About meI was born Michael Woodhead, 7 April 1947, in the township of Rawtenstall, Lancashire, England.

After my family moved to Canada in 1953, my father joined the Royal Canadian Air Force, and we were subsequently posted to Canadian air force bases in Nova Scotia, France, and Quebec. In 1966, we moved to Calgary, and I have been there ever since, although through the years, I managed to visit Germany, Greece, Yugoslavia, Spain, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and the United States.

I've been writing in one genre or another since I was eight years old.

Over the years, I've also developed my other talents as a photographer, artist, actor, producer, director, instructor, and publisher. When not writing, I work full time as an offset printer. As interesting and challenging as my other abilities are, my first love has always been writing.

You can order my first novel, Wizard of Arabah, written under my pseudonym, Tristan Parrish, here

About my libraryI have somewhat of an eclectic library, with books ranging from erotica to spirituality; ancient history to the distant future; art, music and photography; psychology and self-help; role-playing and metaphysics; and fiction sets by favourite authors such as H Rider Haggard, Edgar Rice Burroughs, Robert A Heinlein, Arthur Hailey, John Norman, Ian Fleming, Judith Krantz, Robert E Howard, Irving Wallace, and others.

Although some of the material might reflect my personal beliefs, many do not, and are used as research material only, for the writing I've done, and for what I'm currently working on.

I just received your book today, right on my birthday. What a nice present :)
I did receive a copy of your book last week, I guess it just took ages to get all the way to the tiny country I live in. I will be reading it in the upcoming weeks, due to uni-stress it might take a while for it to be reviewed. Thanks though, and thank you for signing it :)
Just to let you know that if you were wondering why no review of your book ever got online, it is because I never received a copy of your book. Maybe it's because of problems with sending to the Netherlands, or something?
