GroupsEarly Reviewers, What Are You Reading Now?

About my libraryWelcome to the Library of Anjin and Literary Feline. It is mostly filled with books that have yet to be read, some have been read by one and not the other, and an occasional few have been read by both.

Admittedly, most of the books have been collected and are waiting to be read by Literary Feline who not only has a passion for reading, but most likely is addicted to books. Anjin is the more healthy reader in the family. His tastes are more discerning and he generally reads the books he wants to read as they come in, unlike Literary Feline who seems to collect them at an alarming rate and save those she cannot read right away for a rainy day. Given that they live in a rather dry climate in California, that isn't often enough.

I'm so glad it finally arrived. I loved this book! I thought of you, just because I was so entranced by her writing. Let me know if you like it. Hope you are doing great. Wisteria
Good! I was starting to think that it was lost in the mail. Lastly I have a recommendation, Y: The Last Man It's one of my more favorite Graphic novels.
Hi Literary Feline....I'm so glad it finally arrived. I guess there were some problems with the shipping this year for the Santa Thing. I am glad you like the Chadwick book. I had sent two books to you. Please let me know if and when the other one arrives. Thanks...and enjoy. Wisteria
I hope you both like it! It is rather strange to say the least!
I want to thank you for my Santa Thing Book(s). I just recently received one of the books [The Woman in White] and I have to say it looks interesting. I hope to be able to fit it into my 11 in 11 challenge. I hope you had a wonderful holiday season!!

Monica
Thank you for my SantaThing books, it looks like you've done a fantastic job with your choices! I was hoping for some books by new authors, and I haven't read anything by the authors I recieved. It seems like a fourth (!) book was added by Abby, so they will keep me entertained for awhile. I will be including all of them in my 11 in 11 challenge, probably in late Jan/Feb if you're interested in stopping by to see what I thought of them.

I hope you had/are having a wonderful holiday period.

Alana
I just love your 'about my library' section and your library collection is amazing! I'm definitely going to be stalking out your library for books for my wish list!

Noted: Stalking your library, not you! Just so we are clear. lol.

Cheers,
Charlie
Hello! I am always happy to meet more people and we have quite a few books in common. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Hello:

Love your bookshelf...we certainly do have a lot of books in common.

Have a great day.

Elizabeth
Thanks so much for the SantaThing books. Our libraries have a fair overlap, so I expect to enjoy them - none are authors I've read before, which was my fond hope... Wishing you some rainy days to read the stashed books! I have the same problem - we expect freezing rain soon, something you probably get to avoid..

Helenoel
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I can hardly wait to get started on my SantaThing books. I know just what I'm going to be doing for Do Nothing to Read Day!

Hello,

I see from your collection that we have the same taste in novels.

I was wondering if you were interested in comparing and sharing novel suggestions

Lissa
OK...without sounding like a stalker, can I say, I love you?!

Love the name, great website and a library to die for!

Seriously, not a stalker,

Elizabeth
Thank you for posting your review of Last Night in Montreal on LibraryThing! Greatly appreciated.

Enjoy!

Noticed you liked The Bluest Eye, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also southern and a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

Thank you so much for the Secret Santa books, you did a brilliant job and pinned my tastes exactly - especially with Alone in the Kitchen with an Eggplant. Seriously, bravo! : )
I hope you enjoy the books - I had fun choosing them. I hope you have a great holiday too!
Thanks, Wendy! This looks like fun... of course, it's another of those great side projects that will keep me away from my writing...
Wow...that was quick! Yay for the USPS. lol You are most welcome for the book. I'm just glad that I was able to share it with someone.
Good reads are meant to be shared...and I am trying to get better with sharing my books. Especially at times like now when I am getting read to move and I see all the books I have to pack...move...and then unpack. *blah* So enjoy the book...and then pass it on to someone else when you are done...or keep it if you can't bear to part with it. =) I look forward to hearing your thoughts on it.
I sent the book out to you today. It be making its way to you soon. =)
I've posted my copy of I have Lived a Thousand Years on Bookmooch...no one has snagged it yet so if you have BM then its free for the taking. Or if you don't have BM but still want it let me know and I'll remove it from my inventory there and send it to you. I put a friends reserve note on it so it won't be snagged by a random moocher while you decide.
Hi Wendy! Thanks for adding me! :)
Hello! I've doubled up on my cataloguing efforts and brought them over here too, largely on your recommendation. :-) Your library is staggering! I hope to explore it more. See you around! ~Florinda
Okay, okay, finally gave in and signed up. Even sent for the bar code scanner 'cause lord knows I'll need it. :)
Hi!
I'm subscribed to your weblog and watching your library - we share 121 books! I hope we can be friends.
Looking forward to it!
Caroline123
Great to meet you! Thanks for accepting my friendship. I'm looking forward to checking out your library and I hope you enjoy mine.
I just wanted to thank you for your blog site advice. I signed up blogspot and I can be found at "The printed page", http://printedpage.blogspot.com

I wouldn't visit for a while as it's under construction (LOL) and looks pretty barren right now.

Marcia
Hi,

I need some advice. I love you blog site and wondered if you find it easy to use and very straight forward? I just found out that Yahoo is transitioning away from their current blog format and I need to move to a new home. Or, do you have other recommendations?

I really apperciate any advice you can give me.

Marcia
Hi!
I just subscribed to your blog through Bloglines! We share 54 books......I am not through adding all my library yet - got about 1/3 of the way through, and this is truly addictive!
Hi,

I noticed a post from you at the "On the porch swing" yahoo group so though I thought I'd stop by your LT site. We share 206 books and you make one of my top 50 libraries. I've browsed your library and put some of your books on my wishlist.

Marcia
I know I'm late to the LT but since everyone else is... lol. I'm adding you to my list.
Hi good to find you over here. Will have a proper look through your catalogue and get some ideas of new books :)
Hi WendyCat!

I added you to my watch list as well...looks like we like a lot of the same books.

Wendy (from Yahoo groups - BookiesToo, etc.. :) aka: wenchie!)
Hi Wendy. :) I'm still in the process of entering in the books I've read and traded off over the past couple of years, so I'm sure we'll have even more in common by the time I'm done! Cheryl
Hey Wendy! I just had to pop on over and check out your shelf. You have some great stuff on here! It looks like we share 226 books. Not too shabby. :o)I hope you are enjoying the site...I really like it here. I feel so organized having all my books listed on here. :o) Take Care, Nichole
Hi Wendy,
Just going through seeing how many books I have in common with all the bookworms girls.. We have 210 books in common.
Happy New Year!!
Lisa aka Booknose
Good to see you here--now I can check out some of those books of yours! LOL
