Dear Linda,

I just saw your query on my Club Read 2013 thread - the answer is that The Linen Way is available from the publisher,, in a range of formats, including for the Kindle.

Tim Jones
I just finished reading Kristen Lavansdatter. The ending took me to such a different place I felt like I wanted to start reading it again with a shifted perception.
Just read your review of Kristin Lavransdatter, which I am currently reading. It was well written and I find your perspective on it to be helpful.
Thanks for all your generous comments, Linda. I've used the "interesting libraries" feature in a hit or miss fashion, but decided recently to be more systematic about it. It helps when I'm considering reading or buying a book to be able to see at a glance who might already have it from among the people whose opinions I know I can trust. It also makes the "connections" segment of the home page more meaningful.

Even though I've used LT daily for more than two years, there are still features I haven't yet explored or made full use of.
ok the code is found under Share on a photo's main page in flickr. You also can designate an appropriate size.

p.s. I sent you a comment with the picture in it but it disappeared. Ha! Serves me right for thinking I could tell you how to post pictures.

let me know if it shows up
So, when I go to Flickr I choose the photograph and on the photo's main page you select "share". Under Share you can designate an appropriate size, and then copy the code. When you get back to LT, you just enter the copied code onto the thread.

I'm going to try one here, but I don't know if we can put photographs in the comment sec ion

I saw in Ellen's thread that you are looking for a way to post pictures. There are several different ways, and maybe some easier than the one I use, and I will just tell you how I do it.

First I have an account with Flickr. After I hae the photograph on my computer I go to flickr and add it to my "inventory" there. Then I open the picture on Flickr and there is a place which you can select for Sharing. I copy the code, go to LT and the thread where I want to post, open a new message and put the copied code there.

I'm going to go over to Flickr right now and get the "official" vocabulary for you.

Hi Linda, if you check out my thread you will see that you lit a fire under me and now I'm going to see two fairly well known authors. Thanks for the nudge.

Take care,
