About meBorn in Maryland, lived here and there. I learned at an early age that books are always there for you. So give me my books, and my friends, a comfy chair and a warm lap quilt, and I'm good for the moment.
Strong international background with friends from many countries, a palestinian son and a libyan son, stepparent was dutch-indonesian.
To date, have only written a few poems, no books yet. Two published in anthologies.
Other interests include medical technology, alternative healing, gluten-free cooking, the tarot, Islam, and genealogy.

About my libraryVaried, much smaller than I'd wish. Over the years, I've given away enough books to stock a small town library, and read at least double that. There are always dozens more I want to read and just not enough time to read them all.

I'm always on the look-out for something new and interesting. I love fantasy, sci-fi, a bit of romance, history, and even how-tos.
