach! Sorry for the mega late reply I went away to Skegness for the weekend with some friends on a spur of the moment thing. My friends parents have their own caravan there so in the holidays sometimes we’ll disappear there randomly to get away for a while I’ve only just come back and before I unpack and everything I just had to come on LT I’ve had serious withdrawal symptoms while ive been away!
OMG shadow kiss is worse than we thought? How could that be! Whats worse than someone dieing unless…NO! I just had a mad idea on what could happen maybe they turn strigoi? Ahh don’t tell me! I must read shadow kiss and find out! Whoa you must have read shadow kiss in super record time how long did it take you?
Yeah I read tempted while I was away which was a miracle in itself seems we were hardly in and I never had a moments peace and I think CVZ will carry on the ITG series until the end of the school year seems its thanksgiving in infamous, I’m going to start infamous later tonight so then im all up to date with my ITG books and then I really need to read shadow kiss!
Oooh have you been spending again? We done pretty bad last week and we were doing so well! I’ve got a real bad urge to buy Jane Eyre because my friend has just finished it and said she really enjoyed it so between you and my friend I now really want to read it! I really feel like I should read some classics you know? I always say I’ll read them but I never get round to it!

I learnt over the weekend that im officially going blind. I’ve noticed the last few weeks that things in the distance look really blurry and I have to have something up close to be able to read it so I tried my friends glasses on for a laugh and omg I’ve been walking around half blind! I can see perfectly with her glasses on and I was like blimey is this how the worlds suppose to look? So I’ve got to get myself off to spec savers sometime soon! I’m quite excited because glasses really suit me I think they make me look really preppy and smart!
How was your weekend have you been up to much? It’s my mums birthday tomorrow and shes having a party. Ahh the joy of family get togethers!

Argh! I know! I really liked Mason I didn’t want Rose to be with him over Dimitri but I thought he was a sweet kid. I loved how Rose killed her first Strigoi as well! That was awesome! I was so upset though at the thought that Dimitir might become Tashas guardian and Im so glad he didn’t, I did really like Tasha though considering she was Roses love rival it was hard not to like her with how cool and clever she is! The Moroi royals annoy me I’m like get off your arses learn how to fight and use your magic for cripes sake! It’s cool how Lissas found another spirit user as well!
Oooh if you read shadow kiss let me know what you think and if the ending is really that terrible!
Ahh that’s not too bad then, I wonder when the it girl books are going to finish seems theres only a few days to two weeks between each one and theres quite a few out already.
Hmm three books each you say? That’s not bad at all they might be a new series to get soon! My book arrived from amazon this morning the one about the tapes! I cant wait for my dream book to come! I also found evernight yesterday in whsmith and this other book to a series about this teen witch called blue is for nightmares I heard the series is suppose to be really good so I ended up picking that up too so that lot should keep me busy for a while! (until I need the next book to the series that is) ahh my mum is going to flip if she finds out I smuggled them home though and I have so many books she wont know if its new or not hehe!
Oooh yeah a book calendar would be most helpful! I actually marked when hunted was out on my calendar in my room *blushes* ah im such a nerd there are so many books coming out all the time though im constantly checking my amazon wish list to check there not out yet. I think im going to write the dates in my book journal.

Hmm their kind of minor their not a really big character but I was really sad when they died! Nah someone definitely dies in shadow kiss as well sadly I’ve read quite a few reviews where people have been heartbroken over the ending I think I can guess who dies but I don’t want to ask or find out if it is D…I cant even bare to say it because if it is true I don’t know if I can bare to read it! Ahh I know my mum was not happy with my spendings she doesn’t approve but theres not much she can do about it seems its my money but shes actually not told my dad about it this time else he will flip his lid! She says im not allowed to buy anymore books till were back from holiday now and im going to try not to buy anymore but theres still 2 months to go so well see how my addiction holds out. I’m definitely not buying anything else from amazon.com but if theres a book in stones that catches my eye well I cant say how far my resistance will hold out!

Ahh I know I tend to get all my ideas when I write, if I sit at the computer I cant think of anything my mind goes blank. Yep I was like what? They died! I really wasn’t expecting it because I just thought someone died in shadow kiss! Its really awesome I cant wait till you read it! What are you reading now? I really want to start shadow kiss but im going to read my last two it girl books so then I’ll be done with them until the new one comes out, get that series off my TBR list!

Oooh what are these fantasy books about? I fancy some sort of fantasy book as much as I love my vamps I feel like reading about other mythical creatures I’m thinking of borrowing eragon off my bf when hes done reading it I like the sound of it. Well I cracked I couldn’t help it last night I ordered this book called thirteen reasons why off amazon.co.uk its just stand alone and its suppose to be really good so I figured that was ok heres a summery of what its about it sounds sooo good!
When Clay Jensen finds a package on his front porch, he's excited. A package, for him? With no return address? What could it possibly be? What Clay finds is a shoebox full of cassette tapes, each marked as "Cassette 1: Side A," "Cassette 1: Side B," etc. Of course he rushes to the old radio/cassette player in his dad's garage to check out these mysterious tapes.
And soon wishes, wholeheartedly, that he'd never picked up that stupid package from his front porch.
What he hears when he inserts that first tape is the voice of Hannah Baker. Hannah, the girl he'd crushed on for longer than he could remember. The girl he went to school with. The girl he worked at the movie theater with. The girl who had changed, drastically, in the last several months. Hannah Baker, the girl who committed suicide.
Clay soon realizes that these tapes aren't just a suicide note, aren't, really, even a clear-cut rendition of why she did what she did. Instead, these are thirteen reasons -- thirteen people, to be exact -- who created a snowball-effect of events that led Hannah to believe that suicide was her only option. And then I ordered this book off amazon.com *gulps* called wake that’s basically about a girl whos a dreamcatcher and can enter peoples dreams at night and see there hearts desires but its not out over here until November and I cant wait that long it sounds awesome so I just had to order it off amazon! Its weird though because the 2nd books just come out and they’ve got that over here so at least I wont have to order the 2nd one off amazon.com, and then theres evernight which im going to go to stones and look for at some point today because its suppose to have come out over here yesterday. Ahh I really am an addict im trying to talk myself out of going to buy evernight but I just cant not get it! I really do need to be careful of my book spending though because im going on holiday in may and need to start saving up for that.
Aww you sound like you have the same problem as me hun! Its so hard getting down on paper what you want others to see in your head its hard to know if you’ve got it right as well because to you its all already there and makes perfect sense but to someone else they might not get what your trying to say or put across. Random but do you prefer writing your ideas on paper or typing them up?

Oh random note on the end of the message but I just looked up how many books theres going to be to the vampire academy series and it says on Richelles website that theres going to be 5 in total so once blood promise comes out there'll only be one more left! *crys* I love this series I want it to go on and on but I guess its good in a way that the series wont drag for years. I was hoping maybe that blood promise and the last book would be rather fat but blood promise is only 400 and something pages so it doesnt appear that shes bulking them up too much either :(

Oh my sweet Jesus!!! first things first I just finished frostbite and OMG it was AMAZING! I loved it so much and everyone says shadow kiss is the best one so god knows how good that’s going to be! Rach you *must* read it as soon as possible I thought someone just died in shadow kiss but turns out someone dies in this too! Don’t worry I wont give anything away just that someone dies but there are no clues to who it is until it happens so don’t worry about figuring out who it is that dies.
Yeah the girl on the front covers just got this flirty grin and I could just imagine rose smiling like that although the girl doesn’t look like how I imagine Rose. Rose to me looks a lot like I imagined Katniss from the HG’s but older and more curvy.
Ahh yes I think im going to register in the next few days whenever I have the time it looks like fun but I seriously fear for my addiction I think im going to start the book challenge on there as well and post the books ive read so far this year. They only have a 100 book challenge though *gulps* but give me a year and I think I could possibly maybe read 100 I’m up for the challenge! *waves fist enthusiastically in the air*
Lol you sound just like my friend she tripped and spilled half a bottle of nail varnish remover on her the other day shes got a right nasty rash from it! She’s always falling over, dropping things, bumping into things, breaking things etc
I know snot fair *sulks* even when I log into amazon.com loads of teenage books come up and they all look so awesome which reminds me that I’ve found a few other books I like the look of on there earlier one of thems out over here but the other two are only out in America at the minute there scheduled to come out over here in November but that’s a mighty long wait! If I need to order some books from America before then though then ill probably get them off amazon.com saves waiting.
Ahh I know its so annoying! That’s awesome about your fantasy story though are you thinking of trying to write it again any time soon?

I know! Who do you think the characters are suppose to be on each cover? I think on vampire academy the girls suppose to be rose but then on frostbite the girl looks like she could be a rose as well I did think at first that the guy with her could be dimitri but after reading some more of the book I now think it could be someone else although im still not too sure I don’t get whats with the red eyes hmm, and on shadow kiss the girls obviously suppose to be Lissa with the blond hair and light green eyes the guy im not sure maybe another dimitri? Yeah the glossiness of the covers is awesome.
That’s good then if you enjoyed vanishing acts hopefully you’ll like if not love the pact too!
It’s really good so far I’ll probably have it finished tonight! Then I really must try to go back to reading rebel angels before I forget whats happened but I may be swayed to start shadow kiss if frostbite leaves me wanting more!

I started reading frostbite when I got home its really good so far this one seems to be more about rose and dimitri and rose and her relationship with her mum than Lissa and Roses friendship. I really want to put off reading shadow kiss for as long as possible though because of the ending the longer I can put off reading it the less time I have to wait for blood promise to come out! Yeah when im done with the vampire academy books I think im going to start either city of bones or blue bloods. I found this really good YA book forum the other day I’ve been lurking a fair bit on it it’s a bit like a lex/library thing and all the book discussions seem to be about books that we like twilight, VA, Morganville vampires, Even a certain slant of light has its own thread, they’ve got a 50 book challenge too and they discuss book covers and books to movies and things. It was weird really I felt tired all the time but also really buzzed and full of energy I cant really explain it but yeah I had to go on multi vitamins and was run down a lot from the lack of rest. It was weird though because it was only in the week then at the weekends I’d sleep right till 2 in the afternoon on a Sunday, my sleeping was really screwed up but it had its advantages for book reading! I don’t know how I snapped out of it either one night I just managed to sleep and I’ve been fine ever since!
Aww you should be more sympathetic to us talent less folk! Its no fun not being able to do anything cool! :(
Ahh yes it is highly entertaining. I love parks even now when I was little I used to love the climbing frames I used to imagine I was a pirate on a ship or in a castle I’d get all the younger kids to be my shipmates and the lark and run around fighting other kids to ‘‘protect me’’ *evil laugh* My favourite was the swing though, swings are just so much fun I love the whole sort of flying feeling.
Do they how much bigger are we talking? I’ve never been to America which is a let down because it’s the one place I really want to go to some day. If I haven’t been by the time im 21 then I’m going over for my 21st birthday!

Oh yeah but I got my vampire academy books from amazon.co.uk and evermore so I hope they sell it on there when it comes out too so I wont have to order it in from America. I cant wait to see the cover for it! I have a feeling though that they might do a hunted and have it on amazon.co.uk but then when it comes out take it off! Grrr that was most infuriating!
Oooh yeah a nice easy vamp read are you going to read crime and punishment when your done with your Morganville book? I really need to start that series but my plan is to get all my shorter vamp series’ read first like vampire academy, blue bloods, peeps because theres only two or three books out of them so far so I can get them read more quickly and bring down my TBR pile with series’ I want to read at least.
I wish I was like that come 11 and im nearly passed out in exhaustion I always tend to feel most awake in the afternoon. There was a point a year or so ago where I couldn’t sleep at night I had insomnia for about 5 months and I’d stay awake till on average 3, 4 o’clock in the morning and then sleep till 7 wake up and feel fine! Ahh I miss those days I got so many books read and didn’t feel tired at all! Maybe that’s why I get so tired now making up for all that lack of sleep!
Yeah I found that with Zoey considering her best friend was dying she didn’t really seem to care all that much…
OMG I would love to be able to raise one eyebrow it looks so cool my bf can do it and I love it! I’ve tried to do it many a time but it just doesn’t work :(
Yeah and me my nans got arthritis and my aunty got it when she was 17 she suffers from it really bad, I really hope I don’t get it but the way im going I probably will!
That sounds like so much fun! Me and my my friends do the same sort of things theres this one park that always has at least 3 shopping trolleys there all the time so whenever were there we always end up having a game of trolley wars! Which basically consists of a race in our trolleys down the hill one person pushes the other person in the trolley and whoever gets to the bottom of the hill first wins its so much fun although sometimes if you go to fast the trolley topples over and then you fall out and that can hurt. We also refer to each park as someones because we all freakishly live around the corner from a park so we’ll arrange to meet up at Jess’s park, Steph’s park etc. But the one we usually go to is Stephs park for the trolleys and the hill! Ahh I am such a child!

I have creaky bones too especially my ankles literally all you can here sometimes is crack crack when I walk, my bf thinks its from lack of moving because I sit in the same spot reading all night! Tis a worry that I’ll get arthritis early as I heard it can be pretty nasty. My rentals reckon my hands will just stick in a reading position one day and I wont be able to move them they’ll be all curled up in book holding mode!

I bet when you finish Jane Eyre you’ll be super happy. It’ll be really worth it when your done reading though I bet you’ll feel so accomplished! I’ve nearly finished reading before I die I should have it finished tonight I have to say its not as good as I thought it would be but its ok worth a read I feel terrible though because all the reviews keep saying how good it is and how heartbreaking and I feel like a monster for not liking it more than I do! I am enjoying it though…
Well I did really well with book shopping I didn’t buy one thing! My bf however well that’s a different story in the end he got a James bond book, the da vinci code (because he loves the film), Eragon and a thriller called want to play he basically got a bit of a selection to see what sort of books he likes best so that should keep him busy for a while! He finished the hunger games and he loved it so were both really excited for catching fire now! Whilst we were looking at books I just happened to notice that they had the new sarah dessen book in lock and key and its not suppose to be out yet I resisted buying it but my bf noticed me looking at it so he brought it for me :D He also wanted to buy me noughts and crosses because I was looking at that too but I told him Im not allowed it until I’ve finished some more series’!

My weekend was pretty good but tiring. Yeah that’s why I thought I’d start off with Jane Eyre and Wuthering heights then maybe make my way over to the Austen books have you finished Jane Eyre yet? I finished love lessons about half hour ago and it was pretty good worth a read so I’m going to start before I die tomorrow. Me and my bf are going to London for the day and he’s driving so I get to read on the way there and the way back seems hes not been driving for too long and hates people talking to him when hes trying to concentrate on the road hehe! Were also going book shopping for books for him whilst were there and I really really need to try not to buy anything its going to be so hard to resist with all those books right in front of me though if I come out alive I shall be lucky. I hope looking for books for my bf will take the edge off not buying books for myself!
OMG that’s so weird another freaky thing we have in common! I also eat with my knife and fork all back to front as well :D
Eeek! I know I really need to finish it soon before I start to forget whats happened so far and then will have to go all the way back to the start!

True, true both are pretty good times to be born but being 23 days off being an 80’s baby hits you pretty hard.
Yeah that’s exactly what its like!
Is it really that bad? Ok ok give me a clue does someone die? Like a main character?
I was having a look at Jane Eyre on amazon and I read the first few pages and it seems easy enough to follow so I may have to borrow that from my library at some point. I also read the start of Wuthering heights and found that to be the same I’ve always wanted to read Wuthering heights I really like the sound of the story so I may have to borrow that too then if I get on alright with them move on to a bit of Jane Austen. Oh yeah I love all the old fashioned English everyone sounds so polite and proper theres none of this chavy talk like there is today if you spoke like that then everyone would think you were an utter moron which is quite right too :D
Oh well actually Im quite odd and can write with both my right and left hand but I tend to write with my right and type more with my left :S
Hmm I don’t know its hard to say what he would like atm seems hes never really read anything before but going on what kind of films and stuff he likes I think he’d like some fantasy books maybe some sort of spy books too but nothing too young? Oooh that sounds like something he would like *takes note of book* I’m going to go book shopping with him soon to search for some books he might like I am SO excited!
Argh I know I’ve found another book/series I like the look of Malorie Blackman’s Noughts and Crosses I’ve seen it around but never really knew what it was about but it keeps coming up in my amazon recommendations so I had a nosey and its got some seriously good reviews twilighters are saying if you love twilight you’ll love this maybe even more so, so of course now I *must* read it! I’m not really sure what the storys about though I just know its some sort of love story to do with racism. I MUST not buy it though but its going to stay on my wish list until I get a few more book series’ out of the way.
Hehe I know! I don’t know why I keep putting it off because I liked AGATB although it was a tad confusing sometimes I found a lot of stuff wasn’t really explained and I don’t really get how the realms work but maybe we’ll find out in the next books hmm…

Yeah it really broke my heart watching her change so dramatically especially since I’ve knew her since she was a kid. At the end of the day though if she wont get help and just ignores me and her old friends there not much I can do but let her know Im here for her. Aww I’m glad your friend got better its so hard seeing someone you care about go through stuff like that its highly frustrating at times too.
Hehe yeah well snotty younger kids could test the patience of a saint so I don’t blame you for that!
Argh I really want to know the ending! But I don’t at the same time because I don’t want to spoil it but I keep hearing about this big ending and its driving me insane I *need* to know what happens! Frostbite and shadow kiss came this morning! *does happy dance* I love the front covers there rather cool! I’ve brought my friends book love lessons in to uni to start today at lunch I’ve got such a busy weekend ahead of me but im determined to read love lessons and before I die so I can start frostbite on Monday or at least early next week. Are you finding Jane Eyre hard to follow or is it easier than you thought? Yeah I think I’ll have a nose at her other books but I must not under any circumstances by them until I’ve read the stuff I already have!

Yeah that’s true maybe having to watch your money would curb your spending on books as well which cant be a bad thing really then you’ll *have* to get through all your other books.
I tried to do that but its really hard to figure out how much time its takes me to read a book because if I don’t have much work It’ll take me about a day and a half to read a book but if im really busy it could take me between 3 to 4 days no matter how good the book is because I just have no time to read so instead I’ve made a list of books I really need to try and get finished soon like rebel angels, the next two VA books, the last two it girl books so I can look at my list and finish books/series’ I’ve started before moving on to other books. Whether I’ll stick to my list or not with my addict ways we shall see but im going to try really hard to stick to it because my TBR pile seriously needs to go down.

So you were you born in 1990? I’m not that much older than you at all really seems I turned 19 just recently this year. Its still so strange how I met you on the lex and then we found out we had a freakish amount of stuff in common with books we like and where we live!
I have a few old pictures of my friends from when we were in year 10 and stuff and its crazy looking back and seeing how different we looked then.
Lol its weird how much people change isn’t it? Some people who I used to hang around with have changed so much. This girl who I’ve knew all my life became really screwed up she got raped by some guy and when she was 12 she got abused by her blood uncle so she started doing drugs and now she just drinks and stuff all the time and its really sad I tried to help her for months but she just wouldn’t have any of it so weve drifted apart now but I really miss her still and wish she’d get some help.
Lol did you? I never get angry really im probably one of the most chilled out people you could meet but when it comes to my friends and family especially my younger brother I can get pretty protective and mad when people upset them.
Oh yeah I just loved it, do you think it could be up there with the house of night? I really enjoyed vampire academy so if the others are as good I can see me getting all obsessed like with HoN. OMG really? I’m really scared now and also curious ahh I cant wait to read the next books!
I wonder if Richelle meads other books have dhampires and the like in or if there based on another world. I may have to check out her other books when im done with VA.

That sounds pretty. Oh im the same I only like them for show the candles are too near to my books to risk lighting them. Plus I don’t really like the smell of scented candles there ok but once they’ve been lit for a while they can smell a bit too overpowering.
Aww yeah you should really get some before you all go to uni. Me and my friends used to get loads but we haven’t got any in a while were normally having too good a time when were out now to stop to take pictures, but we do try to get some on birthdays and things.
Yeah I was never bothered about being friends with the popular crowd but my ex best friend was like a little Jenny she wanted to fit in with them so badly so when she started hanging around with them I did too but then she turned into a huge bitch so we didn’t stay friends when I left the group. Lol how come you used to be a bit too violent? I used to be so scared of confrontation and things I let a lot of people walk all over me when I was younger but in year 10 that all changed and now I just speak my mind and stand up for myself and if people don’t like me well then its no skin off my nose.
Yeah it definitely was hanging around with them brought down my confidence a lot but im a completely different person now and have great friends so its all good :)
Ahh yes Damien and his vocab I miss the HoN :( October cant come soon enough!
OMG I finished vampire academy last night and sweet Jesus it was awesome! I kinda suspected Natalie had something to do with the dead animals with how they kept appearing in her and Lissa’s room and no one could get in but them but I never pieced together how it could be because her dads dieing and Lissa can heal. Mmm Dimitri is so damn fine in my head I hope him and Rose get it together at some point but then that wouldn’t be good for Lissa if their both her guardians ahh its such a dilemma! I cant wait for frostbite and shadow kiss to arrive already! I heard in shadow kiss theres a really sad omg ending im so excited to read it. In the mean time though my friend gave me a book to borrow this morning love lessons by David Belbin its about a school girl who has an affair with her teacher she said its really good so I think im going to read that next seems its borrowed and all. I’m also taking backpack back to the library later and Im going to check out before I die if its there.
Hehe well I got lucky because my family order a lot of amazon so my rentals pay for amazon prime I think its £40 for a year and I just get the benefits from it and order off their account! Blimey that was a steal!

Yeah addict is a strong word but still once shes done with these rennison books and the hunger games maybe she’ll see the true beauty of the book world and become as hooked as us! My bf finished the host he really liked it he promised me he’d read twilight next but even though he liked the host he still isn’t mad about starting it because it’s a ‘‘love story’’ So I’ve done a compromise with him and he’s going to read the hunger games next instead because he likes the sound of that more.
Eeek! I know I have a scary amount of work to catch up on now seems I didn’t do any last night because I got hooked reading vampire academy, I probably wont start love lessons today because I really need to get some work done before I get addicted to another book so I may have to wait and start that tomorrow. Yay! I’m going to try and do my list over the weekend…

I have loads of candles and trinkets and little boxes and things. I got a bracelet from tiffanys for Christmas and I keep the little blue tiffanys box on display because it looks cool (even though theres nothing in it now seems I always wear my bracelet) I also have a wall in my room where I put pictures of me and my family and friends and I have like ribbons and stickers decorating them and tickets from gigs I’ve been to and things. I love my room its very me you walk in and you can tell a lot about me.
I hated school in year 7 and 8 I got in with the popular crowd and it was horrible you couldn’t trust any of them they were defiantly frenemies! Like they’d act all nice to you to get your trust so you’d tell them your secrets and then they’d use what they knew about you against you, and if a boy someone liked spoke to you then the whole group would call you a slut and not speak to you even if the guy was just your friend and approached you. So at the start of year 9 me and two other girls broke away from the group and hung out with each other and some other friends and we got really badly bullied by the popular group through year 9 for leaving but they eventually let it go and we were able to carry on with our lives. But year 7,8 and 9 were horrible for me at school, luckily my parents were really supportive they understood that I didn’t want to hang around with a bad crowd and I actually wanted to make some true friends and do well at school so it was good that they were there for me, and now I’ve got some really great friends and the girls who I left the popular group with are still some of my best friends now!
Oh really? Eeek I love it I’m half way through now I doubt I’ll finish it tonight with my homework but I should definitely be done tomorrow. I love Rose shes so protective over Lissa and shes so cool and feisty I love Dimitri and Mason too! *sighs* I’ll have to order the other two books off amazon now, more spending! I’m going to order them tonight actually because I *need* the other books asap! Luckily they’ve got them on amazon.co.uk so I only have to pay for the books themselves because I have amazon prime so I get free one day delivery!
I got the new pink nano for my birthday in January :) Really? I think you could be converting her into a fellow book addict! Is she enjoying it? She’s going to love the next two books there my favourite in the whole series.
Oooh yeah I’m going to freak out when your read the JP books I really hope you like them you *must* read the pact first! It’s my favourite! Ahh I really want to make a reading list for April!

Lol matalan how random. I find matalan and tk max really good for random bits and bobs sometimes. Tk max had this perfume in I wanted the other day for only £8 it was such a bargain! Aww I’m the same I have loads of little trinkets around my room that I cant bare to through away, I love collecting random little things I really am like a magpie. I used to have the figure of Anya too the one where she’s in the yellow dress I have no idea what happened to it though.
Really? How come you moved to a different school? I never wanted to work in the library with our mean ass librarian *shudders* It took all my courage just to go in to borrow books!
That’s good then stick with it Rach you’ve already made a good start on it! I managed to read a teeny bit of Vampire academy in between doing my work last night and I really like it so far. I’ve got more work to do later but I must at least read some of my book! That’s the thing with me whenever I start a really good book I always seem to get bombarded with work so I cant read as much of it as I’d like to, but I really must find a way of reading some more later its sooo good!

A to-read list for each month sounds like a good idea actually. I had *such* fun last night organising my little book journal I put in all my favourite quotes and my wish list and I copied the books I’ve read so far this year from my diary into my journal ahh I was in nerd heaven.
I really hope it doesn’t. But I think it will I heard they changed the ending too and if you read my sisters keeper you’d know why that’s a seriously bad move the ending just makes the whole book *sighs* I really think they need a book addict or two on the team when making a book to film adaptation they could really benefit from our ways!

*waits in anticipation* Yes it let me on! Now I just hope it doesn’t freeze on me and lets me send this message! *glares at screen* It seems to be ok again for the time being but I may see if my friend can pop round in the week to have a look at it anyways.
I used to have it on video but I lent it to a younger cousin years ago and have never had it back. I haven’t seen it on dvd so I’ve only been able to watch it when its on tv. It’s such a good song though I used to have the toy music box like Anastasia’s I loved it!
How come its so cold in your library? Sitting by a radiator sounds better in any case. I used to get a lot of swots in my school library as well. I used to hate our librarian she was sooo stuck up she literally hated us kids I have no idea why she chose to work in a school library.
Ahh well my plan to start it at uni didn’t work out seems it was pretty miserable weather outside and my friends tempted me to go to starbucks for a nice hot choccie instead! I’m not even sure if I’ll be able to start it tonight now because I’ve been given a stupid true life case file to do and they take agesss and I really want to sort my book journal out so its all organised *ocd twitch* So it looks like I may be starting it tomorrow instead now. Hehe I know! But they are highly cool and essential to us book addicts! Don’t mind them Rach they just don’t understand our ways! I was showing all my friends it today and if they thought I was a geek before they think I’m even more of one now. I tried to explain to my bf about my addictions today putting it in playstation form so he’d understand and he gets it all a bit better now. I told him that you being in Coventry to me was like one of his headset playstation friends being in Coventry and that made a lot of sense to him but he still thinks I reacted over the top *sighs*

Ahhh a freebie book is always a bonus my sisters keeper is amazing although completely heartbreaking its one of Jodi Picoults better known novels its actually been made into a movie and will be out this year but I have a feeling its going to suck big time seeing as they’ve got Cameron Diaz playing the role of a mother whos childs dieing of cancer, but we’ll see maybe she’ll surprise me.

*rushes in* Hi Rach my computer died on me AGAIN last night so I wasn’t able to come on here or the lex *breaths in LT air* ahh its good to be home! My computers seriously getting on my wick I wasn’t able to check if it was up and running again this morning so I don’t know if its still dead or not so if I don’t reply to any messages tonight then its because my computers still dead. I really need to get on to my friend to come and sort it out for me (he’s a computer wiz) my addiction cant take much more of this dieing randomly business!
It does doesn’t it? It’s like historical fiction, fantasy, and a love story all rolled in to one! It sounds like something I’d really enjoy so I’ll have to buy that at some point once I’ve read ACSOL. Oh yeah Anastasia! I loved that film when I was a kid, still do actually. I love the soundtrack as well especially once upon a December I used to sing that all the time when I was younger.
Lol yeah Rob did look magerly physco in some posters for twilight. I got really mad like nooo that’s not how hes suppose to look he’s a nice vamp! I really hope they bring out a movie poster of Jake…mmm I think Im becoming a little bit obsessed with Taylor and his bod.

My amazon order came this morning with my book journal in which is awesome! It’s even got a section where you can write your favourite quotes from books which I love I’m always finding quotes I like and writing them down on bits of paper that end up getting lost so that’s really cool I love all the little book quotes it has inside on each new section as well!
Yeah that was really strange! I might have to add that to my wish list too (which im now also going to keep recorded in my book journal)

Oooh I always have dreams about missing teeth. When I wake up my mouth usually feels really sore where I must have been frantically checking them in the night. In my dreams its so weird though because I can feel that there there but in my dream there still missing. My friend told me what it meant to dream of missing teeth but I cant remember what she said about it now.

Yeah there are loads of vamp books out now where vampires are the good guys yada yada that’s why I really like the sound of peeps because it goes back to the tradition of vampires being horrible things, which brings me to say that I found out after a mooch on amazon last night that peeps is out over here but its called Parasite Positive and the next book after it the last days is out over here too but they don’t have to be read together or one before the other because there about the same thing but have different characters so there loosely related but I want to read Parasite Positive first anyways and of course just seeing it there on amazon for £5 I just had to buy it! *sighs* I was very tempted to buy some more books but I resisted the urge! So buying one book wasn’t too bad I guess.

Yeah I don’t mind a few trance/dancey sort of songs in the summer but I can not stand all that happy hardcore stuff grrr it sounds vile!
Oooh yeah you should try and make a go of it over summer! I think I will get around to writing something in the future but possibly not until I’m all done with uni and things and have the time to get it just right. Lol that maybe wasn’t the best idea! You should show them to a friend who likes them sort of stories get their opinion as someone who likes to read that stuff. It is really hard to show people your stuff though I get so embarrassed in case they think its all just crazy ramblings! Sometimes my friends tell me stuff they think I should change and I used to really take it to heart but now I realise that even the best authors have good friends who think they should change parts! And it just makes the story better at the end of the day.
Lol how weird is that? Maybe all writers have a bit of a SM moment from time to time!
Ahh I’d never be able to write historical fiction all my dates would be all over the place and nothing would be accurate! That’s what I like so much about fantasy I think. No one can turn around and tell you that’s wrong because its your own little world and you can do anything!
Ahh yes after hearing about your book journal I had a mooch on amazon to see if they had anything similar on there and I found this cool little one with book quotes and stuff in so I ordered that along with my book! All book addicts need a book journal! Im going to get so addicted to writing in it!
I finished the truth about forever and I loved it! Which come as no surprise I think im going to either re-read the hunger games next or start a vamp book, ahh I really need a vamp fix!

Exactly I don’t see how its going to work really but I hope they think of something. I really hope they don’t choose really famous people to play the cast that always ruins it for me because I just don’t see that person as the character because their too famous and I see them as the actor if that makes sense? It’s fine with other films but when it’s a book to film adaptation I just don’t believe their the character.
Yeah I’ve gotta say evermore is pretty original in that way. Argh I know the drink whats in that drink!?
Ahh yeah I agree when Robs Edward he looks hot, in some interviews and pictures he looks hot but sometimes it looks like he’s been at a constant party for a week without sleeping or washing I guess that’s the look he’s going for but ewww its not nice for the ladies! Where as Taylors just HOT mmm. One thing about Taylor though I don’t know if its just me but do you find his voice a tad annoying? I think he sounds really weird sometimes!
So how did the sleepover go in the end last night did your sister and her friends keep you up much?
Lol and me! If im listening to music and reading I cant listen to my current favourite songs because I’ll just end up singing along and bopping to the music, so I tend to listen to some slower chilled out stuff. Sometimes I’ll just listen to bella’s lullaby on repeat because I find that really soothing to listen to whilst I’m reading.
I’m the same I don’t like a particular type of music or band or person so much I tend to just like random songs. I really love all music but I normally listen to chart stuff like Lily Allen, Kings Of Leon, Rihanna, Leona Lewis, The Killers. I like pretty much anything I’m really easy going when it comes to music.
Rocket dog shoes are awesome! I love them they can be really cute and girly but really funky and comfy too! For shoes like that I’d try Bank, Republic and two seasons which are all kinda in between the two waterstones. Ankle boots I’d definitely go to new look, maybe even new look for some cute pumps too they sometimes do some nice ones.
That’s a good idea trap your sister in stones and tell her she cant leave until she finds a new book to read!
Hehe I know what you mean my brothers had a poem published in something like that too and I was so jealous! It’s all very well having them published in magazines and stuff but to have them in a book! Eeek that would be awesome! And it was sooo annoying because my brothers really not into reading or writing much.
Oh yeah I do that all the time I have about 4 different story ideas all bungled together in my room with pages and pages of planning and ideas, but with me its not so much that I think there rubbish my friends and family have all read my ideas and thought they were really good its just that I haven’t got the time or patience to write a proper book. Theres one idea I have though that Im particularly fond of for a fantasy book I had a bit of an SM moment and dreamt some of the plot then I woke up and was full of all these ideas so I wrote them all down. The one thing I never have ideas for are girly books. My friends wrote two chick lit type of books and there really good but when I try to think of an idea for one my mind just goes blank because its all the same really boy meets girl yada yada and although I love reading that type of book I’d probably get really bored writing my own and would randomly add some mystical creature half way through to liven things up!
OMG a book journal? How haven’t I seen that before?! Ahh one of them would come in handy I might have to take a look for it on my next trip to stones! Which one did you get it from?

That’s what I thought I think its good that shes doing the screenplay but if she hasn’t had much experience then she may need some help! Oh yeah I never thought of that its going to be a bit awkward as a film kinda like how I imagine breaking dawn will be because the books aimed at teens and will have a lot of teenage fans but because of the content then it will possibly have to be rated older which is a bit rubbish for all the younger teens who love the book. Unless they tone it down but then that kinda kills the point of the book and the movie will more than likely suck.
Exactly our house of night books just look more funky kinda more stylish and modern. I really love our covers to the uglies series as well!
Oh and me I got all excited like omg is he a vamp!? Hehe wishful thinking I always thought that he was a vamp with how he carried that red drink around as well. My friend started reading it and she likes it so far too.
Mmm Taylor is HOT though and its weird because he’s really not my type at all but since he’s bulked up for new moon he’s looking damn good. It’s a shame he plays Jacob because that kinda kills it for me because I HATED Jake with a passion until he finally left Bella and Edward to just be together in breaking dawn when he imprinted with nessie. So when I’m watching new moon drooling over Jake I’ll feel totally disloyal to team Edward! :(
Lol that does sound like such a chore Rach! I love listening to my ipod while reading sometimes it really sets the tone to stuff and I tend to get even more lost in my book because the music just blocks everything around me out. What kind of music do you like?
Oh yeah I had a feeling it was this weekend because I remember you saying something about mothers day. Shoes hmm what kind of shoes are you after? Because our new look do a HUGE shoe collection downstairs so I’d recommend looking there. I bet you’ll more than likely fall into my waterstones again as well hehe!
Lol I found Blair completely crazy and irrational sometimes shes such a control freak its unreal. But all her devious schemes and plans had me in stitches I don’t think she was quite right. Yeah I think CVZ helps out a fair bit in it girl to make sure everything ties in with GG and Jenny acts well like Jenny.
It was so weird when my friend got pregnant because no one was expecting it shes really quiet and worked hard and she hadn’t slept with anyone except for this one bf who she’d been with for a few months and they used protection all the time but she some how still managed to get pregnant but she was 16 at the time 17 when she had him and she loves him to bits but shes not with his dad anymore and she hasn’t been able to do anything she wanted to do with her life. I don’t know how she or anyone copes I’m just so immature right now and feel so young still I couldn’t imagine that kind of responsibility. A lot of people I know are engaged as well and I’m just like what? :o your so young! It’s shocking as well that most of the people who’ve gone on to have kids and be stay at home mums done quite well at school. I’m not one to stereotype but when I found out a few of the girls were pregnant it came as a bit of a shocker!
Hehe I know! She normally just gives them to charity but she said if theres any she thinks I might like she’ll run them by me from now on :)
I’ve kept a diary since I was about 12. I’ve always loved writing when I was younger I loved writing short stories and stuff at school, and then when I hit my teens that changed into keeping diaries and writing poems. I write my diary every day religiously but my poems I only tend to write a couple a year I don’t like writing about just anything I have to be really inspired by something and then I’ll work on it for weeks getting it just right. A few of my stuffs been published in local papers and magazines and I even won £50 for one which was cool. My family thinks I should try writing a book but I’m too lazy and easily distracted and bored to be dedicated to writing a book.
Lol maybe it will not that keeping to that will be too hard for you ;) I’m loving my Sarah Dessen book I managed to read half of it today I doubt I’ll have it finished tonight though because I have a team alice party to attend on the lex but I’m hoping to finish it tomorrow after work.

Oh I know what you mean it just doesn’t feel right the other way it seems to fit together better when its on Katniss. Speaking of the HG someone posted on the lex saying that its being made into a movie with the author doing the screenplay. I think the movies either going to be really crap or really good but hopefully with Suzanne Collins on side it’ll be the latter. They better not screw it up!
Do you find that you usually prefer the British covers to the American covers? I always tend to prefer our covers better I think our HG covers much cooler than the American one and I prefer our house of night and harry potter covers. That is one good think about being a brit we may have to wait ages for some books but at least when they come out they come out in style!
Oh well keep me updated when she starts reading it! Hehe I know when I start talking about books I’m like the pied piper they get all entranced by the thought of all these wonderful books hehe!

Yeah I love Jenny! She’s just so sweet and normal. I loved Vanessa as well she was just so different. I liked Blair too but not in a I’d like to be friends with her way but she just used to act so perfect but really everything was a big mess. Yeah I love Kara and Brett I think their my favourite characters along with Jenny in It girl. I think Kara putting Heath in his place was in unforgettable...Ahh I really need to read the last two books I’m still curious as to who paid for Jenny to stay at Waverly. Did you know that It girls not really written by cecily von ziegesar? I watched an interview once and it girls actually written by a ghost writer whos one of her friends. CVZ gives her the basic plot on what she wants it to be about and the ghost writer writes it. I did suspect as much because it girl seems to be wrote differently to GG but before I knew I just put it down to being because it was a different series.
My year 11 sounds exactly like yours was. But Jeesh not even kidding half the girls in my year have had babies already including one being a friend of mine she loves him to bits but she finds it hard. I just couldn’t imagine being a mum at this age!
Ahh that’s ok then! That’s a pretty good idea, my friend gave me a book yesterday it’s a horror by Stephen Kings son she said it was really good but she doesn’t re-read books so once shes done she just gives them away so I was chuffed with that!
Oooh I did notice you’d joined! I’d like to join too at some point especially because im pretty good at keeping track with what I’m reading because I write a diary and at the back I keep a record of all the books I’ve read I’ve been doing it for nearly a year now (yes Im a geek I know) but I found I had to because I was literally buying books I’d already read and then getting half way through them and being like oh I’ve read this because its got to the point where I’ve read that much. So I might as well join when I’ve got a mo and keep a record there too. Aww poor Rach I’ll have a look and pop in and leave a comment!

Oh I know I used to read like really fast on the average getting through two books a day (this was before I started uni) but I’d read so quick that some stuff at the end I didn’t understand so I read slower now partially because I don’t have as much time as I used to but also because if I read too quick some parts im like huh? But I love girly reads because they don’t take much concentration!
OMG that would be like my worst nightmare imagine all your books ruined! *gnaws hand anxiously* Gosh I feel sorry for that woman. When I have my own house though books will be everywhere! I wont have just my bookshelves anymore I’ll have a whole house for storage *evil laughter* There will be no stopping my addiction then I could buy as many books as I like! *looks around nervously and gains composure*
Oh yes I love that! How you can choose Kat or Peeta? I have mine on Kat even though I love Peeta that’s how my book was when I picked it up so I haven’t changed it. Ahh I love the HG just talking about it makes me want to go and re-read it in fact I might just do that sometime soon. Oh yes book magpies I’m definitely one of those!

Hmm maybe it would be cool if it did because I seriously love it then I could get the funky English cover!
Hehe I know I really fear for my future I mean I can imagine me wanting to buy a house or something and I just wont be able to save my money it’ll all be going on books! Ahh well never mind maybe I could build a house out of books? Oh no scratch that if it rains they’ll get wet I cant have that! *twitch, twitch* Argh theres just no hope for me *shakes head in despair*
I want my brother and bf to read the hunger games too! I think they’d like it. It’s funny the cover makes it look more like its for boys but the only people I know who have read it have all been girls! OMG I used to adore the louise rennison books when I was younger there hilarious! I’ve read all of them except for the new one because I found the last one too young for me now which is a shame so I’ve stopped reading them because I don’t want to get all critical over them and start hating them. But when I was in year 9 they were like my favourite books I used to re-read them all the time. I watched the film as well and for a book to film adaptation it was pretty good! Again Im a little too old to love it but if it was out when I was younger I’d have loved it! I think your sister would really enjoy the books!
Eeek I know the GG books and it girl books are addictive! I didn’t find the old GG books young really because Serena and Blair and co were 17 and going off to college and the lark, but I think im going to feel a bit old reading the new GG books seems it goes right back to the start, but there so awesome that I don’t care!
OMG? Really they spat on them? That’s disgusting! When I was a prefect it was the same sort of thing I dislike chavs with a passion! Seriously its like they think they know everything when really their highly stupid and know very little.
It is really good so far I’m half way through and may have it finished tonight if I don’t get bombarded with lots of uni work today! The main character Tansy was really unlikeable in the beginning she’s a bit of a rebel and just spends all her time drinking and doing drugs and grieving for her mother but then she just wants to escape so she goes travelling around the world and ditches all her bad habits and meets new interesting people but its quite addictive because in every country she visits a young British girl who looks like her gets murdered and her friends from back home are worried about her and want her to go back but she wants to carry on travelling and thinks its just a coincidence but whether it is or not I’ll have to wait and see!
That sounds good and interesting too I’ve never heard of that one before. I’m sure by the time you message me back you’ll be done with it and on to something else!

Really TWO books? *gasps* How long did they take you to read? Were you up until the wee hours again? Reading is so much more tempting than boring work though.
Ahh that’s a good point. I only want to replace my copy of untamed when its out because I don’t mind with hunted so much because its hard cover and I really like the poster of Zoey inside! But I really want untamed to match the others *gnaws at hand*
Lol did you read all of the doctor who books? I do that sometimes buy a ton of books all about roughly the same thing because I go on a fad of certain types of books and I buy so many that I don’t get around to reading them all because I end up finding different books that I like. Ahh ebays a great way of book recycling sell the books you don’t want anymore to make money for books you do! Or you could actually do something sensible with the money but bah wheres the fun in that?

I went with my friend to the library earlier (the decent one not the JW lovers) because she had to return some books and I was telling her about how I fancied some nice summery girly reading with the weather being nice I really fancy something to put me in a summery mood so she found me a copy of this book she read last summer called Backpack by Emily Barr it sounds pretty good so im going to start that later me thinks :)

*dashes in* Hi Rach! Sorry for the late reply, my computer at homes dying so I wasn’t able to get on yesterday but it should hopefully be getting fixed tonight or tomorrow. Grr my addiction was not impressed last night when I couldn’t get on here or the lex I’m having to make do with a quick few posts whilst I’m at uni. On the plus I did manage to get some work done last night and finish hunted so maybe it was a blessing in disguise!
So I finished hunted and the end was really good and as usual im left wanting more. I can’t believe the next books not out until October and that might even be only in America. I really hope it comes out over here then too. I thought it was bad enough waiting a few weeks between each of the other books. I may have to read them all over again at some point before tempted comes out so I don’t miss the HoN too much. I have to say though that untameds still my favourite for once the new book didn’t over take the last book! Don’t get me wrong hunteds awesome but I really loved untamed!
And me I’d like to get to know a little bit more about Ever in the next book and her and Damens relationship.
Ahh I know I have a huge pile on my desk that I have no room for I could really do with having another book shelf fitted or something because I can’t bare to chuck anymore books away at the moment. Hehe I could imagine you trying to squeeze them all into your cupboard *you will fit god damn you!*
I was magerly happy last night because my bfs mums finished the twilight saga and his sisters on eclipse and shes really enjoying them so I’ll have newly converted twilighters to talk to, and my bf has started reading the host and he really likes it so far! Eeek! He’s going to read twilight after! Oh and my brother who never ever reads anything started reading stormbreaker the first alex rider book because his friend told him it was really good and he actually loves it! I read the first two books when I was in year 8 and loved them. I never got around to reading the others but if my brother buys them to read I might have to borrow them!
Have you started reading anything new? I think im going to start a Sarah Dessen book or an it girl book later I fancy something girly.

I thought I was like the only person on the planet who doesn’t like the twins! Well actually I don’t dislike them, I just don’t love them as much as the other characters their just doesn’t seem to be much to them really their a little shallow and they go on and on about Aphrodite being a bitch but then that makes them just as bad if not worse because Aphrodites actually ok now. I really like Aphrodite she comes off like she doesn’t care and shes this super bitch but really shes just kinda damaged and shes really loyal to Zoey. She reminds me a lot of Rose in twilight and I love Rose too for the same reasons!
Hopefully it will be out over here then too! Did you read about it in the back of evermore? It sounds most interesting. Yeah I think my main problem with evermore is that there wasn’t much character development I didn’t totally feel the love that’s lasted for hundreds of years between Damen and Ever and I actually disliked most of the characters I found Ever kinda depressive and Haven really got on my nerves the only characters I kinda liked were Riley who even got on my nerves sometimes and Miles. So I don’t know I might go back and read it at some point because like I say the whole wanting to read untamed thing didn’t help but it was such a chore to read it last time that its kinda putting me off. I will definitely get Blue moon to read when it comes out though coz I really like the sound of it so evermore cant have been that bad if I still want the next book!
Hehe you know that’s not going to happen Rach! I should really get back to rebel angels when Im done with hunted but I don’t know I also quite fancy reading the last two it girl books or a sarah dessen book or maybe blue bloods hmmm…Have you got your copy of blue bloods now by the way? Oh yeah Neferet aside! I don’t think I’ve loved so many characters in a book before I adore all of the nerd herd! Oh yeah Damiens just awesome hes so smart and cool and hes such a good friend to Zoey. I still love Stevie rae but I don’t love her as much now shes a red vamp I loved fledg Stevie rae!
Well your sure wizzing through them at the minute untamed down the memory keepers daughter down and pretty soon you’ll be done with evermore as well! Me too I’m going to try and get through some of my others now my house of night craze is all done with for the time being.
Yeah Erik did annoy me in some parts of untamed he’s annoying me in parts of hunted as well I cant see how anyone could like Erik over Heath!
Eeek I cant believe I didn’t like evermore. I totally ruined that book for myself by wanting to read untamed instead I should have done what I done with rebel angels and put it to the side. Thinking back on it I don’t really know what I didn’t like about it, but I must say I really loved Riley aww she was cool! What bit have you got up to?

I know! That’s one thing I love about the house of night books I basically love all of the characters I can’t choose a favourite because I love them all my favourite favourites though have to be Heath (duh) Damien, Jack, Grandma Redbird, Zoey and Aphrodite and Stevie Rae see its not a short list! Oh yeah the Raven mockers look really gross in my head they give me the creeps. It’s really good so far it starts off a lot like the host with them being in the tunnels and all and then some stuff happens and your like OMG! Are you going to order hunted soon or are you being a good addict and getting through some of your other books first?
Oh yeah I wonder if PC and Melissa Marr might be a little bit friendly? Hehe the only thing I didn’t like about untamed was the lack of Heathness ahh I missed him so much! Oh yeah Sister Mary Angelas so nice! I was watching an interview with P.C and Kristin last night and they were saying they agree on pretty much everything when writing the books except for one mager thing- who Zoey should end up with! One likes Heath and the other likes Erik but they didn’t say which one was which. But grrr the one who wants Zoey to end up with Erik must see the greatness of Heath before the final books. If Zoey ends up with Erik I’ll just die I mean I like Erik and all but Heaths just so sweet!

It’s really nice weather again here today, im at uni again (yay) but I’ve brought hunted in with me today so I might sit outside and read at lunch.

It’s a good job its not out over here really else I’d be snapping it up on my next visit to stones I’ve actually been sensible and told myself that ill get through some of my other books first and then maybe in a few months it might come out over here. If not then I might order it from amazon.com sometime in the future if I need some books from America. But I think it would be smart to read the uglies series first to see if I like his books before paying for peeps from America if it comes to that. I think its the first book of a series too *sighs*

God dang it! I found another awesome sounding book called peeps by scott westerfeld (author of uglies) but its not out over here just in america *tuts* typical I'm hoping it will come out over here eventually though. here's a discription if you wanted to check it out...

Eeek! I’m so excited and happy for you! Have you started reading it yet? Be warned once you start reading it you wont be able to stop! Oh and while your reading it see what I mean about not having to give the spine a good crack? It pretty much just falls open. I started reading hunted! I’ve only read 100 pages so far god knows whats wrong with me lately it seems like its taking me forever to read a book but I have no idea why and what im doing different, maybe im subconsciously trying to make hunted last! Hehe, so anyways OMG I freaked out because inside the book jacket there is a picture of Zoey! And you can see some of her tattoos and there so pretty nothing like I imagined there a lot softer than a tattoo more like henna but she looks pretty much like I imagine her to! I don’t know if other people have noticed it because I wouldn’t have found it if my jacket didn’t slip down while I was reading! You will have to check it out when you get hunted!

Hehe I know its fascinating as well that they seem to like being like that!
Lmao she does sound dopey, ahh some of the teachers I used to have were quite insane there was this one who used to carry a water bottle around with him all the time but everyone knew it had vodka in it. I think one kid even stole it from him once!
I think we done Macbeth at some point as well I quite liked doing Shakespeare when I finally got my head around what he was wittering on about. Blimey he doesn’t half make a simple sentence long and confusing!
Haha! That does sound a bit scary! Yeah I’ve just got the one younger brother. As you can imagine my brothers wayyyy taller than me we look so funny together because he’s tall for his age anyway and then you have little dwarfy me. I’ve always wanted a sister but all my friends who have sisters tell me its not as much fun as you’d imagine!

Is it just me or do you find it really annoying when chavs type? I mean theres not even one real word its all just like k bbz lv u, I mean I don’t mind the odd words to shorten things down there handy, but its just pure lazy to write like that all the time. It makes me laugh as well when they type something with the same amount of letters as the real word so really their not benefiting from it like l8ters I mean whats the point in that? *sighs* they are indeed a lost cause.
I’ve loved all my English teachers I’ve been lucky and had really nice ones ever since I can remember.
I done Jekyll and Hyde which I really loved it was really interesting and an inspector calls which wasn’t so great it was ok though. I think we done another one as well about a war solider but I’ve forgot what its called now, Oh and Romeo and Juliet but that was more studying the play. I know American English lessons literally consist of reading like all the time. We only had to read for exams the rest of the time it was all stuff from text books and worksheets.

Haha that would be hilarious! I wouldn’t mind so much them not having the book I want if I got some comforting time with Jasper!
I know how can anyone think books are boring? It annoys me though when you try and suggest something good for someone to read and they don’t even want to try it their just like no books are boring grr! This particular girl was of the chav kind though so I think it was more of a case as she cant read actual sentences that aren’t written in slang than the fact that she finds books boring. I had a really great English teacher at my old school I used to have long discussions with her about books she was a bit of a book addict herself but she managed to get lots of people from my year into reading by giving them good books to read instead of some of the boring school required reading. I used to like the school required reading myself but a lot of kids found it too hard going so it put them off reading altogether.
Hehe I want to read HP all over again at some point as well. I’m glad im not the only one!
Ahh if only! If my brother sees a sign on my door asking not to come in chances are he will bug me even more than he usually does because he knows I’m trying to read and he’ll find it highly amusing. I’ll tell him im doing something ultra boring instead so then he’ll leave me in peace hehe!

Oh they are so annoying and painful. I didn’t go into uni today because its just too painful to walk on but Im not hugely impressed because now I’ll have work to catch up on and I was suppose to be going out for my friends birthday tonight but I don’t think that’s going to happen now. I can’t wait to get the damn thing sorted out but I can’t even get into the doctors for him to look at it until late next week and I don’t think its going to get better on its own so im worried about falling behind. I could always pay a Chiropodist to come out and take a look at it but I haven’t really got the money for that, but I might have to as a last resort if its still too painful to walk on by Monday because I can’t miss too much time from uni.
Oh yeah I hate injections though I’m such a wimp with anything like that.
Hunted came this morning! I was hoping to start it today with not going to uni and all but I’m doing some work this afternoon to try and stay on top of things then my bfs coming around to keep me company tonight seems Im not going out for my friends birthday anymore so I think I’m going to start it tomorrow if I don’t go into uni again.

Oh yes that would be perfect! The staff at bookstores really do need some sort of training with how to deal with us addicts though. They don’t know what a mager blow it is to find that a book you want isnt in stock I think they should be ready with a chill pill and a list of recommendations of similar books to help soften the blow!

It is indeed! I remember reading the last bit of Harry Potter at school and I started crying- not buckets but a tear or two silently slipped down my cheek and this cow laughed at me for crying over harry potter! I was like have you tried reading hp? and she was like no and I was like maybe you should try it and see how good it is for yourself and she was like erm no thanks I don’t read, books are boring only geeks read *rolls eyes*
Oh I know I love her writing its like shes a teen herself her characters seem so real seriously though I haven’t read a bad book by her not even one that I’ve thought is just ok I’ve been like OMG that was great with all of them. Eeek! I really feel like reading one of her books again now! Do you ever get that? You talk about a book and then it all comes back to you how great it was and you just have to read it again? I think that’s the problem with my addiction when people talk about books I end up really liking the sound of them so then all my other books wont do I’ll have to get the one that im interested in at the time. I think that’s why I didn’t like evermore and why im not reading much of rebel angels as well because I cant properly get into them because both times Ive wanted to read my house of night books, but then as soon as there read im fine and can go back to what I was reading with no problem.
Hehe its ok like I’ve said above I think that’s my main problem its like I have to read the book I want NOW so I don’t mind (much) about spending a fortune because I have to have my fix of that book, wow I really do sound like an addict.

Oh I hate hospitals my brothers the same he seems to always be injured mainly through doing rugby at school so it feels like I spend half my life with him down hospital, its not good either because hes in year 10 and hes been missing a lot of time off school with it. Speaking of hospitals I may have to go for an op soon because this is really gross but I have an ingrown toenail (eek) and there really painful so I may have to have some of the nail removed (sorry if this grosses you out!) and ive never had to have an operation before I’ve been really lucky so I’m really nervous about it! I’m not sure if I’ll have to have one yet so fingers crossed I don’t! But my family think im getting too worked up over a simple op but it’s a big deal for me when I’ve never had to have one before!

Haha Im exactly the same! I’ll think of what I wanted to say like hours later and im like god brain why do you not work properly?
I know! If I worked in a bookshop I’d be a lot more sympathetic when people cant find the book they want because I know how torturous that is! I think they all need lessons from us Rach in how to handle a book addict.
I know people who post spoilers must be highly stupid I mean whats the point? surely they must think that the whole reason people look at reviews is to decide whether they want to buy the book or not so why post whats going to happen? Grrr! I constantly moan at people if they’ve posted spoilers because its so annoying I don’t mind if they warn me saying spoilers are ahead but when theres no warning its just so annoying.
Ahh I love being a nerd! I think we have much more fun than regular people. I’m just myself and well if people think im weird well that’s their problem.

I’m so happy that your reading Sarah Dessen books! I love them because when you fancy a break from fantasy books there perfect and there not part of a series so you can just pick them up whenever and there all really good! She has a new book coming out called lock and key in April I can’t wait for that! Ahh I really fancy re-reading one of her books now or I might buy The Truth About Forever on my next trip to stones I think that’s the only one I haven’t read by her…Although its hard to remember since the first book I read by her was when I was 14.
Ahh see I was quite a late twilighter I first heard about them when the film come out I’d seen them about before that but I always thought they wernt really my thing with them being about vampires. But then I kept hearing really good things about the books so I caved in and gave twilight ago and my addiction to vamp books started there. I’m so glad I didn’t go and see the film before reading the book though even though it was out I wanted to read the books first and im glad I did! I know I read them 3 times over before I finally moved on to another book!
Oh no Rach don’t you be shocked at my book addict ways thats when you know you need to be locked away for good when a fellow book addict is shocked! *stares guiltily at the floor* Yeah I got the priority shipping but they’ll be here TOMORROW! So I’m really happy about that *insane giggle, twitch* However I cant start hunted until Saturday because Im going to be really busy tomorrow and Friday but I think ill definitely be putting rebel angels aside to read hunted!

Haha I know why does that always happen? Any other time you can remember stuff like that but as soon as someone asks you and your put on the spot your like ermm I don’t know! Some of my girlfriends are like that too one in particular shes one of those that just hangs around with us because shes friends with a good friend of ours but my god shes a skank shes well known for stealing peoples bfs even friends bfs and she flirts with everyone anyway but when shes drunk shes even worse. One time she was deliberately sitting on my bfs lap stroking the back of his neck infront of me and he just looked really embarrassed and was like erm I’ve got to go but she just wouldn’t leave him alone grrr she annoys me to no end.
Oooh yeah read rebel angels then we can talk about it! Even though at this rate I wont be finished with it until Christmas hehe! I think that sometimes if ive got free periods I’ll take a book into uni but I never get around to reading it I mainly get dragged into my friends rooms or something.
Oh I know *reminisces over reading the twilight saga for the first time* I read all the books one after the other each taking me a day then breaking dawn taking two and after that I just wasn’t the same for a while I couldn’t pick up another book for a few days because I was like hmm its not twilight! I had serious withdrawal issues the first vampire book I picked up after twilight was marked and I wasn’t sure whether to read it or not but by that point it had been a week or two after I finished twilight so I was ok and didn’t compare it.
Well I just placed my order and it come to £62 for hunted and tempted I literally had to peek from behind my hands I was so scared I don’t think I’ll be telling my rentals I spent £62 on two books. Else I fear they’ll lock me away for good this time!
Hmm I was having a mooch through reviews for city of bones myself and like you im not sure whether to buy it now I like the sound of the story and im tempted by people talking about it on the lex and the recommendation from SM but I don’t know. I’ve also found another two books I want from my amazon recommendations (god damn those!) ones called Stray by Rachel Vincent and the others called touch the dark by Karen Chance they both have lots of really good reviews as well so I’m thinking about buying those instead, but yet again there part of a series *sighs* will it never end?!

Yeah that’s true us Brits have some very odd phrases some probably even more bizarre than Americanisums!
Well Rach todays the day! I’ve been to borders, waterstones and smiths and they all say the same thing its not out until September over here. I also looked on amazon.co.uk and its not on there so I’m going to have to order it from amazon.com later tonight *sighs* Someone read it already on amazon.com and wrote a good review for it so I’m hoping that other person who wrote a review was just a critical reader.
Aww thanks Rach! I know what you mean I’m quite happy with a coke! I don’t drink much just because I don’t see the point really on spending loads of money and feeling rough the next day. The same with my bf he likes to look after himself so he’ll rarely drink and if he does its usually just a beer with the guys down the pub but its literally just like one beer lol! Oh I had a look and I think its just who there published by because my American gossip girl books you still have to crack the spine so it must just be books by that publisher. But it would be great if all books were like that you’ll see what I mean when they arrive!

Maybe its just the books I ordered then. I’ve only got two American books evermore and untamed and they just sort of flop open you don’t have to crack the spine at all so once there read they still look nice and new take a look when you get your copys. There published by the same people though so that could be why.
You know American and English books? Well when a books published over in England is it exactly the same as whats been published in America or are some americanisums changed to more English words? I’ve always wondered…
Eeek that’s not good I really hope amazon.co.uk gets it back in stock else I’ll be spending a small fortune to ship it over again. Really? I wonder how they managed to read it with it not being out in America yet unless their an actual book reviewer and that could explain them being critical and them reading it before its out. I can’t imagine hunted being bad untameds just so good and has so many interesting things going on at the end I don’t see how they could screw hunted up if anything the books seem to be getting better as they go on. We shall see in good time!
Oh I know the sweet far thing scares me. I want to read it but I know im going to keep putting it off because half way through a really long book I end up wanting to read something else and sometimes ill take a break from it and go and read something else and then I end up never getting back to the book and I don’t want that to happen with the sweet far thing!

Hehe I know I’d be awful looking around the shops in Paris I’d end up spending a fortune and not being able to buy any books for like a year.
Maybe I don’t think humans and souls would ever be able to live in peace because sadly like souls say humans are fairly violent and all the crimes and things would start again and all the souls would be having panic attacks every five minutes. Unless because of everything that’s happened the humans appreciate the world more and take better care of it and the people in it, but im sure even then that would only last for a while the novelty of having their world back would soon wear off.
I know! I’ve got infamous which is even more annoying because it will just be sitting there waiting to be read. Im seriously considering moving to America just so I can actually read the books I want to read. Exactly although im not sure if hunteds even coming out over here on the 10th of March because amazons not selling it now and when I’ve looked for it on the borders and stones website it doesn’t even come up which is odd for a book that’s coming out in a few days. I hope it does come out over here on the 10th because I seriously need it and will have to spend a load of money shipping it over again because I cant wait for it to come out in paperback over here on 3rd September. We’ll have to both keep are eye out for it and if one of us manages to get it then we must tell the other straight away!

It’s out over here on the 1st of April and it’s the start of another new series with the next book to it coming out sometime in April as well.
Heres a description for it…
Bianca is none too happy when her parents become teachers at Evernight and enroll her in the spooky school. I know! Has your computer ever crashed since you got addicted to the lex? I’m not sure if I’ll be able to cope *shudders*
I’ve only ever been to Paris and I think that’s where I’m going with my friend for her birthday I’d like to go to the south of france somewhere quieter with some nice beaches and things. I think if I keep at it I will get the hang of it I’m fairly good at remembering things so if I keep practising my French I might be able to say more than what my names is by the time I go over!
Lol really? She sounds like a right cow. It’s good that your bf see’s through her though whats even worse is when your bf thinks she’s really sweet urgh!
Yeah I think there will be a sequel but I don’t see where it will all lead because I don’t think the humans will ever be able to get earth back theres just not enough of them to take on a whole world of souls but now they know how to take a soul out of the hosts body maybe they’ll slowly repopulate the earth that way but then I don’t know how there all going to stay in hiding away from the souls with so many of them hmmm. Yeah I loved the end with Ian and Wanda and he thought she was beautiful even when she was just a silver soul. Jareds ok I didn’t dislike him but Ians my favourite :D Aww I know I loved Sunny she seemed really cute! I wonder what SM’s working on now. I heard that shes trying to finish midnight sun but I also heard she needs a break from the twilight world so shes writing something else. I’d love to know what shes working on!
I started reading the 5th it girl book lucky in my free period today and I’ll need tempted after that so I went for a hunt in borders stones and smiths and nowhere has it in! and its still not on amazon.co.uk so at this rate I may have to spend a fortune ordering it in from amazon.com and then it’ll have a different cover! *slams fist on desk in anger* Again damn you british publishers!

Argh I know I really hope it doesn’t die on me else I don’t know what I’m going to do :( At least I’ll still have the computers at uni to feed my addiction hehe!
That sounds like fun I wish my school done stuff like that we never got to do anything exciting. That sounds nice so did you get to meet up with Lea while you were over there? I might be going over to France for my friends 19th birthday at the end of June the last time I went to France I was 10 so it’ll be nice to go now when I can appreciate it more. Theres this French guy at my uni called Ray and he’s such a sweetheart he keeps trying to improve my French for when I go over but I just cant get the hang of it!
I know I think it was just the library I applied to because the other one in Coventry town has really friendly staff not young but at least their nice, but the one by me urgh they annoy me.
Oh I know exactly the type your on about does your bf know what shes like or does he like her?
OMG Rach I finished untamed last night and OMG it is the BEST one yet so much stuff happens from start to finish and you get to find out what Nefrets up to. You will love it I can’t wait for you to read it to talk about it! I NEED hunted more than ever now! You must read it as soon as it arrives!
Yeah! Oh how I love Jeb hehe ‘‘this is my house!’’ and with his gun! he’s so insane yet clever! And Jamies such a sweety he reminds me sooo much of Seth! Oh yeah the seeker reminded me of Victoria soo much I hated her with a passion and I love Ian I’m definitely team Ian rather than team Jared. Oh I hated it when Wes died poor guy. You’ll have to let me know when you finish it. I found the start pretty boring but once they got to the caves and you met Jeb and everyone I started to like it then.
As for me I’m thinking of starting either the luxe later or another it girl book I fancy something gossipy and girly.

God damn in! I’ve managed to get on LT tonight but the Lex keeps freezing on me now! *has anxiety attack* This sort of thing only tends to happened when my computers about to die, and if it dies…well then I die. Does the damn thing not know I have addictions? *glares at computer*
Hehe your addiction to LT is probably due to lex withdrawal your addiction has to go somewhere! Ahh I do love me some good LT time though!
Aww that’s sweet, you were in France for your 18th? That’s cool did you plan to go over there for your bday or did it just kind of happen to fall on that date? What did you do over there for your birthday? Is Lea the same age as you? (Sorry if im being really nosey again)
It would be sooo good working in a bookshop I really want to but I’m really not sure if it would be healthy for me. I did ask about a job in stones once but they didn’t need any staff :| I also applied to work in a library by me but everyone else who worked there was really old and kind of snobby and looked at me like ‘‘oh my what is a TEENAGER doing wanting to work in a library? It must be a practical joke’’ So I changed my mind about wanting to work there.

Really? I can’t remember seeing any either I always get literally lost in the twilight books though it doesn’t even feel like I’m reading its like I’m there watching it all so I was probably too lost in the story to notice.
Lol that’s true for you, I cant wait for you to read it there are so many OMG moments from the very start your going to love it I think I like it best so far. The bit im on at the moment is so intense I can’t wait to get back to reading it later!

Oh yeah I hated those bits I think I skimmed past a few. As you read on I think you’ll see some of the characters are a lot like the characters in twilight theres definitely another Carlisle and Seth but I’ll leave you to see what I mean about that. I’m sure when you read about their characters you’ll know who im on about ;)

Hey Rach, sorry I didn’t message you back yesterday my library thing kept freezing and I was most annoyed. I think I’m becoming addicted to LT as well as the lex!
Lea as in your French pen pal? Do you buy each other Christmas pressies? That’s so cool! Lol clueless till guy. I’d love to work in stones or borders I think it would be very bad for my addiction though and I’d probably scare away loads of customers with my crazy book addict ways I’d be trying to persuade everyone to read twilight the house of night etc *giggles* I wonder if you get discount working there? Hmmm *ponders*

Me neither I’m definitely not a critical reader as long as I like the characters and the story has a good plot that keeps me interested them I’m fairly happy. Sometimes I do find mistakes and things but it doesn’t annoy me that much if Im enjoying reading it anyway. Like the house of night books they aren’t brilliantly written but it doesn’t bother me at all because the characters are so lovable and the plots sooo good!
Which reminds me that I still haven’t finished untamed I’ve been pretty busy the last few days so I’ve had hardly any time to read its really good so far though I’m hoping to finish it tonight or tomorrow at the latest.
I know I’ll never forgive JK for that I was magerley gutted when Hedwig died as well I mean what was the point in killing the innocent owl? *sniffles*

Lol you gave your friends twilight for Christmas? That sounds like a good idea I might do that this Christmas if they haven’t read it by then already then they’ll be more tempted to read it with it just sitting there hehe! *plots*
That’s the same with me I have 4 friends who I adore but their friends with these two girls I don’t like but I kinda have to put up with them to keep the peace but luckily they don’t hang around with us that much.
I prefer just hanging about with my close girlfriends, guyfriends and boyfriend anyway than being in a big group its always much more fun!
I wish my bf was more into books he only reads autobiographies on people he likes but hes promised me he’ll give twilight a go so that might all change! I’d love to be able to go book shopping with him without him getting bored and nagging me.
Hehe I know im not going to tell him about my lex addiction because I’ll probably just get one of his ‘‘looks’’

It was like JK just picked random names out of a hat I mean I don’t mind characters dieing if theres a reason behind it but to just kill people randomly without explaining why annoys me to no end because its just like she done it to make it all sound more dramatic.
Hehe its good to know im not the only one! Everyone else would be upset at losing their home but I’d be more upset about my books. Ahh I really need help.

Yeah that’s a good point Im going to keep my eye out for it when I go book shopping anyways. I’ve got it on my amazon wish list as well in case it comes back in stock before the paperback comes out.
That’s it convert all your friends! My bf informs me that his mums finished twilight and shes passed it on to his sister so im to bring new moon around for her when Im over next. I can’t wait to talk to her about it and hopefully his sis will have started twilight then so I can speak to her about it too!
I know! I very nearly bit his head off when he literally dragged me out of the shop because his mum was cooking dinner for us so we had to get back tut. Hehe my bf thinks im very insane with my book ways he doesn’t really know about my addiction to the lex seems I mostly go on it round mine its like my guilty pleasure he knows I go on it but he doesn’t know how addicted I am, one less thing for him to worry about I say! *giggles*
Oh yeah reading really tires me out too its just so relaxing (unless your at a really crucial part and then its all very intense) So I love but hate reading before bed at the same time because I get addicted to the story and want to read more but my eyes just wont have any of it. Jeez the woes of being a human and needing to sleep.
My bfs younger than me as well! But only by a couple of months. I don’t feel comfortable talking to people I don’t know either because I am rather odd and will just talk about random stuff. It’s not until I know someone really well that I’ll completely let go and be myself and then they just accept that I go on about weird stuff sometimes. I think I talk about so many random things because I live in my own little world half the time so what I say makes perfect sense to me but not to other people who don’t know what ive been thinking in my head for the last 15 minutes lol!
I cried reading the last HP too I know what did Fred ever do to JK? I was like noooo that’s not fair why?
Tis true my rentals always say if there was a fire I’d be more concerned with saving my books *blushes* and their kind of right. If I couldn’t read I don’t know what I’d do its just my way to leave my mind for a while and relax. Seriously I think going blind is one of my biggest fears, yeah theres audio books but it just wouldn’t be the same!
I normally have to work Saturdays too but sometimes I’ll have the odd Saturday off and work my free periods in the week instead that’s one good thing about working for family I can have Saturdays off if I want as long as I make it up in the week if I want to get paid. So I normally hang out with my friends in the evening.

Lol I do that as well and I’m then convinced its happened. It says on amazon.co.uk that envys coming out in paperback on the 7th May so theres not too long to wait if its not already out. Saying that amazon got it wrong about chosen being out so maybe envy will come out even earlier. Oh cool do you know how many theres going to be out in total?
That’s good then lets hope it gets to you quickly so we can talk about the greatness!
I’ll have another look for the Philippa Gregory books next time I didn’t get a proper chance to look properly because my bf was rushing me so I’ll be able to have more of a mooch on my next visit. If not I’ll have to get ordering off amazon because I know there on there.

Really? Hmm interesting. I cry a lot when reading if something sad happens I can’t help it. I get really angry as well when something I don’t want to happen happens I’ve been known to punch a wall before when some horrible character got his own way. When I told my parents I had to punch the wall else I would have threw my beloved book and probably damaged it they gave me some very concerned looks haha! How I’d rather hurt my fist than damage my book.
Exactly I see my friends and bf at uni and then I’ll do something with my friends at the weekend usually like shopping on a Saturday or meeting up for a drink or something and then I’ll usually see my bf one week night or on a Sunday. But sometimes I’ll stay in my friends room at uni for a bit before I drive home but I like having the evenings to myself to do my work go on the lex and read.

I saw on Amazon that Envy’s out now but in hardcover amazon.co.uk itself doesn’t sell it though but its on amazon.com grrr why can’t it just be on amazon.co.uk as well? Amazons really getting on my last nerve! I went to borders earlier and got the Luxe think I’m going to read that when im done with untamed (which I’ve only read 50 pages of so far when I should have been doing uni work and I’m already like OMG!) I’m nearly done with my work now though so I can get into bed and read some more of the greatness later. I tried to find some more Philippa Gregory books but I couldn’t see any so I’ll have to keep my eye out for them on my next trip to waterstones see if they have them there.
Ok hon don’t worry about it! What sort of party you going to? Have fun! ;)
And me if I ever had kids I’d probably have a nervous break down because I like my own space. I’ll probably change my mind and want them when I’m older but now and in the distant future…no thanks! Ahh I can be really anti social too I love the saying ‘‘people say lifes the thing but I prefer books’’-so true! But I do try and make the effort to see my bf and friends a few times in the week else I would become quite unpopular with them!

Their card where you get points to get new books I get so excited about that! Oh have you not read the host yet!? It’s pretty good I didn’t like it at first but then I really got into it after getting past the first 80 pages. I don’t like it as much as twilight though.
I hate speaking on the phone because it feels like you HAVE to keep the conversation going you cant just sit quietly in comfortable silence like you can speaking face to face and my friends tend to talk forever so I end up never getting any uni work done when I could of said everything I needed to say in a quick txt or email or something. Lol I sound so moody but *shrugs* I just don’t see the point in speaking about nothing for ages when I’ve got stuff to do and I’ll be seeing them all day the next day or something.

Hi Rach! Did you finish Rumours last night? What did you think? I’m finally finished with Evermore and over all I thought it was ok. I didn’t really like any of the characters that much and the relationship between Ever and Damen was poor they had zero chemistry and had no interesting dialogue. It did have its good bits though so I’ll probably read the next book Blue Moon when it comes out it has a description of the story at the end of evermore and it sounds interesting. I think this next one will be better now the foundations all set down. But hey it could have just been me wanting to read Untamed so you’ll have to let me know what you think once you’ve read it.
I’m going to rush around getting all my uni work done this morning so then I can just relax and start untamed later eek! I know how you feel with not being able to read it I was like that when you told me you had chosen I couldn’t rest until I had it and it was torture knowing you was reading it and I couldn’t but at least I got my copy pretty soon after, its going to be hard for you having to wait so long!
Oh I know I can’t say I want kids of my own I don’t particularly like kids unless their family and even then I can only handle them in small doses. I find they just tire me out you’ve got to keep them constantly entertained and im not that sort of person. I don’t mind being alone, I like to just chill and read I’m not someone who has to be doing something exciting 24/7.
Ahh I know I was like take that boring person!
I Like the look of the Clique books I might start them myself when I’m done with my it girl books.
