About meI write books about science and nature for young readers, including Tracking Trash: Flotsam, Jetsam, and the Science of Ocean Motion (Houghton Mifflin, 2007) and The Hive Detectives: Chronicle of a Honey Bee Catastrophe (Houghton Mifflin, 2010). My next book, an introduction to and celebration of citizen science, will be published by Henry Holt in 2012. About my libraryMy library is somewhat eclectic, although definitely heavy on field guides, juvenile literature, and science/nature titles. It is also SORELY in need of cataloging; I'm working on that.
