About meI'm about to start grad school, majoring in American history at University of Illinois at Springfield. I also got a grad assistantship working in the archives department which is uber cool. I did my undergrad at the University of St. Francis where I majored in American history and minored in political science (although NO ONE cares what your minor is, I'm finding out! Haha!). My dream is to one day get my PhD and become a history professor. Until then, I love to read (of course!), travel, write and experience life.

About my libraryA lot of my library is history related, and most of that has to do with United States history. I also like the "classics" and a good mystery (LOVE Sherlock Holmes!). My favorite book of all time is "To Kill A Mockingbird".

Noticed you liked Clockwork Orange, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a group of violent kids (and also a bit dark). I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary (and a sample chapter) in case you'd like to read more about the book before you commit:

Thanks,

Reading your catalog reminds me that I wish I'd kept some of the books from the Vietnam class. I was so poor when I took it that I got half of them from the library and sold the rest as soon as I could.
