About meSoftware engineer, Cantabrigian, dabbler in philosophy, religious studies, psychology and neuroscience. I'm becoming a pickier fiction reader as I age, but not with particular prejudices about time period or genre. I like British classics, contemporary stuff, science fiction, humor and satire, sad dramas. I belong to/host a bookclub, and I listen to audiobooks while I run errands.

About my libraryMy book tracking has gotten lax since I discovered that I can pick up free books at the recycling center a block away. Now there are stacks of unentered books on my floor.

I'm still tracking everything I actually read, though, and am pleased about the new Collections feature.

Wow, go social networking...just wait, it's coming to weather.com next...
Thanks for your thoughts. I love all of Adams' work, including his unfinished "The Great Salmon of Doubt" and I really enjoy them on audiobook as well. I'm looking forward to checking out the Gently books.
Have I asked your opinion previously of Philip Pullman and his take on the Judeo-Christian mythos and/or his attack on CS Lewis?
Also, congratulations on using "hogwash" as a tag. Library of Congress should clearly take up that nomenclature.
Did I know you had an account on LT? I'm pretty sure I did not, but I could be wrong about that. In any case, greetings, salutations, et al.
