I notice that you live in Poughkeepsie--I am a family history researcher, and a lot of my family history is centered in Putnam County, around Garrison--early enough that it was at one time Dutchess County prior to becoming Putnam County. I've enjoyed my visits there to do research on my ancestral lines in that area--never been to Poughkeepsie itself but have spent a lot of time in Cold Spring and Brewster (with a researcher helping me with the older Dutchess County records). I love the Hudson Valley!
