GroupsRomance - from historical to contemporary
About meI am an aspiring historical romance writer by night and a bakery manager by day. I hope to lose the day job one day in favor of writing full-time. I live in the wilds of Alabama on five acres in the middle of nowhere with a menagerie of dogs and cats. I am a widow, and have been since I was 35 years old. I never remarried. You don't get that lucky twice.
About my libraryMy library is a mix with a HEAVY emphasis on historical romances, a good bit of paranormal contemporary, Regency era research books which I hope to expand, and a variety of other things by authors I have met along the way.

Kindness is more important than wisdom, and the recognition of this is the beginning of wisdom. (Theodore Isaac, Rubin )
Kindness is tenderness. Kindness is love, but perhaps greater than love. Kindness is good will. Kindness says, "I want you to be happy." (Randolph Ray)
Life is short and we have never too much time for gladdening the hearts of those who are traveling the dark journey with us. Oh be swift to live, make haste to be kind. (Henri Frederick Amiel)

thanks for accepting my friend invite! And there's a light at the end of the tunnel when it comes to working for Wal-Mart--I haven't worked there for nearly three years after a three yr stint in the jewelry dept! *g* Happy writing!

Big CONGRATS on being a Golden Heart finalist!! That's a big deal. You must be thrilled. And good luck with your latest wip too. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you in this year's GH contest. :)
