About meMalcolm Frierson is an Assistant Professor of History, researching the politics of culture in the African American experience. He once dreamed of becoming a genetic engineer who would breed "super dogs," but the adult MF is a hopeless romantic whose fiction attracts many who enjoy the traditional fairy tale with modern twists. Malcolm's work tackles serious issues in entertaining fashion and offers positive, realisitic portrayals of African American life and culture. Born in Jackson, Mississippi, he has also lived in Houston, Miami, and New York. He currently resides in Memphis, and none of his middle school friends would believe he has no dogs.
