I've been doing some searchs on An Hour by the Heart by Padraig Eoghain Phadrai Mac An Luain, and I've ended up here. The farm in the book, and the people described in it are my ancestors who lived in Donegal in the 20th century and before. I'm actually trying to trace the Professor who gathered the material. Is there anything in the book that lets you know who did it? Hope you enjoyed the tales in there too!
Chris Maloney
PS: The farm is still there, although it has fallen down a bit. You can still make out the bunk beds and the car seat, as well as the peat bogs nearby.
