Hi Mel! I just got back from wintering in Florida and saw your message. We do indeed have a lot of overlap. In fact, more than shows on my list as the "free" version of this site limits my input. I'm looking forward to upgrading so I can add all my books. You also seem to have the same kind of varied interests as I do...Diana Gabaldon, Patricia Cornwell, Philippa Gregory, Civil War, Christian thought, etc. etc. Right now, I just finished re-reading a book I enjoyed in Junior High School "The Deliverance of Sister Cecilia", a memoir of a nun who escaped from Communist controlled Slovakia in the early 1950's. I'm also reading Tom Brokaw's "Boom", "The Cat Who Played Brahms" by Lilian Jackson Braun (a bit of fluff suggested by my aunt), and "The Queens of England" series by Jean Plaidy. I used to spend a lot of time at the library but I discovered a super used book store that sells all their paperbacks for $1.00! And I joined a couple of online book swaps where I've been able to a lot of recently released best sellers and not a few old favorites (like "The Deliverance preciously mentioned") for the price of media mail postage, usually around $2.25. I look forward to keeping up with you. Thanks for contacting me! "Lee" Bluis
