About meI'm a librarian in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I had two boy cats (Io, 12 years old, and Angel, 16 years old), and I volunteer with rescue cats, as well. RIP Angel, who just passed on Oct. 13/15. I love you.

I am back to two boy cats again. Io is still with me (12 years old) and I recently brought home Kells (about 5-1/2 years). Once they are mingling a bit more, I hope to get pictures of the two of them together to post.

About my libraryI read a wide variety of stuff.

When rating a book, I do use half and quarter stars, as I like to "rank" books in comparison to each other. As a general rule, though:

2 stars = I didn't like it
3 stars = it was o.k.
3.5 stars = it was good/I liked it
4 stars = I really liked it

I do rank things, though, so you might also see 3.25, 3.75, 4.25 stars, etc.
