About meI'm Ohio-born, California-educated, and I currently reside in Tennessee, which makes me well-traveled if you don't define well-traveled too stringently. I work in the Technology field testing software, which ensures my placement somewhere near the top of the geek ladder, and I love talking about books from either side of the fence, as a writer or a reader.

I'm an author who might never have been published if not for writing contests. Lacking the courage to submit directly to agents and editors, I began entering my work in RWA chapter contests. After 60+ finals and placements on four different manuscripts, a final round editor judge in the Florida Romance Writers Golden Palm contest requested the full manuscript of "Fire at Midnight" and subsequently offered me my first contract.

About my libraryMy library is an amalgamation of new and old, mostly the result of years of avid book collecting, but it's also a multi-generational library containing tomes belonging to my mother and sister and spanning several decades.

Noticed you liked I Never Promised You a Rose Garden, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a disturbed young girl's mental illness and also a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:
