About meAs the author of historical fiction and the Alchemy Series, I have a penchant for books set in 15th through 18th century Europe. My YA novel Nonna's Book of Mysteries takes place in Renaissance Florence, and the forthcoming Alchemy's Daughter takes place in medieval San Gimignano. I love visiting schools and libraries and sharing the art of writing fiction with young women.

About my libraryI am a fan of Sara Dunant, Philippa Gregory, Susan Vreeland, and Geraldine Brooks. I am currently reading up on the life of Sir Isaac Newton, who might appear in the third book of my Alchemy Series.
