About meHi all! I'm editor of a business magazine, a freelance book editor and reviewer (most recently for Publishers Weekly), and, most importantly, a faculty spouse. A few years ago, I managed to rationalize my longtime book-collecting sickness by writing a book, which a Random House imprint published as Instant Expert: Collecting Books. My wife is still not convinced.

About my libraryI've just listed some very recent reads and to-read acquisitions. I'm a serial accumulator, with maybe 12,000 titles on shelves and packages from ABE and eBay showing up in the mail most days, so no sense in trying to keep up with books purchased just to own. Trust me.

Oh. I just bought your book today. I was trying to figure out why you had shown up on my connections, as I have yet to have any connections. That is cool. Almost done with it. I really like it. Love the shape of your book too. (I know, random...)
