Thank you for mooching the three religion books for me. The condition notes sound fine--underlining doesn't bother me in a reference book.

Yeah, I don't get it. You think I should report them? They were all like, 'it's my friend's book and he doesn't want it to leave the UK and I have to respect his wishes'. Anyway, thanks for saying I'm lovely! I stalked you on twitter, but you haven't posted anything there yet. Come join the procrastination nation :)
Measly Medicine arrived a lot sooner than I'd expected. It's now reserved for you at

Hi Kat, Violent Volcanoes etc is up on BookMooch and reserved for you.
Surprisingly, it turned out to be a hardcover although was listed as a paperback.

The Horrible Geobraphy book has been accepted! To be sent in a few days. Will keep you posted.
~ Helen
The book owner has accepted and indicated he will ship in 2 weeks. I've made an angel-mooch listing for you so you can mooch it before the points change to 3 points.
Sure, the way you propose to send your Nations sounds great! I'm glad to be able to provide a good home.
Thank you, thank you, thank you and your mom too!!
Sure I'll send you an invitation! I'll need your email, tho. :)
Hi! If your mom has a copy of Eat this, Not That she wants to part with I'd really appreciate it! Thanks!!
Hello! I've got your book all parcelled up and ready for mooching. Sorry it's taken me longer than expected.
Hi Kat, I've tagged Sense & Sensibility as reserved for you and I'll probably post it on Friday, after I get the first round of my mom's books mailed out.
Hello, your book has arrived from BookMooch, but I won't get a chance to send it out before the new year now I'm afraid. It'll be winging its way to you at the beginning of January.
i like your member name
thank you! if ever you're interested in angelling another mooch, I posted another book in the angel thread :
Wohoo! Thank you so much for angeling World Made By Hand for me! Not rush, mailing in 2011 would be best :)

Sorry that I haven't been on LibraryThing in a while, so I didn't see your comment. It's disappointing about Henderson the Rain King, but the owner was clearly not coming back to BookMooch, so you did the right thing by cancelling. I'm sorry that the request was a hassle, but I really appreciate your willingness to help me.

- Kevin
You are very welcome, everyone should be able to have books for Christmas!
Just in case the BM notification has gone astray, your book has arrived and is listed for you here:
~ Lyn
I would love Skipping Towards Gomorrah if you still have it. I'm sparingqueen on BM. Thank you!

Sorry about that.. I am interested in that author, but I already have that one.... Thought I just had one with a similar title. Very sorry about that :)
Hi Kat- Do you still have "Eat Pray Love"? Let me know! I'm msf59 on BM. Thanks!

I'll take the Dorothy Sayers book if you still have it.
I'm amwmsw04 on bookmooch.

I'll take the Dorothy Sayers book if you haven't found any takers yet.
I'm amwmsw04 on bookmooch!

Ms. Cellophane,
Sounds like the plan to me. I'll list them when I have a chance.
~ Missy
Hi, I left a message in book moochers about a box of ASL books I have in the garage. Will try to dig it out and get back to you.
Hey Kat,
Your condition of To Kill A Mockingbird does not deter me. What makes me shiver is the thought of spending even more on a book for another book club or juggling yet one more library loan! = )

I'd like to mooch if you are interested. I am Bo on BM, please send me a BM email if you do so.

Thanks greatly!
I've gone ahead and reserved it for you on BM - hope it'll be useful!! I can send it out next weekend.

Just wanted to let you know that my grandkids and I sent you our book this morning: Green Philanthropy For Familiies: 160 Simple Earth Honoring Gifts, Actions, Activities and Projects; you should receive it in the next few days. Thank you for requesting it in the Member Giveaway program. We look forward to reading your review.

Best regards,

Helen, Justin, and Alexis

Thanks for all the smooches LOL! No, you don't need to do anything else. I've been mooching quite a few books for my son so it has worked out very well.

Yup, thems my kitties. Boots is the black and white, Doofy is the one with the smushable face :-) and Tubby who sadly passed away about 5 weeks ago. She was a very sweet, very old kitty at 19 years old.

I'm glad you liked the X-Files stuff. I really have no room at the apartment we're moving in to and I'm glad I found someone who enjoys them. Because of my lack of space I'm also considering sending out some of my "Truth is Out There" season specific books. If I decide to do that I'll certainly ask if you're interested.
Hi! I was just curious if you ever got the X-Files stuff. I sent out a second package of comics as well that I found after I sent out the big box.

The box went out today parcel post. You should have it in about a week. Enjoy!!
I forgot to add the four comic books issues 14, 41, 16 and 15
Also another Entertainment Weekly, a People magazine and another Sci-Fi Universe. I had all these separate from the rest and forgot to list them.
Here is a general list of what I'm getting rid of:

180ish trading cards and three ring trading card binder
2 scripts "Pusher" and "The Erlenmeyer Flask" (Flask has a big ice cream stain on the front of it, sorry)
10 issues of The X-Files Magazine
Lots of miscellaneous articles
The Rolling Stone issue with David and Gillian in bed on the front
1 Entertainment Weekly and 1 Sci-Fi Universe
Some randomly printed fanfiction (found one I wrote LOL!)

Let me know if you're interested.
If you'll give me an idea of Okay condition on the BSC books I'd be more than happy to pick them up for you as I can. Please let me know which ones you need so that I don't buy one you've already got.

Are you looking for paperback or hardback? Library used okay? etc?
Hi back! To be fair, that is in fact where I had most of my dS education, if you don't count the friends who badgered me into watching in the first place. It was such a wrench being unable to work a Paul Gross joke into my comment.

Honestly, though, I believe it was Bcteagirl's response that really made it work.
Its a shame when that happens, hopefully it will come up another time for me. thanks for trying :)
Ummmm.... so that was a good thing huh? LOLOLOLOL!
Just as well I had finished my cup of tea when your message popped in, or my screen would have been sprayed from my laughter - it is the nicest compliment ever!
And it IS the best on-line book site ever for me - can you imagine how good it is to get FREE SHIPPING to Australia?

Another ummmmm.... you may hate me when your huge TBR (like mine) falls and threatens to suffocate you in so many books! :)
There is a US site too - make sure you don't get re-directed (I have heard).
No problem. I just appreciate you sending them to me!!

You're the best, and very cute and witty too, by the way :)

Thanks for remembering about me - and have a great weekend!

thank you so much for Aztec too!
Thanks, I'd almost forgotten about that book! yeah, i'm still interested if you don't mind, lets just hope that the owner will send it:)
thanks again for being an angel, Ruby
Thank you for already requesting the Red Panda book!
But for "These our actors" I'm actually looking for a copy that is in good enough condition for keeping. So I'll wait and see if I can find another one (either on Bookmooch or in the bookshop).
Hi Kat,
Yes, please go ahead and cancel without remorse, and thank you very much for trying. Hopefully we'll both get to read it someday soon :)

Thanks again,
Thanks for mooching Flanagan's Run for me Ms C.
Thank you so much for your encouraging comment about the Library Mission. =] (By the way, if you ever do get a chance to do something similar in Mexico, let me know! I'd be glad to help.) I don't mind at all adding you as a friend--you could add the Library Mission, too if you like. I may even mooch some Spanish books with my personal account after I send more books out.
That would be great! Thanks so much!
I love ARCs - thanks so much Kat :)

Btw, I saw that you had wishlisted "Gaudy Night". I have a copy (reading copy, clean) I'm planning to put in my inventory. Do you want me to reserve it for you? If you don't want it, no worries.
Correction: Puppy Love by Jeanne Bettancourt.
I mooched

Then the Troll Heard the Squeak by Kevin Hawkes
When You Were A Baby by Katharine Ross
Dither Farm by Sid Hite
Puppy Love by Jennifer Holm

I know this isn't on your deal list, but any chance of getting The Geese are Back as part of the 5-1 deal?
do you want the paperback or the hardcover?
The Order of the Phoenix that I have has this cover:
If it's the one you want, it's yours ;)
Hi Kat
Have received, listed and reserved the two books for you on BM.
The Enid Blyton Book of Brownies
The Watchers Guide Buffy The Vampire Slayer
They'll have to go surface mail I'm afraid.
Best, Helen
Hi! I am sooo sorry it took me so long to reply... I was in the middle of studying for my most important final and I had to disconnect my laptop from the internet, or else I would never had gotten ANYthing done. I'm glad with your decision to cancel the mooch; I would've done exactly the same. In fact I was going to ask you to do it before finals struck, but of course I forgot amidst all the studying. Thank you very very VERY much for everything; you've been really sweet.
Hi Kat

Just letting you know that both of today's mooches have been accepted. :D

I very much want Breaking Dawn. I'll be happy to smooch you an extra 3 points when I get it in the mail. Thanks for checking for me I really appreciate it.
Re: Horrible Geography

I was giving the owner the benefit of the doubt but checking in tonight, the account is on vacation and there are a few cancelled mooches so I think this one is not going to happen - I'm very sorry I would not help you this time.

Please let me know if I can ever help angel you anything in the future.

Best wishes

Just let me know when they arrive, that's payment enough!
Kat - I sent you an email re the angel mooches - but I didn't hear back...what has happened? My curiosity cat is killing me!
Hi there, MsCellophane, no problem re the mooches yesterday, I've just realised you're also the lady I angeled the Harry Potter book for - hopefully they'all arrive fairly soon for a nice little Christmas package for you.

Sorry for the late reply, I haven't been able to come online, as much as i'd like to.
Anyhow, To reply to your earlier comment, Yes! I'd love to mooch the following books:
Drawing and Painting the City by Mario Cooper*
Sketching the Countryside by L.A. Doust*
Old Master Paintings in North America: A Comprehensive Guide to Locating and Enjoying Over 3000 Masterpieces by 50 Great Artists by John D. Morse

As for the remaining which I'm not too keen to have, I;ve posted the avaliablity on my thread as well as to those who replied to it.
Well thank-you very much :D Just about to mooch them now - I look forward to reading them!
Hi there,
Thank-you very much for taking a look! I am interested in the books "La casa de los espiritus" and "Lluna llena" :) Unfortunately, I think the last book you mentioned is in Portuguese. If the book was expensive, I don't mind smooching you to make up for it.
Will you be willing to send to New Zealand? There's no hurry as I won't be able to mark them as received until early February (I am leaving for Italy in less than a month's time).
Thanks again,
It's one of my favourites too, but has never been in the bookstores here, unfortunately... thank you so much, I really appreciate it!
Hi Kat, I certainly WOULD be interested in your copy of The Only Alien on the Planet! Very nice of you... is there something special you do when you register the book on BM so that I get first priority? (Never done this before, obviously :)
Hi Kat,
No worries - if they were important comments I would have tracked you down another way :)

Thanks for offering to send some of the books on Monday - I'll look forward to that.

I will never be anything other than nice with you, after all you have done for me. Sure do understand the need to be kept on track, however. Wish someone would be mean to me and tell me that I do not need to be purchasing anymore books from It's so incredibly hard to resist!

Have a great weekend,
Oh I don't think I'd call myself a professional poetry reader or anything (whatever that may be). I've only been really interested in poetry for a year now so I'm most definitely a newbie and I will certainly be checking out your recommendation! Thanks so much for thinking of mentioning this to me (I live for recommendations)!
Hi again,
Okay, it was German children's books you were wanting, and it was way back in the spring. Sorry about that!

Hunger Games is Young Adult. You can still have first dibs on it if you change your mind - let me know, otherwise I'll put it up on BM.

Why are we not "friends" on here yet? I must be slipping...putting in a request now.

See ya,
excuse me - Illinois. That is why you should proof-read BEFORE posting :)
Hello Dahling,
Lest you think I have gone off my rocker, I thought I saw you looking for German books on the foreign languages thread, and that is why I thought you might like it. I will have to go back now and see if I have confused you with someone else (would not be at all unlike me).

I wonder how much it is to ship ponies to Ilinois from Canada?

Have a great weekend!
Kat, you're wonderful - thanks so much. I'll make you a friend on BM so that we can easily connect on there.

Keep me in mind for Canadian angel mooches!

Thanks again for the Angel Mooch (The Princess Bride). My 'Also on' works so you should be able to find me.
BTW, if you need an Angel for Spain, count on me. :)

Glad I could make you even a little bit as happy as I'm feeling now MsCellophane :D I'm still grinning and doing crazy little dances in my head.
