About me Why, yes, I *do* use all of those cookbooks.

About my library Concentrations in English and American history and biography, primarily 19th century. Quite a few Folio Society volumes, for both their content and their wonderful construction. As a librarian, I tend to use LC subject headings (slightly modified) for my tags.

I read your review of The Johnstown Flood by David McCullough. Thanks for sharing the information on the topography, it sounds a bit terrifying given the town's history.
I've never heard of On Christmas Day in the Evening. Is it good? I love to read Christmas stories, they help me to get excited before the holiday begins.
