About meI am a Chicago crime fiction author with two series. My 5th novel, EASY INNOCENCE, introduced PI and former cop Georgia Davis. My other 4-book series features video producer and single mother Ellie Foreman.

My sixth novel, DOUBLEBACK, (October, Bleak House Books) pairs both protagonists in a thriller that begins in Chicago but ends in the high desert of Southern Arizona. In addition Poisoned Pen Press is re-releasing AN IMAGE OF DEATH, my third novel which features both characters. I have also published over 12 short stories and had the privilege of editing the crime fiction anthology, CHICAGO BLUES.

All that started because I was -- and continue to be -- a voracious reader.

About my libraryI tend to read crime fiction more than anything else, but am interested in contemporary fiction, politics, and history/biographies. Hope to get interesting suggestions at Library Thing.
