Hi Lindsay,

I adore the 1001 Artist's Journal pages book! I tried to read it by limiting myself to a few pages at a time so I could savor it. I dabble around with art journaling and altered book making and I love to look at what others have done. How about you?

Two things really sparked my interest while reading your profile and looking at your library. The first was that you listed Rumer Godden, Madeleine L'Engle and Anne Lamott as favorites. I love all three of them beyond all reason. Then, I read your review of Karen Armstrong's The Spiral Staircase. I too feel like Ms. Armstrong managed to articulate my beliefs much better than I ever will. In fact, I feel like she crawled inside my head and read my thoughts. It's not very often that you find a book that reasonates like that one.

Would you like to keep in touch? I'd love to know what you are reading now.~ Leslie
Hi,
I had to leave you a note because we seem to have such similar taste in books. I just read a few of your reviews...loved 'em! I'll be looking here for more recommendations in the future.
Lindsay, Yeah for picking up the pen again! That is the nicest praise for The Wednesday Sisters I've yet heard! And I would love to meet you in person if you can make it down to Ann Arbor. -Meg
