About meThe Mott-Warsh Collection is a private collection of fine art created by artists of the African Diaspora. Based in Flint, Michigan, the Mott-Warsh Collection was initiated in 2001 as a means providing visual art experiences for Flint-area residents. Education is the core mission of the Mott-Warsh Collection striving to inform the viewing audience about 20th century American history, art making processes, and art appreciation.
About my libraryThe Mott-Warsh Library collection development is driven to support the art objects in the collection, artists represented in the collection, special art exhibitions germane to the genre, and methods in fine art collections management. The non-curculating library is physically housed with the art collection, which enables library visitors to view the original artwork pertaining directly to their research.
